Hi everyone!

I was randomly doing a google search for "pink kate spade" and this was what appeared.

ALL PINK! As i scrolled down, i see more and more pink kate spades. aaaaaahhhhhh......heavenly. You have no idea how I felt at that moment. I should say, euphoric isn't a strong enough word.

While scrolling, I saw a pair of GORGEOUS Kate Spade Clarice HOT PINK satin open toe heels. soooooo lovely! I have to get one of these but i doubt they're available.

I have no idea why I'm so obsessed with pink things. I can't seem to remember when I started obsessing over pink. I remember though that I was only moderately liking the colour pink back in secondary school. I guess the love between us intensified over the years. AND the good thing is, I unintentionally (alright, maybe a little intentional) influenced Siti Nurhanis (wait, maybe it's just the power I have over her that influenced her). So if you observe her since secondary school, she's turned from a full-fledged green monster to a pink princess. TEEHEEE

But you see, it just can't be helped. Pink things are just too lovely, especially PINK KATE SPADES. I will always impulsively get a pink one when I know I have to stop buying pink since the rest of my wardrobe needs a bag too. I'm trying to get a black kate spade which fits all my stuff but I haven't seen any I really love yet. Hope it'll come soon!

Oh and my favourite gossip girl, Leighton Maester even carried one on set in which one of the seasons. I think it was in season 2. She was carrying a Kate Spade Little Compton Sossity Bag. So gorgeous!

Pink + Kate Spade = EVERLASTING LOVE

Surprised to see me updating?

I was surprised at myself too actually. But I thought, it's about time I started updating again before school officially starts.

Ramadhan this year has been meaningful. Caught up with alot of people at many places. My birthday was also an extremely meaningful one this year. Many surprises, many new experiences, Alhamdulillah.

So to date, we are at the last stretch of our race in this blessed month of Ramadhan. But I feel that time flew too fast. I haven't gotten enough of Ramadhan, but yet, we're down to the last 9 days. The last 10 days. The sacred night Lailatul Qadar. The night with more blessings than a thousand months. Subhanallah.
"Whoever stands in (Prayer) in Lailatul-Qadr out of Eemaan and seeking reward then his previous sins are forgiven." (Bukhari)
Let's strive towards Lailatul Qadr, and Insya Allah, may we get the barakah from Lailatul Qadr. Amin.

May we always be in the best state of Iman and health. Amin

I feel so blessed and really happy today.

Hanistarrrrrrr slept over at nyai's since we had to reach MOE HQ at Buona Vista at 0900h. Was extremely sleepy this morning. Kept yawning while waiting for her to finish the briefing. Afterwards, we made an impromptu decision to watch Inception. OMG, it's the awesome-est movie ever. So deep, complexed and intelligent. TWO THUMBS UP! I was literally at the edge of my seat. It was a pleasant movie experience since there were really little people watching. I guess since it's a weekday and that it was screened since awhile back.

After the movie, we went shoe shopping! These were what we ended up buying. Hold your breath okay?

I bought a HOT PINK Puma L.I.F.T Racer ((((:

And Hanis bought a Puma Jantis and an...... (GUESS WHAT?)
ADIZERO AEGIS!

OMG RIGHT? i knowwwwwwww. She bought 2 to prepare for her Contract Teaching for Dip in PE next year (Yes, she got into NIE, Alhamdulillah.) We feel sooo happy now. 'Cos we bought them at 70% discount. Lovely, i know.

Alhamdulillah. Syukur Ya Allah for answering our prayers.

SELAWAT KE ATAS BAGINDA RASULULLAH S.A.W

Rasulullah S.A.W telah bersabda bahwa, "Malaikat Jibril, Mikail, Israfil dan Izrail A.S. telah berkata kepadaku.

Berkata Jibril A.S. : "Wahai Rasulullah, barang siapa yang membaca selawat ke atasmu tiap-tiap hari sebanyak sepuluh kali, maka akan saya bimbing tangannya dan akan saya bawa dia melintasi titian seperti kilat menyambar."

