I had some fun with glitter!...Well, I'm not sure about the 'fun' part, but I think it looks good!?!...I kept it simple and just wanted the 2014 to stand out from everything else.

Christmas greetings

Hey, y'all! Happy Sunday and today is another new CAS on Sunday challenge!! :) This time, it's all about Christmas! Here is my card.

I tried something a little different (at least for me). I did a little background with a greeting, then stamped on my sleigh. I colored it in and used some glitter on my branches. Now, I was gonna 'pop up' my sleigh but didn't like it much. So, I stuck with just coloring it in. I know it shows my background in it, but I do like that it does?....Maybe it's just me?....

Let it snow

Hey y'all!....I know, I know, I've been 'missing' again! lol I want to promise you I'll be around more and I am trying but these upcoming holidays have me all over the place! ;) I will though still being crafting away...I just need a BIG reminder to myself, to put my cards on my blog! lol :)

So, today marks a new challenge at CAS on Sunday! And it's a fun 'winter theme' challenge! :) I personally, am a Florida girl. I'm not one for having any cold weather. Snow, does look pretty and everything but I want nothing to do with it! lol ;) So, for my card I went with a more fun/cute type of winter card.

I think that little deer is so cute?!.....I decided to keep him white and color a few brown spots. I also added a little touch of white flock to his nose (as if it were snow on it). Then I added some light blue snowflakes and top everything off with my sentiment and rhinestones.

Hey y'all! Hope all is well with everyone?!....It's busy, busy, busy for me! Though, I've been keeping up with everything and I found some time to play! ;)

So, for my card today I'm playing along with Case This Sketch! It's been waaaaaay to long since I've played with them. I saw the sketch and though it'd be a fun one to play with. And here's my card!

Well, I kept it simple. I did a little masking and stamping, then added my sentiment. And for a nice little touch, added a few enamel dots and called it 'good'. :)

A 'one layer' card

I actually did some coloring!! Who would of ever thought?!....lol Keeping it CAS, I just placed my little balloons where I wanted them, drew on some strings, and colored them in. Easy, right?! ;)

To be honest I have always enjoyed playing along with the challenges at Moxie Fab. Though, I do wish I played along more and was a little more frequent at visiting. However, every time I did visit (whether I played in or challenge or not) there was always something to inspire me. Sometimes it was the people, sometimes the pictures, sometimes both, and sometimes even just looking at the 'header' would capture me! :)

I personally, don't know Cath as well as I would have liked to. Though, it's nice knowing a little about her! ;) I wish Cath nothing but the best and to 'follow your dreams'!! :) Life is about taking adventures....enjoy!!

It's 'sketch' time!

Hey y'all! Happy Sunday and today is the day for a new challenge at CAS on Sunday!! :) This time we have a 'sketch' for you to use!

So, here's my take!

The minute I saw the sketch, I was lovin' it! ;)  Hopefully, it's not only me seeing the sketch in my card?...I used the leaves as my 'dome' shape and  my banner for the bottom of it. I did do a little thinking and decided to go with a 'fall' card. I was gonna use a white card base, but later decided on this lovely orange-y color. :)

Hey y'all! Whoa! Two posts in one day?!.....Maybe this is a sign I'm getting back on track!! ;) And......This card is for Casual Fridays Challenge!!...I'm actually playing along with a challenge! I really have been missing out on all the fun! :)

So, here's my card!

Oh, I kept this so clean and simple....though, I love it! :) I decided to use some alphabet dies (that I happened to find at a garage sale...3$ for the whole set!).  I then glued down my 'hi' and stamped on a stitch, using silver ink. To top it off, one little enamel dot for the 'i'. :) Easy, right?!......

Hey y'all! Well, it's that time again.....Are you ready for a new CAS on Sunday challenge?!...I know I am! ;) So, for this challenge you need to make a 'get well' card.

I kept things very simple. :) I played around with trying different ink colors for the vase/flowers and ended up with it this way. I think it works?.....It seems 'happy' to me or at least to make someone smile. :)

Ahoy matey!

Hey y'all!! I AM HERE STILL! lol I know it's been such a long time since I've posted much or played along with any challenges. I'm still trying to fully get my schedule down. I am homeschooling my kids this year, so I'm trying to find a schedule that works best for everyone. :) Then I have had nothing but an broken camera! I was trying to convince myself that it still had some life in it!...I mean it was sooo bad, I had tape holding the battery door, no outside shutter, no zooming (unless I pulled on it myself), no really no photo functions whats so ever!! lol Yeah, it was that bad! Well, needless to say I finally have a new camera and it seems to be working good! :) Yay!

And I actually have a card to share!! :) Now, this card isn't for any challenges nor for a DT project. I made it for my husband's nephews birthday. I almost  wanted to send it in for World Card Making Day, though decided not to. ;)

I really was just playing around with an idea in my head. I cut some strips of paper for my lines and made a stencil out of it. Then used some light blue ink to fill the lines in. And once again, I chose a corner and went with a nice little collage of things. :)

Oh baby...

Hey y'all! Happy Sunday! Well, it's that time again....Time for a new CAS on Sunday challenge!! :) For this challenge, it's all about 'oh, baby'!

And here is my card!

Keeping it CAS, I went for my upper corner and added some fun little embellishments. At first I had some clouds, then I thought of 'burlap twine'. That led me to making a bow for my main cloud. Then somehow after doing that, it led me to making a little hanging heart. And for my final touches, I added one frosted gem and two clear gems. :) Sweet, right?.....

CAS on Sunday challenge!

Hey y'all! Happy Sunday! So, are you ready for the new CAS on Sunday?!....I sure hope so! The name of the challenge is 'Floral Fantasy' (you need to use flowers on your card, as in papers, accents, or an image, etc.). Fun, right?! :)

So, here is my card!

I did some thinking on this, but I think I managed to come out with a pretty cute card?!.....I used some pattern paper, which has some flower images on it. Then decided to add a wood veneer flower piece. I added a little bit of a stamped background. And to bring everything together, I added some different pieces of embellishments and my sentiment.

Just think of all the different things you can create, using flowers!! If you come join us, you have a chance to win a wonderful prize from Team Utopia!
