DAY 1 of COR! - 13/06/08

First and foremost, let short-haired Xinyi say "HI!" to all of u!! (:



haha! so do i looked bad with short hair? LOL!
i know i'm pretty. =X
anyway, check out the watermelon in my hand!!!
Isn't it wonderful?!
so considerate of the auntie who prepared it! kudos!

we went to a villager's house to have our lunch and dinner when we stayed at the hotel.
i was so impressed by the watermelon when i had my first meal there.
the food was good. it was all malay food! (:

we went to the place where dry shrimps(ikan bilis) and salted fishes were produced!
all those things on the floor are tiny shrimps! millions of them!
we were walking on wooden planks, below us was the sea. scary!! =X



TADA! this is the lesbian girl who slept with mi for 3 nights in the hotel!
LOL! we were lucky. other ppl have to squeeze three into one room.

This boy is something.
he learnt english all by himself using the dictionary.
guess wad is his ambition?
to be a english teacher in Indonesia so all the kids there can speak english.
i was so touched by him!
i'm hoping i can become pen-pal with him. (:
oh, i played a short game of Captain's Ball with the kids there as well.
LOL! FUN!



after the orphanage, we went to the backyard of the hotel for games!!
that's freddie, the most enthu Game-er! LOL!



i was happy that we got to bath after the games.
and we gathered at night to draw our GROUP FLAG!

DAY 2 of COR - 14/06/08



i must be doing some sleepwalk in that morning.
check out my ugly face and posture.
we had checked out of the hotel and landed outselves at Palawan Beach of Indonesia at 7 am+.
OMG.
mosquitoes-feeding time STARTED!!



i like rural life sometimes.
onli when i see cute things.
saw those CHICKS??!
omg!! LOL!! hian phong, i know u will like them! =X



i was separated from my "wife" for one night cos she decided to have one-night stand with other girls. LOL!
they decided to do it the wild-way.
so they started working on their tent!
=X



then it was sea activities in the morning!!
we did some "sea-crossing" b4 this.
after that,
like wad i did b4 during P6 adventure camp.
we built our own rafts!
check out how sturdy it was! LOL!



after that we were supposed to sail a few metres into the sea with life jackets on.
jus in case our rafts DIE on us. LOL!

after that, i went to a veri "u-lu" toliet with denise.
and look at wad we found!
it was those machines that kids play in Singapore.
those type where u insert a 50 cents coin, and it starts moving with a loud music.
over there in Indonesia, u still nid to pay,
but it moves by man-made energy!!
the man was cycling like mad!! LOL!



the day din end with those sea activities.
in the afternoon, we did the Indonesia version of SOC (standard obstacles course).
of cos, we dun nid to hurry.
we did it with our own pace. LOL!
*victory!* LOL!



that was Ah bing(the AGL) on the left.
i have no idea wad the two of them were doing.
OH!
we were playing games!!
LOL!
our group started playing alot of stupid games when we finished the SOC. =X
i was the stupid fellow who suggested playing them. LOL!

finally it was dark.
we cooked our own dinner - maggie mee, with solid fuel and mass tin that evening.
queued for half and hour to bath!
Denise even bathe in the dark with onli a torchlight lying on the wall.
omg. even if u are gonna kill mi, i wont bath in that cubicle! =X



SUN-BURNED!! NOO!!! =X



then, it was campfire's time!!
they decided to play some games.
and i was sabotaged by freddie to play the game with him.
we weren't aware of wad was in for us.



this is the moral of the story.
do not do anything stupid unless u know the full details.
LOL!!!
i had peanuts on my face, ears and lips!!
CANT SMILE!

i'm missing the friends i made at COR.
they were amazing.
one can perform "self-tao-bok", another is 哪吒 a.k.a. 乱大便, and i was arranged to sleep with a "lesbian" for 3 nights! LOL!
i was called "大便女" and "人渣"(self-named).

well, i miss doing a few things.

i miss chatting with meh heh!
i miss hanging out with the girls!
i miss singing with tigger!
i miss hanging out with my 05S22 clinque!
i miss communicating using sign language.
i miss attending Jap lessons with Ling Ling sitting next to mi.
i miss shopping!

