hiking

recently went for hiking with a couple of friends at a nearby place called bukit tabur. woke up about some time in the morning... i forgot the exact time. haha. so the 5 of us reached at the gates where the trail begins at about 7:30. there were another group of students already there and beginning to went up the trail.

since most of us are new to hiking. we try to follow them closely(maybe they have a little experience going up here). the trail begins with lots of grass and mud. pretty easy. but it gets a bit rough(the surface is rough... i am not tired yet). lots of rocks and some of them are pretty sharp and pointy. i can already imagine some kid slipped and fell onto one of those sharp rocks and die from excessive bleeding.

there were others hiking up the trail as well. they are mainly students. as we keep climbing upwards, we reached to a point where the view of the area is very breathtaking. the view of the dam and the hill blocking the sun is just great. as we turn to the right, we could see the view of KL. its incredible how a place this pretty could be just beside a busy, noisy and polluting city.

as we sit down and catch our breath(its actually photography session. they are busy taking so much pictures... haha), we saw some bees flying around. now, at that kinda height and if u have someone who has a phobia of bees.. you are in for a big trouble. but since none of us are afraid of bees. its fine lar... doesnt matter as long we're not attacked. but then... someone from our group got stung rite in the neck. its just a worker bee i think so its pretty harmless and since he's not allergic to bees then its pretty much ok...

so we continued on and as we kept on moving faster... we catch up with another group of students accompanied by an experienced hiker. i am not sure lar... but judging from the size of her calfs and the amount of scratches she has on her legs without a single complain... she's definitely experienced. they were at piece of rock trying to ascend down to get to the other peak. if i am not wrong.... there's 11 peaks? not so sure bout that... all in all.. its a pretty nice place to go... i would recommend this to anyone to try.. though it would be pretty tough for the vertically challenged aka short people.. i notice those with longer legs manage to get thru much easier..

after reaching to the end, we started moving down the hill.. heading towards the entrance. we end up in a jungle trekking trail and well... we end up getting out of course. haha... what do you expect? getting lost? haha..
