Graduation and Crazy hair!

Well, it's official...Halle has graduated for pre-school! Kinda sad when you think about it...well, maybe just when I think about it! ;)

She had a part in the program to sing to her daddy. She sang the song we all learned in primary..."I'm so glad when Daddy comes home". She did a great job!

She raised her hand for this part in the program, and afterwords had seconded thoughts. She didn't realize that it would be on stage with a microphone! After a week of practices at the school she felt better about the whole thing, and did a great job! 

G-ma Larsen joined us, and it was great to have her there. She said to me, "Katie, this has been a wonderful day!" It was really sweet. I'm glad she was able to be there with us.

On a different note...it was "CRAZY HAIR DAY" at Skyler's school. Check this hairdo out...

Just for fun we started playing around with her hair the night before and this is what we came up with. It did take some time, so she just slept in it and it all stayed in tacked.

Pretty crazy...right? She loved it and had fun with it! That's my girl!

Enjoying the 2 days of summer weather

The girls have been wanting to set up a popsicle stand for quite a while now. They had this table decorated and these signs made for almost 3 weeks before we finally saw some decent weather.

With music playing and their social skills at work, they managed to make $6.75 in about two hours, (and I didn't have to buy one!) They had a lot of fun doing this and it was cute to watch them work together.

We also enjoyed the warm weather by going for a hike up "Waterfall Canyon". It was such a nice day, and the waterfall was beautiful!

Our dog Sydney was on cloud nine. She loved drinking the river water and exploring everything around her.

The waterfall was so pretty and it was nice to feel the mist of the waterfall after a mile and a half hike up hill.

 We had some lunch by the waterfall, and the girls had fun throwing rocks into the river.

The girls did so good with the hike. Halle got a little tired and Trev ended up carrying her for part of the way, but to her defense she was hiking with a sinus/ear infection....who knew?

I can't wait for summer and more adventures like these!