I went ice-skating with Clementi centre peeps last sunday.
the skaters were so tight that it left behind some blisters on my calves and ankles.
freaking UGLY!
it was so funny.
for one second u see this fellow gliding gracefully and u started thinking that he was pro!
but the veri next second, he's gone.
with two feets high in the air. =X *ouch*
those guys were so evil.
for the whole night they kept insisting that they coudln't see me becos i was "chao-tar".
according to them, onli when i smiled and revealed my braces,
some "lasers" would shoot out from my braces and i became visible.
thanks huh!
zzzz!! LOL!

anyway, i'm still having my holidays now.
my school starts on 4th august.
but i will be attending a WSC camp on 22-25 July. (:
the pre-camp for GL (group leaders) is on 12th July.
cas! sorrie oh! let's celebrate ur b'dae earlier this year okie?? (:

lastly, i managed to shock my colleagues last night when i "resurfaced" after almost 2 weeks.
my new hair, new tan and new braces.
LOL!! i like things this way.

and of cos i know, my character had changed as well alreadi.
i'm learning to say NO. (:

namely, my virgin group tuition class and virgin RSPHI committee meeting.

things are all looking good.
and i'm all in and ready for a SUPER BUSY but definitely fun year ahead!

i din slept well last nite at all.
i was too excited abt wad is going to happen in my life in the near future.
i'm gonna do things that i never do before.
Greater responsibility. Exponential fun. Absolute focus. Unstoppable passion.
my whole mind was filled with zillion of images that i couldn't differentiate whether they were dreams or thoughts.

i have almost all my days for the next 2 weeks packed with activities.
well, i encourage everyone to step out of ur comfy zone and try.
we, humans, can do with more than jus focusing on only one or two things in life.

anyway, i din realli tell any single soul my entire schedule.
so it's better that i roughly blog it here b4 some of u tink tat i was kinnaped by Martians when u hear no news from me.

i will be having my Japanese Language written paper this coming Wed morning, 11th of June.
Then, on Thursday, 12th of June, it's arts and craft session with my Clementi mates to make 2 diaries for my seniors.
Friday is filled up with 2 tuitions and i will be busy packing my backpack for my Indonesia Trip.
i will be leaving the house at 5 plus in the morning on Saturday (14th of June) for my Indonesia Trip, i will be back on the following wednesday evening (18th June).
hopefully i will be able to meet up with Ching and HJ on the same evening to give them the treat i promised!(it's actualli my forfeit for losing the bet.) LOL!

the next day, 19th june will be the turning point of my life. super crucial.
20th of June, i have WSC meeting.(my cca, the main family of which RSPHI belongs to.)
21st of June, tuition resumes for my cute Ryan. i hope i can make time to see him and give him a formal farewell. ( the best will be tat i dun nid to give him up of cos! =X ) aww, i'm sad.
22nd of June, clementi centre outing. we will be going for ice skating!! and i will be sharing the bill for dinner together with 5 others.
23rd of June, i start tuition at Serangoon North Ave 1. This will be the first time i teach a class of children. around 5 - 7 in a class. the crux lies with wad i will be teaching, not the number. *cold sweats*. LOL!

well, all these tat i mentioned are jus the tip of the iceberg.
there are still alot of other matters that i am still trying to comprehend.
I guess i will have a new buddy soon that understands what i'm going thru in RSPHI now.
becos none of my current buddies actualli undergone wad i'm going thru now.
i'm toking abt volunteerism.

ALRITE! it's time for mi to do my Japanese Language revision!

i dunno when i will be back to blog, maybe 1 hour later,
maybe tml, maybe after i came back from Indonesia.

but i like it.
