I spent 2days in taipei. We went shopping at SHI DA night market. They sell very trendy apparels/ bags and shoes. And not forgetting the taiwan delicacies. i bought a whole lot of instant noodles which are my all time favourite! Actually taiwan has simlar service standards as japan. i must say i love the warmth in the salespersons there. for instance, i was in a shop selling hair accessories, and the salesman was so welcoming i couldnt resist in buying. he did some demostration on styling my hair, and offered to do a nice hairdo for me before i continue shopping for the rest of the day. thumbs up!

a taiwanese girl told me, their slogan for service is exceed the needs of the customers. =D even if the customer never make any purchase, they still manage to create a smile on the customer's face when she/he leaves the shop.