Berkata pula Mikail A.S. : "Mereka yang berselawat ke atas kamu akan aku beri mereka itu minum dari telagamu."

Berkata pula Israfil A.S.

Subhanallah, reading this made me tear.

AMIN

Haven't been doing anything much lately. Spent most of my time on facebook playing baking life, restaurant city and hotel city. I swear i'm becoming some gaming geek. But the thing is, i really don't know how to fill my time cos until now, i haven't gotten a driving instructor yet. Recommendations anyone?

If i don't spend my time lazing around, I'd be out shopping or eating, doing something mindless for that matter. I really pity my brain since I hardly exercise them anymore. Apart from reading and attending apex and pergas, I do nothing to work this organ of mine. Ohgod, slacking does crazy things to your body.

Nothing eventful happened lately, apart from my brother's birthday at Carousel. Was just a celebratory lunch and I ate my fill and tried raw crayfish. I was pleased that I was able to shell the crayfish perfectly, haha cheap thrill.

I know this is really incoherent because my brain's refusing to work with me. One thing I'm certain about is that I'm craving for MacDonald's Cinnamon Melts, which in fact I just had 3 days ago at the airport. So i really cannot afford to spend another 460calories on that. (This is a monologue, mind you. I'm trying to convince myself). But omg just looking at the photo is tempting enough.
Okay, thats all. I really hope I can stay away from McCafe and resist the temptation to get my hands on the sinful treat which would cost me 460calories. I really doubt I can resist, but we'll see about that.

Ice skating today was fun. We came at 11, which was the perfect time cos they weren't many people yet so we had ample space to skate and speed. Siti Nurhanis is the perfect partner for the job 'cos she's quite a pro at skating, so when i got tired/too lazy to skate, she pulled me round the rink. We didn't fall today, which was great. So we imitated the kids who were training and went around bullying kids and pitying the people who had to skate around the barricade. It was alot fun.

The only bad thing was that the skates stinked too much. Yknow I had always wanted to get my own skates but I only skate once-twice a year, most of the time at Sunway Ice Palace during my annual kl trip, so it's not worth it unless i take up ice skating and be the first hijabi to figure skate (ehhh, maybe i should ah) but i need funds and besides, i've got alot of other things to accomplish in life. Skating is just for leisure.

After which, we met clarice in between her work and had lunch. Headed home after that 'cos we were really really sleepy for some reason.

Will upload the photos soon!

(Actually, I have had many more adventures for the past few days/weeks like how we travelled and ran just to get coffee bean 1-for-1 breakfast at city square and our hilarious encouter with an angmoh at mustafa centre and meeting with tiq and her pretty pretty souvenir but i'm just too lazy to update, sorry hehe)

HELLO WORLD!

Sorry for being dormant. I just got back from Kota Kinabalu in the evening. It's a nice journey with picturesque scenery but it's tiring. I feel really sleepy now (since 5pm actually). And I think I have to clear my sleep debts soon.

DAY 1 AGENDA: SHOPPING!

So on Friday the 11th, we made our way to the airport at 600h to catch our 800h flight. Yknow why we like to check in early? Because I love duty free shopping! Hehe, my mom, sister, and I bought a Braun Buffel wallet/cardcase (photo below) each because they were cheaper than they usually are.

Saw this gorgeous golden bag from Braun Buffel's Enchante collection. Was really really tempted to get it but I didnt have sing dollars with me (purposely didnt bring so my mom can pay for me, hehe). I dont know how much it costs, but the handphone case alone costs 100plus. I shall dream about getting it for now.

