Pretty ok day

For those considering to watch Madagascar, dun watch it!a waste of money.The plot is quite normal n it's not tt funny except for a few small sections..n plus how is it possible for a giraffe to be together with a hippo?lols,they are teaching the kids the wrong thing sia..haha.Apparantly we went arcade as we tend to do so.haha.the paper card system at timezone is quite dumb cos you can only use the card at the place you top up.We didn't know so we topped up $5 each first.then after playing for a while we decided to change place and upon reaching there, we realised that we had to buy another card..lols..n i'm going singing tmr, like what?ahahaha!okay, i shalt go back to gold miner!*toodles*

A's finally ended!A's finally ended!A's finally ended!A's finally ended!A's finally ended!A's finally ended!A's finally ended!A's finally ended!A's finally ended!A's finally ended!A's finally ended!11 times for the no. of papers i finished!lols..A sense of relief yet afraid to see the result next yr.But for now it's going out time!haha!Went to tampines today with two of my good buddies and we went to watch HSM3!i personally think it's quite nice considering i've never watched any of their shows before and i still dunno what's the female lead's name in the show.haha!Vanessa Hughes(think tt's her real name)is quite pretty and the bitchy girl in the show is pretty too :) and both of them told me the same thing : Go learn to ride a bike, next time the uni campus veh big then no car must ride bike!lols!Was damn tempted to step into the arcade to play initial D4, their steering wheel is fantastic sia!But too bad, i didn't bring a change of clothes :( There's still next time!YEAH!

Blessing and Contentment

Random thoughts
What do you consider as a blessing?How do you deem a person to be blessed?Having a good life?Having tons of money?Having 5Cs?Having a good career?Having a loving bf/gf?Having straight As?Having friends who are always there for you?Having a bonded family?Having a charismatic personality???
It all depends on the core of the person doesn't it?The main characteristic of one determines how the person looks at life.People often say "You know, we ought to be really contented with what we have now.People in Africa dun have food, you do, so finish it up and stop complaining about the edibility of it,as long as it doesn't kill.People are jobless, so you should learn to cherish your job and stop complaining about the meagre pay and tons of work you have to do.People do not have parents, so you ought to learn to love and be nicer to your father and mother." It's often easier said than done isn't it? Having the determination to be contented ain't enough i guess. Perhaps getting help from people or God might just do the job.

Quiet Time
Learnt this during sunday sch quite some time ago:
- We should lay our disappointments at the foot of the Cross.
- Laying both burdens and things that are precious to us at God's feet and not take it back
Which i translate in my own way to mean that since we have agreed to hand it up to the Almighty, why attempt to solve it using our limited wisdom and worry about the end product?
"If we do our best, God will do the rest" - one phrase that i hold onto especially during this whole period of exams.
This verse was repeated again and again during last Sat's Games Day:
"For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the Cross
that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" - John 3:16
What else will He withhold from us?The Father loves the Son and since we are in the Son, He loves us.
"Ask and it will be given to you; Seek and you will find; Knock and the door will be opened to you" - Luke 11:9
Dun be afraid to ask God for help for through Him, all things are possible.

This seems to be going nowhere but i somehow hope that it answers part of yr infintely many qs and leads you to a path nearer to Him :)

Mixed feelings

Had a mini 4A3 gathering though the situation in which we met wasn't quite an ideal one.just realised that though one could have really good friends but whether you knew what's going on in the other person's family life is another thing,which may seem pretty sad. but in any case, BE STRONG GIRL!God will always be there as He is our Shelter and Refuge and our Father!It's amazing how wonderful we are able to experience God despite all the adversity.

A levels is ending soon with 2 more MCQs!It wasn't that good afterall. GP was horrendously horrible!MAths was rather do-able if not for my careless mistakes (like forgetting to press enter on the GC and writing "Using the GC: ..." when they already mentioned earlier that no calculators are allowed for the stupid qs blah blah blah) Chem was in between GP and Maths but by the looks of it i might not get my A. Then ECONS!!!It was the worst of all. Writing 3 pages for a 25 marks qs and less than 1 page for a 15 marks qs. my gosh!like whatever lah....Oh well, really hoping for a miracle to happen when i get my results. In the meantime i have already in-officially announced that A's is over as i think the majority of us would!lols.

Dun feel so dejected k?U tried yr best liao :) n next time pls dun scare me like you did yesterday afternoon hor. my gosh, my heart literally stopped for the split sec sia..haha :D
