Tung Lok @ Orchard Central

Went for the lunch buffet yesterday and honestly,it's overrated. The variety wasn't as impressive as I thought and some of the food just wasn't all that fantastic.

Alas, it's the company that matters (: thanks for the treat my dear colleagues. (:

And cheap thrills are what I'm after recently.

Late night

Somehow it feels weird to leave the house at 7plus when the sky is dark. It feels like I've forgotten smth, it feels like there's danger lurking somewhere. I don't like to miss the transition of day to night.

Hennessy Artistry 2010

This year, we managed to get tickets into one of the most sought-after party of the year where many international and local talents get to showcase their stuff. The global art of mixing, well-said.

The performances that night were crazy awesome! DJ KoFlow started out with some crazy remixes. Though there was a technical glitch at the start but it didn't dampen the mood in any way. Instead, when the music started, the crowd went wild!

DJ KoFlow on his 4-disc turntables! Crazy man! No wonder they call him the GrandMaster.

Turntable, four disc even! The bf and I are impressed beyond words. The level of control and the intricate mixing, dope! And then there's the other local talent, pioneer beatboxer Dharni. I brought the bf there hoping he'd be inspired by the different genre of music we get to hear and of course, to hear Dharni's beats. I don't think we were disappointed. (:

I managed to drag pris and her HTB down to the party. Initially, it was a two-man affair since I only managed to get my hands on one pair of tickets via Twitter.


Subsequently, Pris got tempted too and managed to win herself a pair, via FB.

So, there you have it. A double-date. But felt kind of bad since the music they were playing wasn't her cup of tea. so, thanks babe! For coming down still (:

Hennessy Artistry, the global art of mixing. I walk away from the party, not drunk nor wasted, but more inspired than ever before. I'm not a chiongster, honestly, but club remixes never fails to impress me. Its where I get to hear the craziest remixes, transition beats, smooth grooves. Sigh, I'm in love with music.

Went to Hennessy Artistry on Friday. It was an awesome night. The DJs were crazy! So were the rappers and Dharni.

Drop by Jam Vol. 1 by Music Garage on Saturday. Didn't stay for long 'cux was bound for DblO at 930. But did managed to take a snapshot of the bf and had a quick meal at the cafe in YMCA.

Long Weekend

Despite my complains about there being no diff between a three day and A two day weekend, I still had a pretty eventful one and I'm glad (:

Met the almighty Matthew and awesome bf for dinner on Thursday. (yea, I know it was a eat-with-family day but we already had this planned out quite some time ago so blame it on bad publicity on the govt's side). Matthew got lost on his way to meet us so we hanged around Esplanade to wait for him.

Nope, not Matthew.

Ah, there he is! The blur king was calling Charles and looking around for us when we were staring blatantly at him.

Went for dinner@Ichiban Boshi before going over to MOF for dessert!

Friday was spend doing up a photo for the Fujitsu Netbook Giveaway and then movie in the evening. (: the bf n I are both WOLS.

Sat, the bf again! Yayyyy. And then met tube (spontaneous is always fun!) in the night for some void deck moments before heading back to his house where he proceed to explain to the bf what FTP and hosting your server is, and explaining to me what quick mask is.

Sunday: Dance was awesome. I love the new pace! Faster and more sleek. Yeaaaaa.
