Shooting my Aquarium

Workflow:

1.  Copying whole compressed avchd mts files of 2.94GB took approx. 45mins.

2.  "Log and Trasnfer" in FCP took approx. 30mins and resulted to uncompressed files of 15.04GB.

Pheew..  

Video captured in HD 108060i FX mode (highest)

Machine:  iMac 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 2GB memory

Final Cut Pro 7.0

Hmm  I wanna get the MacPro eh..  :-D

Avchd workflow

Working with AVCHD *.mts files

1.  Copy mts files.
2.  Convert mts to mov file via Toast Titanium 10.

3.  Only then can work with FCP.


Haven't been able to use ProRes Codec on my FCP.
