One Layer Wonder

Hey y'all! Happy Tuesday!
Hope all is well?!...

Well, if it isn't red or black cardstock, it seems to be kraft cardstock that I have trouble photographing!! In all honesty I'm no expert, actually far from it. Though, I always continue to practice my photography skills and editing. Today, seems to be one of those 'I feel like pulling out my hair' (etc.) days on editing. I can't seem to get the editing quite right...take 1, take 2, take 3, etc. Nothing is working in my favor. However, I can't sit here and be stressed about it. So with that being said, I'm still sharing my photo. ;)

I did make this card for the current CAS-ual Fridays Challenge.

So here's my card...

Lately, I've been leaning towards using kraft cardstock and using colored pencils. I started with randomly stamping on my flowers and then stamped on some little dots. After, I did some quick and easy coloring with one flower. In this case, I chose purple. And after added my sentiment. Easy peasy, right?!...

A blank card

Hey y'all! Happy Monday!
Hope your week is starting off right?!...

I've been busy with some DT work, among all the other things going on in my life right now. ;) For the most part things are good, just busy. I'm sure many of you can relate?...

Anyhow, I made up this 'blank card' awhile ago and just didn't share it. I'm still not sure if I'm loving it but thought I'd still share. ;)

I kept things simple, did some coloring with my flower and a little stenciling with embossing paste for my background panel. After, I assembled everything together on my card base and topped things off with some twine under my panel piece and some nuvo drops. Simple, yeah?!...

I'm spending the day baking bread and cookies, as well as helping my kids with some homework. So, a little busy...but I found a tiny bit of time to make a few things. Yay! :)

My card for today is for the current Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge.

I saw the challenge theme on the day it came out, though it took me forever to come up with something! Not sure why?...But at last, something came to me. 

Keeping things simple, I used a Concord & 9th set (Lots of Blots) which unfortunately is no longer available in their shop. Though, you can find it here and here available for purchase. ;)  I started with stamping on my stripes with a dark blue ink, then added my sentiment stripe in a pink ink. Quick and easy, right?!...I was gonna just leave it as is, but decided to add a little twine to finish things off. Sweet, yeah?!...

Hey y'all! Happy Thursday, almost Friday! :)
Hope all is well?!...

Yesterday, I was thinking too smart and dropped about 15 pieces of plywood on my bare foot!! (Ouch!) And if that wasn't enough, I decided (even after hurting my foot) that I would still workout. Well...another bad idea of mine!! I ended up somehow tweaking my neck/back, so now I'm just darn right hurting everywhere! (I'm just shaking my head at all this.)

Anyhow, at least (knock on wood) I still am able to make things! :) Today, I'm sharing a card I made for the current CAS-ual Fridays Challenge.

I went pretty simple with my card. I used some distress inks (pink and red) with CAS-ual Fridays Stamps 'Be' set, which I spritz some water on before applying to my watercolor paper. After letting things dry, I stamped on my sentiment using black ink from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps 'Loving Greetings' set. Easy peasy, right?!...

Hope all is well?!...

I'm actually typing this post on Friday but am delaying to post it until today. I've had nothing but a rough week and have been trying to just get through it. Though 'Friday' really seem to put the cherry on top of all the chaos. I really don't have much for words...I will say things started with my phone falling in the toilet...lol Oh, I tried laughing that one off but should have known it was probably a sign that more things were coming my way. Ugh. Guess we all have those kinds of weeks, right?!...

Anyhoo, I'm sharing a card I made for the current Altenew February 2017 Inspiration Challenge.

Keeping in my true fashion, I kept my card simple, letting the stamps do all the work. ;) 

Seriously, I have to say...One of the things I love about Altenew stamps is their layering stamps are simply amazing and you really don't have to add or do much with them to make them 'pop'! I just love them!

I believe my card seems great for masculine card, as well as a hero card?!... ;) I wasn't really aiming for a masculine card but I guess with the images and colors I used it turned out that way. And I'm not complaining about it...lol Masculine cards are always the hardest for me.

Happy to say, I'm feeling 100% again! Thank you again for all the well wishes! :)

Anyhow, I have a card to share today. I made it for the current Addicted to CAS challenge.

I've been following their blog for quite some time, though always seem to 'space' on playing along...while, not this time! lol I saw the code word and made sure it stuck in my head to play! Annnd it just happened that I received a little happy mail which included a pet stamp set in it...so I would say 'perfect timing' don't you think?!...

Keeping things simple. I started with stamping on my dog house and doing a little coloring. After, I stamped my little dog, did some more coloring and then used the matching die along with it. Once done, I made a little banner with my sentiment and added a touch of twine to it. Once having all my pieces done, I added everything to my card and to top things off, I added a few little 'drops' to my card. Oh, and did you notice that darn stitch die again?!...lol...Really getting my money out of that one...heehee. ;)

Well, my crafty mojo seems to be coming back to me! Yay! :) With that being said, I made a card for the current Little Tangles Challenge.

Who doesn't love die cuts?!!...

I kept things simple, though I actually did some WATERCOLORING!! lol It's been a little while since I've done any of that! ;) Once I was finished with my watercoloring, which I had to speed up the drying time by using my heat gun because I'm that impatient. lol I added my flowers, which I used some distress ink with. Then used black ink for the details/outlines of my flowers. After, I used the 'celebrate' die with black cardstock and gold glitter cardstock, layered them together and then added it to my card. Easy peasy, right?!...

I love your new look!

Hope all is well?!...

Well, I'm finally starting to feel better! Yay! And my crafty mojo is somewhat coming back! :) So today I'm sharing a card (which I just made the other day *wink, wink.) for the current CASology Challenge.

I pulled out a way oooold Sweet Stamp Shop set, which honestly I never really used to much of it to begin with. Not sure why?...But I didn't. And lately, I seem to be back on the whole 'use stamp sets I have yet to use or show some love to the older stamp sets' kick, again. ;) 

Keeping things easy, I did some masking with my images and then simply colored in my nail polish. (I thought a fun bright pink would certainly make anyone feel young again!) After, I added my sentiment piece, along with a gold glitter heart and some clear sequins. Easy peasy, right?!...

Well, I'm off to catch up on some commenting and whatnot...so I'll see you soon!
