The Living Aquarium!

Last week we decided to go to the Living Aquarium down in Sandy. The kids had a lot of fun, and it was really interesting for them to see all of the different animals. Skyler's favorites were the Anaconda and the Boa Constrictor! Halle's favorites were the frogs and the Octopus! My favorites were the Jelly fish, and the Sting Ray's. We all had a great time!

Happy Birthday to the sweetest most kind girl I know! I love you Skyler so much!!

This weekend we had a Birthday party for Skyler with a few of her Best Friends. She had a great time, and I think all of the girls had a blast.

One thing Skyler wanted to do for her Birthday party was to decorate cakes.They all did a great job and had lots of fun!

I put my domestic talents to work, (ummm yeah, not too many), and made the girls aprons.
They had a lot of fun wearing them, and they really don't care what the stitching looks like!

Next on the agenda was SMORES!!

They had a lot of fun dancing and singing and doing "Girls Stuff"!

We found these cute dolls that perfectly resembled the four girls! They were all in their P.J.'s and had fuzzy slippers. Skyler just loved them and was so excited to give them to her friends! They set a new record that night and stayed up until 6:00 a.m.!!! OH MY....I found myself saying things that my mom said to me when I would have sleepover's. "Kate...turn it down a notch"! What comes around goes around I guess. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SKY!!!

What a mean Aunt!

Last weekend I watched Kenyon and Beckam while Jenny and Kenny were out of town. I asked them along with Skyler and Halle if they wanted to go see the movie "Up" later that day. They were so excited, jumping up and down with huge grins on their face, until I told them they had to pick up POOP in the backyard before we could go! The look on Kenyon's face was priceless...well at least I thought, until I got these pics of him in action...

Ohhhhh, what a mean Aunt I am! I called Kenny and told him what was going on, and the two of us just laughed over the phone!

He about lost his breakfast!

He tried to quite after this, telling me he "just couldn't do it". I was laughing and said "just do it really fast like Skyler is".
We have always used a shovel to do this little job, but I was sick of my lawn getting dug up with every scoop, so the plastic bag was the trick. This was Skyler's first time as well! :)

All the while these two enjoyed being the younger siblings. Just taking in the morning air!

Cheer recital '09

Skyler participated in 4, different recitals! Yes, that's right...I sat through 4 recitals!!! It was so fun to watch her cheer, but boy was I glad when we were done!

The Miller family came out to support Skyler in her first recital!

Skyler and Breeley both did a great job! How fun for the two of them to experience this together.

Skyler and Emma, her BFF! Emma also was in the recital and that too was fun for Skyler to watch her friend dance.

Happy Birthday Halle!!

Happy Birthday to the girl who makes me laugh every single day! I believe I tell her I love her at least 20 times a day, and that is still not enough. She brings so much happiness to our lives. I can't believe it has been three years since she was born. What a blessing she has been to our family! I love you Halle!!!
