Ah Ma

Yesterday marks the 49th day since Grandma's passing... 12 July 2013 At 5pm, just when I’m all prepared to knock off and let my hair down on a Friday night.. I received a devastating news from mum. Mum called to inform that my paternal grandma had passed away. This is the first time I’m receiving such news concerning a close family member. I do not know how to react to it and I just cried. I am not close to her, I only visit her twice a year, on CNY eve for reunion dinner and on CNY day 1 to ‘bai nian’. Yet, my tears just roll down non-stop for that night. Tears filled with regrets. I regret not visiting her at the hospital. The next 5 days were spent at her wake. Each time I looked at her, my tears just flow. Can't believe that she's gone just like that. Lying motionlessly there. During these 5 days, colleagues and friends came to express their condolences. Appreciated it. :)  On the 5th day, we went through some ritual and sent her off on her last journ...

of infidelity

Source: http://www.futurescopes.com/taurus/2028/dating-taurus-woman-when-you-fall-love-taurean-girl Loyalty is a crucial requirement for a Taurus to be happy in a romantic relationship. They are staunch lovers and once settled into a relationship will be comfortably monogamous for practically the rest of their lives. However being faithful themselves, they also expect the same level of commitment from their partners. In their book of relationships, infidelity is crime number one . So if you like a bit of harmless flirting on the side, make sure you know what you are doing.  This tendency to put great counter on loyalty can also make a Taurus extremely possessive.  If you are dating a Taurus woman as well as have a bevy of girlfriends from the past, decide which you want to keep. It is not in the nature of a Taurus to be able to share a partner with others, especially with those of the opposite sex. As a result, a Taurus may at times give way to intense bouts of j...

My first and last trip to Vietnam

As mentioned in my previous entry, I was robbed in Vietnam . District 1 in Ho Chi Minh City to be precise. It was a nasty experience especially with all the language barrier and unhelpful locals who are so used to these crimes. Hence, I won’t have many pictures for this entry.. just a few from my mobile phone and a handful from my Sony Cybershot. I brought my small digital camera with me on top of my bulky micro 4/3 as I thought it will be more handy and as for my Olympus EPL1 (PEN), I thought I could capture nicer pictures with it but sadly… ya. And so, Xuejia, Milton and myself were on this Friday flight to Ho Chi Minh City. It was delayed for 1.5hours and we took a taxi to meet Siyu at her place. After settling down, we hopped over to Saigon Square for some shopping while waiting for the Ben Thanh Night Market to be set up. I must say that the prices aint as cheap as I was expecting. Tops and dresses are at least SGD15 where Bugis Street has stores selling the sam...

what's wrong with my life?

just came back from vietnam, my camera (olympus epl-1) got snatched by some locals on motorbike. fml. like my life isnt dramatic enough. i just got to know that one of my friends whom got a cumulative gpa of 2.9 (same as me), she was awarded a degree with distinctions and i just got a pass. seriously? and who's the one being active in CCA for the past 3 years and in the exco position for 1 year. and who's the one with no cca commitment at all and cld concentrate fully on her studies. life is unfair. my life sucks. i hope my appeal goes through... else i can only say that the sch is screwed up.

The Mystery of lost Blog photos Solved.

Image
My photos from 8years ago were gone in a night! Guess who is the culprit? Yes, this beauty here is the culprit! and i'm her accomplice. :( why? because blogger is somehow linked to google just like how android is linked to google! upon syncing my phone with my google account, thousands of pictures appeared in the photo gallery of my phone. I was like, why did it randomly sync photos from my photo album? some were really old photos and suddenly it used up a few gbs of my photo memory. hence, i didn't thought much of it and deleted the entire album without realising it that it's wiped off from picasa (blogger's photo hosting site?) and google's database. FML so now... you'll see all the "pretty" grey boxes with exclaimation signs here, there and everywhere on my blog as the pictures were gone for good. there is absolutely no way to get them back! FML seriously. goodbye my memories. :( upset!

great job blogger.com.
