Father-Daughter Day!

About two weeks ago I noticed Skyler had written on our calender July 29th was Father-"Dawter" Day. I asked her what she had planned for the day, and she told me it was up to Dad! I warned Trevor about this day, and suggested maybe he could take her to dinner and a movie. Well, as we all know times are tough, so he opted for doing something a little less expensive, but much more memorable I'm sure!! After grilling some hot dogs and making some french fries, which Skyler was quite surprised about, "Who makes fries...you buy them" she said, he started to pitch a tent in our backyard. The girls were so excited, and so was I! This meant I got the WHOLE bed to myself! They got their blankets and pillows as he popped some popcorn and then hooked up the DVD player. They all watched "Kung Fu Panda", one of Trevor's favorites, and slept outside. The girls had a blast, and although Trevor did not get as good of sleep as I did, he was happy to see the girls so excited!

Bonding/Modeling Time

We're headed off to Moab next week and Trevor needed to get the Landcruiser washed and ready for the trip. Halle decided she wanted to help, so Trevor assigned her the rims and tires. She loves being with her dad no matter what it is their doing. It was so cute watching them visit together, I couldn't help but take some pics!
She quickly became more interested in me taking the pictures, that it was now all about posing, smiling, then looking at the results on the digital camera and saying, "Oh, I'm so cute...huh Mom?!" I would then reply, "Yes, your sooooooo cute Halle".

4th of July FUN!!

What a fun 4th of July we had this year! Skyler was in the Hooper parade with her Cheer team, and she had a lot of fun doing that. It was extra fun, because her cute little cousin Breeley was with her. The two of them looked so cute. Skyler had the parade wave down, and Breeley was having fun throwing "poppers". Later that day we went to West Point Park where G-pa Marty's Tractors were on display. The girls thought it was pretty neat that although the signs said, "No climbing on the tractors" They knew they could ride them just as soon as they were back to the house. It was nice to see some good friends at the Park as well, (Liz) and visit for a while. Later that night we went to the Clearfield firworks. What an GREAT show! They always do a good job, and the girls thought they were "AWESOME"! We enjoyed Three different cities festivities and are looking forward to the rest of July...lots of fun still ahead!!
