The next thing I worked on (and the hardest) was the ring bearer pillows. Both of our boys will be walking down the aisle carrying these:
I've also been scrapbooking her engagements to create a guest sign in book, but that's not complete enough to share just yet. The shower was held at a family friend's house - which was absolutely gorgeous. Lots of people helped with food and decorating, so the shower looked really nice.
After everyone had gathered, we welcomed them, and asked everyone to start enjoying the food. We had a huge turnout of at least 40 people, so there was lots of socializing and snacking going on. Once everyone had a chance to eat and chat, we decided to start the games. The first game involved Danni guessing which photo related to Ryan.
She got them all right and with incredible speed. We were impressed because we thought we had made it a little hard. The next game was a series of 25 questions that we had asked Ryan to answer about himself. We then asked Danni to give us the correct answer pertaining to Ryan. IF she got it wrong, then she had to stick a large quantity of gum in her mouth. She did pretty well, but towards the end, her wad of gum was getting pretty big. I guess it didn't help her any that Ryan had lied on a question or two knowing she'd be chewing more gum...ha ha I love it.
Next we started opening up the mass amounts of gifts surrounding the room. Danni got a lot of great things from all of her friends and family. She's definitely set to start making some amazing food. Can't wait until she invites us over for dinner:) Overall the shower was a huge success and a lot of fun. Here's a photo of things to come. This is my sister and her bride's maids.
