I know...I know...I haven't been updating my blog at all...Been lazy and tied up with loads of assignments...as my semester is just a short sem~
Come to think of it, must of my assignments come from M'sian studies...I hate Lan~ seesh...so much presentatations and assignments...
Today was my last day of college for this sem~ ^^ I took drama this sem~ and I enjoyed it so much that I know that I am definitely going to miss it...as I got to meet new people there...as drama is such a small group, we get to know each other during the course of these 7 weeks...tra~ I gonna miss seeing you guys everyday... My drama lecturer is da best...drama class is so fun~ I am just so sad to see it end...
Aaah~ well that is all I am blogging for now...being the lazy person I am...Finals are just a week away, So it is time to hit the books! ;p

the end of the 2nd sem in college...

lalala~time flies by so quickly and before you know it, the second semester of my 1st year in college is drawing to an end...^^ yuppp...today is my last day of college and finals are just around the corner...ok....basically it is next week...suppose to be studying but err~ I haven't update my blog for quite awhile...busy, busy, busy...our lecturers thinks it is fun to torture us by dumping assignments that will be assess for our course on the last month of the semester...geee... every week sure got some assignment that must be completed one... so, here I am typing away...to finally updated my blog...
Gee...I going miss my psy lecturer, Dr. Goh and his *placebo affect*, lecturing us in the AE1 at *god forbid* 10am every tues and *yawns* 4pm in the evening...His lctures are always so interesting and I learned quite a few new things that I can apply in my life...such as never ever take ppl for granted and it is natural to feel guilty after we done something bad~shows us that we are still human beings... I know he still lectures other psy sub but I seriously doubt that I will be taking another psy course again....even though psy is so interesting (& not to forget that I got so high for my mid-term psy exam= 86% ~woohooo!!! ;p hahaha~expression of college frens who is majoring in psy= *stares at paper, looks 0.O what! what! what! Jasmine got so high!!!!! ehehe~ Evon= wai...you so blur in bio somemore majoring in biotech...i think we should trade majors...then you major in psy >.<"), it is really quite a *stressful* sub, most of my workload actually comes from psy~gee...that reminds me, I still have a psy report, I have yet to start on...ehehe~
I had a blast in college today...here's a brief summary of what went out throughout my day~
10am- *yawns* rushed to college for com lecture...Mini overslept...*shocking*, and Aqilah overslept...*lar~biasalar* (Qiqi lala~ don't deny it you always tend to skip com lecture ;p) ...rushed to do the exercise given by the lecturer who then brief us on the finals format...gee he purposely want to scared us~saying that we need to draw daigrams and there will be short-ended questions coming out....all I know about my com class is that all my test and quizes are open-book test...which means our textbooks are open right in front of us and we will be discussing the answers with our friends...haha~not exactly what you called a typical test~
10.30am-ooops~com class is basically over for us as we finished our exercise...study psy... *finals coming soon mah~* 12.30am-finally the rain has stopped....walked to the HP tower for lunch...*oh where, oh where is Aqilah....??? wonder if she decided to skip last day of college...hehehe* (basically, all ADP students have a breaktime between 12pm til 2pm...normally there will be some activities taking place...but as finals are just around the corner and as this is sort of the last day of college...~
2.15-2.30pm-rushed to Bio lecture...our darling bio lecturer,Ms. Parimala...told us she was going to let us of early as there is nothing more to teached and wanted to show us our marks for our lab test...she called out everyone's name one by one...the person who's name was called out was to walked to the front where our lecturer was and our lecturer would show her the paper with the marks we got...basically we did not get back our papers, but we manage to still a brief look at it...My name was the 1st to be called out...I was seriously jittery about looking at my marks...but when I say my paper~I was so estastic~A perfect 5!!!!!!!!!hehehe...Evon was called after that and she got a 5 too...Shih Ying took one look at our beaming faces and said "Go to hell..." hahaha~dat's Shih Ying for you...blunt as always...her name was called out then...and she got a perfect 5 too~haha...we were honestly so happy...as Shih Ying told Evon and me that she will meet us in 'hell'...ehehe...we were talking and laughing so loud that the lecturer had to hush us...
2.45pm-went and hang around at lvl 4 to wait for our next class which was at 4pm...Shih Ying ended up showing me some pics on jap manga...and we started talking non-stop about it...haha~ Aqilah...finally arrived...wanted to surprise me by poking me at the side...but it didn't work... 'coz I was to intense on talking with Shih Ying...hahaha~ 4pm til 6pm-went inside AE1 for psy class...whew...everyone's inside there...hmmm...Dr. Goh not there...Stephanie, Li Wen, Michelle, Jocelyn, and Alexa came on over to our place...I swear we were the most noisiest group in the class....talking, joking and laughing like crazy, crazy people... *I think everyone is probably damn happy as it is the last class of the semester...~^^* Dr. Goh was slightly late...and everyone had a difficult time of settling down to concertrate on his lectures... his lectures were interesting as usual...~ and before I knew it, it was already 6pm...Dr. Goh wish us all luck for our upcoming finals and dismiss us...Most of us rushed to the toilet...hahaha~ couldn't help it... I am seriously going to miss all the crazy ethics of my college friends and how we chat, joke and laugh.... hahaha~ after finals is one long after-sem break...and then it is back to college in Oct for my 3rd sem...ahh~the hassle of registering for subjects again...can't wait for that
6pm til 10pm-went straight home and had dinner~Chris Lau called after that...unfortunately he seems to be in an 'adventurous mood' and wants to go to OU to check out some stuff...seeing that I did not want to be stuck at home~bored...I went...Instead of just a short trip....it turn out to be long trip...walking back and forth...seriously~going out with him is like taking an exercise... He also had a really insane idea to go for the countdown at the Curve...but with the traffic so bad...we finally ended up turning the car around... Basically, here I am now...typing away this post while wacthing the fireworks in my cosy bedroom~ Btw, HAPPY MERDEKA'S DAY, EVERYONE!!!!!
ps: don't expect a update anytime soon...finals are next week...got so much to study...yikes!!! |

Fun-Filled Day!!!

