Next Level Embossing Folders

We are Memory Keepers Next Level embossing folders.
I purchased them at Amazon.com

I got some new deep embossing folders so of course I wanted to try them out.
I made these two masculine cards this morning.
The blue card is for a teenage boy and the brown card is for an older gentleman.
I was happy with the way they turned out.
Enjoy!!!

Scrappy Background and Flower

In a Facebook group I am in, the weekend challenge
was make a card using scraps.
I adhered the scraps to cardstock and
then ran it through the Big Shot
to give it some texture.
I colored the flower with Spectrum Noir markers.
I heat embossed the sentiment.

I thought it was kind of busy, but when I looked at
it over and over, it did not seem so!

Napkin cards for gifts

I made this set of napkin cards to give as a thank you
gift for a friend.
I like them so well I decided to make some more
sets to give as Christmas gifts.

Just Saying Hello

I learned this technique years ago and was playing around
with it again today.  I used glossy paper and heat embossed the ferns
in clear.  I then colored over them with distress ink.  I wiped off the
ferns of any ink and residue with a paper towel.  I added a bow and
a sentiment and all done!
The sentiment and ferns are all from Hero Arts.

Double Stamping

My friend Jan let me borrow some of her stamps to play with.
This set was a double time stamp set.
I stamped the flowers in yellow and then stamped them again in black.
It was a fun card to make although I could not
use my MISTI as these stamps were wood mounted.

Thanks Jan for letting me borrow them,
I had fun making this card!

Yard Sale Goodies

I went to a garage sale that was full of crafts.
I got 8 Stampin Up Sets, 6 clings stamps,
5 wood mount stamps and 6 paper packs.
All for under $25!

The story is when the girl that was having the sale moved into her house,
all these crafts were left in the basement by the previous owner.
The lady that left them must have been a hoarder because you should
have seen what was at that sale!  All kinds of scrapbook and stamp
supplies, too many to mention.

The girl that owns the house does not craft and just wanted that
stuff out of her basement, so she sold it cheap.

I sure benefited!!!

Thank you cards

My girlfriend Kim asked me to make her some thank you cards
to send to friends after her father's passing.  She asked me to make them elegant
but simple.  I thought these would fit the bill.
I used a Taylored Expressions die and the sentiment
is from Stampin Up.
