Thanksgiving weekend

So we had a really fun week... Heidi, Randy, and kidos came to spend Thanksgiving. We hung out at our house for a few days then headed to Gulf Shores in southern, AL

This is the place that we stayed, it was so nice and you can not beat FREE!!!!

It was warm, but the wind was blowing, and Pacee still was adamant about getting into the water. She was so excited!!!

War Eagle.....

Welcome to the SEC..... Well if you are not a football fan and you move to the south you will become one. On a home game week it starts on Thursday as the Rv's roll into town, and park in the RV fields. On Friday you are not allowed to set up your area until afternoon, but people get their lawn chairs and will sit where they want until that time. Then Friday night and all day Saturday there is major bbq-ing
going on. If you go to the game there is at least 88,000 seats, but on campus there is at least 150,000 people. We learned that Since we live on campus we dont leave unless we have to, or we may not get back for a few hours.
Since we did not get season tickets this is our tailgating and game watching. We will normally get together with friends to watch. This week we pulled the TV out side, got chairs, and barbecued. It was a lot of fun.

There are some major crazy fans. The girls all wear dresses to the games( but to school they all wear nike running shorts and Ugg boots).

This is Toomers corner, after a Win about 50,000 people go to this spot
and toiletpaper everything right there. It is crazy!!!!

These are a bunch of our friends... Sabeys, Hubbards, Puffers, and Beasleys...... All hard core fans!!

I think Shayden has gone Mad..... He wanted to be a nija.

My Husband...

Well, it is 1:30am and I am not a night person but I am not so tired after our spider hunt. So we have brown recluse spiders all around our house (ok we only found 6 tonight) and  so tonight we went to the store to buy spray. My cute husband then went and vacuumed and sprayed all the windows so I can feel a little better, and maybe sleep tonight. I love him so much he is so good to me.

UMMMMMMM, can I move home now???????

So before we moved out here everyone said spiders grow BIG in the south. They did not tell me that they would be BIG and on my front door!!!!!!!
Shayden, and I had been on a walk and were getting ready to go inside when Shayden decides to show me a spider above our door. Yes, I am convinced that it is a BROWN RECLUSE! We then get looking and we found 3 more. We had to stop looking because we were itching so bad and I am now terrified to walk outside.

THe BEacH

Who does not love going to the beach.  Since there was no school on labor day we decided to make it a beach day. We went with our friends the Sabeys. I love the beach and even more I love being close to the beach. Our next move we may have to live on the beach (I don't think Shayden would let this happen), but I would love it.

Hot TuB!!!

So Two weeks ago we were sitting in our house it was Sunday afternoon and Shayden decides to go look outside. Well some of the boys have decided to pull their truck up on the lawn and turn it into a pool. They lined the bed of the truck with plastic and then filled it with water.
Shayden was in charge and had to break up their fun again. With all the parties he has had to write people up for, and calling the cops on people he is known as the NAZI around here.

Sweet home Alabama

So we have officially been gone for a month. CRAZY!!! Well, SHayden has started school and is loving his classes. I am a stay at home wife right now and I LOVE that. Yes, I know that it can not last forever, but I am really taking advantage of every bit of it. We are working on our southern accent, and here are a few of our new phrases......
a shopping cart is a buggy
be sweet (you use this when leaving),
ya'll,
all ya'll,
and all ya'll's.
Now I can not tell you the right way to use all of these, but they sure use everyone of them. They even use them in the same sentence sometimes.
