CJC Sports Carnival 2007

Ahhh once again it's the annual sports carnival. T17 took part in Frisbee, Captain's Ball, and most importantly Softball.

What pisses me off isn't the loss we had in frisbee and captain's ball, it was the loss in softball which was seriously unreasonable. We are supposed to be in the softball semi-finals fighting against T23 and T24. But because of some dumb fuck score recording and some pulling of strings of a certain class, the won we had with them became a draw causing us to be not able to play in the semi-finals. When the fuck have you seen a softball/baseball game that ends with a draw? If the score is tied, which rarely is, the game would be extended an extra inning or so, so that the winner can be determined.

Honestly, we had the chance to get Top 2 in school. Fuck them, where did all the school values gone to? in Veritate et Caritate? Where is the integrity? Fuck.

Anyways, we all had fun this time at the sports carnival. Last year we didn't have a chance to play any games because of our seniors, but this year we pwn! I still remember the 59-1 pwnage we had with another class in softball.

After all the sports and games, the guys went to Beauty World to have lunch at prata before playing lan. I must really say Mun Kit is some 1337 gamer, I didn't know he had a team/clan which took part in DOTA competitions before. He is just imba.

Life Sucks

Everything that heads my way seems to go wrong. In school, outside school, well basically everything.

I want to study hard. Really I do, but I just can't seem to get things started unless there is really nothing to do. There is the PC at home, which is damn addictive. It is the gateway to all entertainment; TV Shows (Heroes etc...), Games (BF2142, WoW, Company of Heroes etc...).

Woah today was one hell of a long day.

School ended at three, after which most of the guys headed down to the grand stand to train our softball. To be honest, playing for the first time, we're pretty good at it. We just got to work on our pitching as well batting. We got chased all over the place to play our small game, from the grand stand, to the field, to further away on the field, then finally Mr Michael Tan ended everything by telling us to keep the equipment. What's up with that?

We took a cab down to Jason's place for our very first Chemistry tuition as a group. Our Chemistry tutor, Kathy who just graduated from ACJC, wasn't that bad as we thought she would be. Her explanations were detailed, linking most topics in Organic Chemistry and finally clearing previous doubts I had about it.

After all that studying and stuff, the four of us had some fun playing Gears of War on the Xbox360, damn it was good! Especially that ion gun shit which blasted me into bits and pieces.

It's Official - Universal Orlando Announces BTTF Ride Closure Date

March 30, 2007 Last Day for Time Travel Volunteers


After a number of rumored closure dates have come and gone, Universal Orlando has finally decided to call it quits and made it official: March 30, 2007 will be the very last day that Back to the Future...The Ride will be open for time travel.

We've heard more rumors & reports over the past six months than we can count, none of which we could verify with anyone at Universal since everyone at Universal we talked to didn't seem to know what was going on either. So we've remained mum on the subject since there's been nothing official until now.

Efforts to save the attraction have fallen on deaf ears, as have efforts to bring the national DeLorean Car Show to the park in the summer of 2010 to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Back to the Future with a cast reunion. It all seems so pointless now.

While there's not been any official word yet from Universal Studios Hollywood, we understand from various internal sources that the attraction there will soon face the very same fate.

Is this the end of an era, or just the closing of one chapter in the BTTF saga? One can only hope that someone, somewhere in the top brass at the studios has something clever up their sleeve in regards to this property and all of this will begin making sense soon. But I'm not holding my breath...

Rockafellaskank 3

Well its the annual Rockafella concert held in CJC again, but somehow this year felt a lot much better than the one before. We had the chance to mosh around like mad people and also screaming our lungs out. The most unexpected band to perform so well was The Vacuum Cleaners, they did Tenacious D - A Tribute and they overwhelemed the audience with their weird dance moves as well as their awesome vocalist James.

Caesura played M.I.A and Dying In Your Arms. Mella as usual was damn cock hahaha, totlly engrossed playing his guitar. Sarah did awesome, great singing. Ronald played damn like a pro. Seriously I think their band will definitely make it far.

Mella's Birthday & West Grand Boulevard @ HRC

Today is Mella's birthday and I think for once the class celebrated someone's birthday together. Had lots of trouble getting Mella his present, a Fossil belt, as the group of us are always hanging out together. Well his birthday didn't end after all the cake smashing and taupok in school. After school we went to Cafe Cartel at Cineleisure, before deciding to chill at Heru's crib. Had tons of fun watching Snakes on a Plane, with all the weird snake bitings.