So we reached KKIA at about 11plus after a 2hr15min flight. We had airport transfer waiting for us (yknow when you go to the airport, you see people holding up pieces of paper with people's names on it at the arrival hall? yes, thats for aiport transfer/if you're following their tour itinerary). So yes, we had a van waiting for us. Now for the epic part. The slider just wouldnt budge. So the driver was trying very hard to open the slider. I think he was at it for about 10mins or so? But finally it opened. The same thing happen when we reached the hotel, but now, we were in the van, not outside. But thank god the slider opened after abit of prying from the driver and the bellboy. So the rest of the day was retail therapy. Actually, there's not many things ah. Cos the inside of the shopping mall (called Centrepoint) looks like Far East and it's quite dirty, and it's filled with many many people. Even though they speak in malay, their accent is really different, they sound like Filipinos so we can barely understand anything they say. Oh and yes, their day starts and ends earlier, even though it's the same time as sg. The sun rises at 6am and sets at about 1830h. Subuh is at 430plus (so imagine what time i have to wake up). The photo below was taken at about 1800plus h.

DAY 2 AGENDA: Poring Hot Springs and Kinabalu Park

Woke up at 4plus. Tour guide waited at the lobby at 810h to bring us to Poring Hot Springs and Kinabalu Park. The Poring Hot Springs is actually a Japanese style open concept bath. It's located to the south of Mt Kinabalu and is 456m above sea level. Kinabalu Park is the entrance to Mount Kinabalu and it's originally opened for research purposes. It's 1585m above sea level. FYI Mt Kinabalu is 4095m above sea level. The trip is 3h from the Kota Kinabalu and it's a really really bumpy trip because the whole trip, we were travelling from peak to peak to get to Kinabalu Park/Poring Hot Springs. We stopped by the Poring Hot Springs first even though it was further than the Kinabalu Park. We didnt dip into the Hot spring cos there were many many people around. Instead, we went trekking (like staircase training to me) and went for the Canopy Walk.
Recall from Geography that there were different layers to the tropical rainforest, and one of which is the canopy layer with trees which are 30-45m tall. Yes, the canopy walk was 41m high, so it's quite a height, especially for those who are afraid of heights.

Picture of us on the Canopy Walk
After that, it was close to an hour's journey to Kinabalu Park. But the sad thing was, we couldnt walk around because it was raining so we had to rush back to the city cos according to the tour guide, the floods are really really bad when it rains. He said there was this group which reached the city at 2300h because of the floods (Note: We reached at about 1700h). I was really sad we didnt get to walk around. But the visibility is greatly reduced during the rain cos we were at cloud level and there were many many clouds around so it was a whitewash around us, so the drive down was kinda dangerous but that didnt deter the driver from speeding down. I was feared for our lives, really. He was going at 100plus km/h round the bends downhill.

The picture below: Mt Kinabalu taken on the way down. Many clouds such that the peak is no longer visible (Compare with the first picture in the beginning of the post)

Reached the hotel, washed up and went out for dinner. Most of the shops in Karamunsing Complex were closed. Guess what time we were there? At 1900h, and the shops were closed. Really depressing sight for a shoppaholic. We ate at kfc and they still use plates to serve, how environmentally friendly. Walked around after that to lose some calories, and bought clothes. I was so happy. Because the shop, which was conveniently located beside kfc, and was still opened, sells maxi dresses (my fave). A maxi dress only costs rm39. So I bought 3. Awesome rightt. I was sooo happy cos I didnt buy anything else for myself from KK (excluding the too-sweet hazelnut choc chip crepe and cup corn I bought).

Picture: The Palace Hotel which is located atop a hill

DAY 3 AGENDA: HOME!

Nothing much happened. Made our way to the airport. Saw Allan Wu (actually i stood about 3cm away from him at the ticketing counter cos they were checking in beside us) with the Amazing Race camera crew and Nat Ho, the captain in Polo Boys (they were travelling separately). Didnt take photos with them though even though I bumped into them many many times. Oh they were taking the same plane back as us to SG. Nat Ho was nice, he smiled at us. He looks more down to earth and more natural, Allan macam too guarded, macam obvious dia tengah maintain handsome sebab ramai orang kenal dia, so tak natural. Anyways, the flight back was abit bumpy cos it was very very cloudy. Luckily, it only started raining after we've touched down, or else it would have been worst.

Interesting, no? (: Will upload the whole album on facebook when it decides to work with me. 'Cos I got many 'Upload failed' after waiting for it to load. -.-