Haha...I had a enjoyable day yesterday...full of laughter...it started out like this...went to OU at 3pm to get the tics for Pirates of the Carribean 2...got tics at tgv...went shopping myself...found a nice skirt I like...will definitely come back to OU and get it ^^
Anyway, waited for Juls to arrive from college...and went to the cinema to see the movie!!!!!! My goodness, the movie was just so funny...Juls and I were one of the loudest people laughing in the cinema...I haven't laugh this loud in a cinema since watching the Pink Panther...All the scenes involving all the 'rolling'...haha so hilarious...!!! ^^ Oh yes, Juls and I were the last two to get of of the cinema 'coz we decided to wait for a scene involving the dog after the credits...Boy, was it worth it...and yea we were the last two in the cinema...the cleaning crew had was even there cleaning away while we were waiting for that particular final scene...I won't mind going for the movie again to have another round of laughter...it is seriously worth the money you are paying for the tics!!!
Pssss: My grandma from NY is back in M'sia...she bought loads of goodies along with her...loads of designer clothing (designer clothing in US= cheap compare to M'sia!!), loads of perfumes samples, a nice watch for me...^^ |

Random Acts of kindness can keep one's spirit up...

Oh-uh...It's Wednesday...that means today is the day that I so dreads... The day of my Psy exam!!!!! Oh boy...thank god all of us finish our assignment at com class asap...Class starts at 10am and we were all out of the class at 10.30am...study 'til 12pm...went to eat at the food court at the Hp building... decided to skip Bio tutorial...head straight for the library and study psy 3 and a half hours there...I think everyone also had the same idea as the library was full of psy students...At 10 minutes to 4pm...all of us trudged up to the exam hall... The exam started late...around 4.20pm...hmmm...the paper wasn't so bad...I managed to finish my obj questions and my quiz-like questions in an hour...and that leaves just an hour more for my essay question...gee...I took my own sweet time with my essay question...and finished it the same time the examiner says 'time's up' ^^' then got bombarded by college friends...on why your essay so long one...why so slow one you do...(sweadrops) yea...was the 2nd last one to finished the papers...most of my friends already finished the paper half and hour before the time was up...gee...
haha...I guess...my spirits was boosted today thanks to 2 random acts of kindness people gave me...the first one being when the guard stopped us to check our student id...she offered to help me carried my books...so I could look through my bag and try to find where I kept my student id...the 2nd was when the librarian...check our stuff before we left the library and noticed that we were all sitting for our psy exam...wishing us the best of luck and advising us not to panic during the exam...
all in all it was not a bad day...I was thinking that my psy paper wasn't so bad... after all...great...now all that is left is my psy report to go...out with one...in comes another one...well...better get started on it!!! |

The Start of a beautiful week...NOT!!!!

Hmmm...isn't such going be a start of a wonderful week when one b'day is today???...I think not...not if you were in my place...let me enlighten you why...
1)there's a Bio topic test tomorrow...(Tuesday) and I have yet to study!!! Damn...
2) Psy mid-term exam on Wed...the day after my Bio test...Yikes!!!! (sighs...Psy is the only subject I know that has a mid-term exam)
3) Psy report due next Friday...and I haven't even begin!!!!!!
4) Eng research assignment...have yet to conduct our interviews and survey... We are suppose to be tabulating the results now...
5) The greatest insult of all....Evon just had to give me a pair of kissing pigs... on my b'day (to my chagrin...Evon, HOW COULD YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)...aahh well at least it's not pink...
All in all...It's going to be a oh-so wonderful week....not!!!

Here's basically what happen to me after the movie fest and before my b'day...
18/6 - mwahaha...Juls have a extra free tic...to watch 'Cars' with her family ^^ add that with a free drink and popcorn set...and that is a definitely a must-go to watch 'Cars' again...but this time in a different location...the 'super new' cinemas ( Cathay Pacific) located near the Curve...It was fun!!!!!!! After that, we all went to OU for lunch (A&W *drools* rootbeer floats and 'yummy yummy' coney dogs)...and did a lil' window shopping there...and basically reached home around 5 something...
19/6 - hmmm...according to my organizer...nothing happen in this particular day...but I did attend lectures....
20/6 - Woo-hoo!!!!!!!! the good:Psy lecture class canceled!!!!!!!!! No weekly quizs!!!!!No rushing to college for 10am class today!!!!!!! ^^ the bad: *sighs* staying back in college for an extra half and hour every Wednesday 'til July... the worst : Wed psy lectures are at 4-5.30pm...which means having to stay back 'til 6pm in college....haihz...
21/6 - had a com Quiz and it was the deadline to hand up my lab report (which I finished the day before)
24/6 - Juls called; inviting me to go for our ex-school's IU day...I couldn't as I was currently on my way to Low Yat Plaza to go laptop hunting with my dad ^^
0.o Loads of laptops there...everywhere I go I see Acer.....After hours of hunting, I finally narrow it down to two...

or  IBM Thinkpad R51E The winner : the M-life 540W... The reason: it was more cheaper than the thinkpad...and it has a camera~ ^^
25/6 - Went for dim-sum today at the Federal Hotel...after that went and collect my laptop~ ^^
6/7 - Went for a movie marathon with Juls...from morning til evening...watch 'Take The Lead' and 'Superman Returns'......luv the dancing movies in 'Take The Lead'...hate the ending for 'Superman Returns'....