At night after a very last minute decision, we met up at Hard Rock Cafe to catch West Grand Boulevard playing. Here are some pictures from S.O.F.T to end off the day. Enjoy!

X-Country 2007

This year's cross country wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Dragonforce was a major boost to my speed; the guitars and drums are freaking fast. Managed to come in under 27 minutes but obviously not top 20. Kenneth Ho was the lucky 20th J2 boy. Hahahah and he broke his first medal won in CJ. Noobcakes.

After the run, the bunch of us went to Prata House at Thomson. No, not the one with the big yellow signboard "Roti Prata House". It was the one opposite which is smaller but the food is much worth it.

The bus ride home with Justin was full of thrash haha but 'enriching'. And I can only say that I'm DAMN DUMB. LOL. Time to study for Chemistry SPA Skill A, Physics test and do finish my Vectors Tutorial.

Went with Mella, Sarah, Kenneth, Heru and his friends to watch the football match between Singapore and Thailand at the National Stadium right after our trainings.

Singapore scored the first goal in the first half with a beautiful shot to the right of the net with a left footer. Then Thailand made their comeback in the second half by scoring an equalizer. Both teams lasted until there was 5 mins+ left in the game, when a penalty shot was given to Singapore after Thailand committed a foul in the penalty box. Team Thailand was so pissed off that they walked off the pitch for over 10 mins! What a bunch of fucking losers. So yeah thank god after the long wait, which was filled with jeering and cheering, Singapore scored the winning goal.

School has been hectic ever since it started. Hockey was excruciating as usual, combined with mass PE it becomes hell.

I just watched Little Miss Sunshine and though the movie doesn't have that WOW factor as normal hollywood films would give, but I can say that these independent movie productions allows me to think deep and ponder about life.

Been playing BF2142 for quite awhile now and a really good clan called Bf.Nut has given me an opportunity to join them. The only thing holding me back would be mainly my studies, I can't afford to fuck up my A Levels. I'm given 1 week to consider their offer, so yeah I have to start planning and thinking.

First Day Back in School

Well I didn't sleep last night, maybe because I wasn't tired or I was just too excited about going back to school. Looking at the faces of the new J1s as I stepped into school reminded me of the time when I was like them, waiting at the bus stop for our friends to arrive or just simply feeling lost.

Met up with Jason and Winson in the morning, kinda surprising to see Winson actually got his head shaved like Jason lol. Could be a new trend rofl!

First few periods was a bore. Anyways, the timetable wasn't that bad for us, except for Justin because of his Chinese "B" which makes him end at 5pm almost everyday. Messed up. We had 2 breaks today, so we decided to play cards to make up for the games missed during the holidays. And as boys we did our "2007 Talent Search", walking around school, looking and talking about the new J1 girls. Honestly this batch is pretty bad, but it's interesting when the ratio of girls is more than boys. Saw a couple of CHIJ girls sitting around the round table in the canteen. Pretty hawt. One even had eyeliner and lipstick zomg.

Last Day of the Holidays

Tomorrow will be the first day of school and I must say I can't wait to see the hot new J1s coming in. Well that's what I hope will happen.

Today I went out with George to get a birthday present for Sherilyn, a girl from hockey, and I was totally sucked in by the shop assistant in Queen's Couture. So under her influence I bought a $45 shirt that looked pretty cute. After George left, I wandered around abit while waiting for Xiang to arrive.

Finally met him after quite a while, now he's wearing braces and complaining about the uber pain lol. So yeah we met at Far East Plaza and Xiang bought a new set of trucks and wheels for his skateboard, and a couple of tees. I would like to thank Xiang for buying me one of those cool looking shirts as a late christmas present. I'll make sure I get him one when he's back in April, before he enlists for National Service in July rofl. The day ended off after getting pwned by Xiang in Dota at E2max. Good luck for your exams Xiang!

Spending the New Year at home is not a first for me, I think I got used to it.

Well here comes my resolution list for 2007:

1) Reduce the amount of computer usage.
2) Less trouble in school.
3) Study my ass off for "A" Levels.
4) Help out more with house work.
