One last trip!

Farmington Canyon is one of our favorite places to camp. We decided to take one last camping trip before school started.

This is one of "Our Spots". It is on the back side of the canyon, and it has a pond that you can camp next to.
It was not long before Trevor found something to climb! this picture is great, but the video is even better. There was some teetering going on....a little scary, but that's what 4X4 is all about!

The butterfly nets came in handy when we discovered THIS????

Is that a Salamander?

And of course Halle with her Pringles....a favorite of hers!

This is what the Cruiser looked like with all of our "crap"! Trevor with his "Plumbing talents" made a rack out of ABS pipe. It works great for these kinds of camping trips and costs about $550.00 less the the real deal!

Singing a song....

This is just a funny I have to share with you all! Today as I was folding towels and putting them in the closet I heard Halle in her room playing. She was singing a song, and I did not recognize the tune necessarily, but I did recognize the words. She was singing...."Save money, live better, Wal-mart"! Are you kidding me? I think that was a sure sign for me that I need to get back into a routine of TV off at a certain time, and some creative play!!!
(Picture above was her in Park City last week getting every last little bit of crumbs out of the Pringles can!)

Skyler has a BLOG!

Well, as a lot of you know, Skyler is a huge "I Carly" fan. This is a show about a girl who has her own web show. Skyler wants so bad to have her own website, so I figured I would give her a shot at a blog. She has got some big plans for her blog...according to Skyler, and wants everyone to be involved! So add her to your blog list and watch for upcoming posts! She's a funny girl, I'm excited to see what she has in store! www.skythecowgirl.blogspot.com

Weber County Fair

This is the newest addition to the Tractor collection. One of G-pa Marty's hobbies!
The rest of G-pa's tractors. Where's G-pa? We never did see him.
Skyler just thought this was AwEsOmE!
A little pony Halle thought was just "ohhhh, so cute"
Feeding the goats. This was their favorite thing at the fair!
Oh, and the cute little baby. Halle was trying so hard to just feed the baby, but those other goats were pretty quick!
When we got home the first thing Skyler did was get her basketball. She stared and stared and stared at it! Then she threw it down, and said..."Ewwwwww, that is sick"!
Check out these horns. They could do some serious damage!
This was a funny looking bull. Very hairy!
And last, but not least the pigs! Oh these were cute! They were so little and the noises they made were making the girls laugh!
We had a great time at the fair today. Too bad for the wind, we had to cut our afternoon a little short. I had no idea there were so many different kinds of chickens, "cocks", (I have a hard time with that) and pigeons. Trevor thought is was so strange that I was getting such a kick out of everything. I kept telling him, I did not grow up with stuff like this, and because of my allergies, I never really was around it. It is really quite interesting. I think I will make going to the fair a tradition!
