It's about time!

Yes, it has been a long time since I blogged. But, I've been busy painting -- again! I love doing it and I love seeing the results. Here's a sneak peek of Sarah & Breanna's room. The princess bedspreads they used to have were looking a little ragged so I got these cute polka dot ones at Target. I decided to repaint their purple room. It was just too purple. Now we have a lighter green on top and a darker green stripe. Soon to come -- chair rail to divide the two, pink, green and purple polka dots in the white stripe, and crown molding. So excited!

My sister is having her first baby -- a girl. She liked what I was doing in the girls' room and wanted it for her nursery. For her baby shower, I made her a valance, a bedskirt, and a quilt (with the help of my mom) in the cutest material that she picked out.

So cute! See how nicely all the polka dots match! She will have chair railing as well. Should be installed today or tomorrow, since she's due next week!

I love to paint! It's so fun to see something you create turn out so stinkin' cute! I'm so glad I could do it for my sister!
