My Favorite Weekend!!

Every year we get to enjoy this extremely fun weekend in SLC with the Smith's (hince the title my favorite weekend). It includes; staying at Little America, shopping, seeing the lights, Jazz game, tabernacle choir concert sunday morning, and eating delicious food. I think I might love this weekend more than Christmas!! The only thing that could have made it better would to have Cameron, Justin, Ariel, and little Beau there :(. London had a great time with grandpa, grandma, & Uncle Austin, she really loves being with them. It was a wonderful weekend and we are already looking forward to it next year. I probably won't post again before Christmas so MERRY CHRISTMAS everybody, hope it is great! Oh! I don't know why everything is underlined....I couldn't change it. :)

London sure loves her Grandpa!
London in her snow gear...She looked like the little brother from a Christmas Story. HA!
London in her new Christmas pj's that grandma got her. If you can't tell, the shirt says "what santa doesn't bring me grandma will"...It's true!

There's no place like home....

Little miss Dorothy Gale

I hope you can tell that London was Dorothy for Halloween. Thanks to my sister Lori we were able to make a pretty cute costume. London loved being with some of her cousins and getting candy. It was a great Halloween!

Dorothy's piggy tails...I was so excited that her hair was long enough to do them.

London loved being with her cousins..except for Shadie, she is the little scary ghost next to her. When London first saw her she screamed...Seriously. It took her a minute to warm up to her. Left to right: Virgil the vampire, Waylon the ghost, Evan the cowboy, Shadie the ghost, Taya the Fairy, London as Dorothy, and Samuel the construction worker.

To finish the night we went and played with Henley Huntsman. They are so cute together. Henley was the cutest Minnie Mouse.

Corn Belly's at Thanksgiving Point

This was a really fun outing. We went with my friend Cristina and her son Isaac. I love Thanksgiving Point, they always have something fun going on for kids. Corn Belly's had so much fun stuff, London really liked it. This will definitely be something we'll do next year. I know there are a lot of pictures, but like I said, there was a lot to do. I actually left a lot of pictures out.
London with the pumpkin princess in Cinderella's carriage.

London and I on the slide and the cow train. She loved the slide & Isaac loved the cow train.

There was this HUGE air pillow that the kids loved jumping on. So FUN!

Pumpkin Time!!

We carved pumpkins the other day, and London had so much fun!! She loved playing in all the mess and getting dirty. We got the pumpkin about a week ago and just had it sitting in the house. London loved playing with it and giving it loves. I'm not sure why she kept giving it loves... I guess she thought it was her baby. HA. Anyways, we had a good time & I think they turned out pretty cute.

London digging and playing in the pumpkin seeds. I had to keep her binky in the whole time because everything would go into her mouth. YUM!

After a much needed bath, we took pictures with the finished pumpkins.

What you'll do for CANDY

As you know London doesn't get...well, any looks from her Mama, but I finally found something she got from me....my love for CANDY!! We have been trying to get her to walk forever, and as soon as we get the candy out she does it! :) So, good news that she's walking but not so good news that she might have my appetite. (Ha) Anyways, here's a short clip of her getting her candy and a couple of pictures that show her different faces that she makes.

She makes this face when she is bugged....me saying her name a hundred times to get her to look obviously bugs her.  She must get this from me too (irritation).
This is a new face but I love it!!
Don't mind Brendan's loud YAY!! We are really excited!

Puppy Love

My mom is staying with us for the week while my dad is in Maryland, and she brought her three little boxer puppies that she is selling (if you want one let me know :). They are the cutest things ever! London loves to watch them out the window, but when I bring her out to play with them they jump all over her and bite her cloths. She isn't as interested in them after that. It's sad that I let her get trampled by the puppies, but you have to admit, it's pretty funny. ha! Anyways, just thought I would share the laughter. Enjoy!
Watching the dogs out the window

I'm such a mean mom....I'll do anything for a laugh! JK :)

Utah State Fair

London got to have her first pony ride at the state fair, and she loved it! Every time she would pass by me she would put one hand up in the air and say "whoo whoo"! It was SO cute. She got to pet cows, sheep, & pigs, and no matter what we would say they were, they were all DOGS! :) She really loves that word for some reason, when she actually sees a dog she says it with such enthusiasm. It's pretty funny! We had a lot of fun at the fair, London is really into animals these days.

She looks scared in this picture, but wasn't scared at all.

And yes, if you are wondering, I did get a deep fried twinkie. :) It was fabulous! London really liked it too.

So long Chi town :(

back: Chase, Jenna, Cameron

front: Tessa, London, Taya

We're happy but sad to say that we are back in Utah. We love being home, but it was a lot of fun in Chicago...It will be missed. London & I made some great new friends, and are really sad that we don't get to hang out with them everyday. Thanks girls for making it such a great memorable summer.
We drove...well, I tried to drive, but ended up only driving three of the twenty hours. Ha Ha! Anyways, Brendan was a trooper he drove straight through the night, it was great! London slept most of the trip, sometimes when we'd stop for gas, in the middle of the night,  she would wake up and whine a little. Brendan thought that he would sing her a song that he always sings to her before bedtime (I know, cute!). So he starts to sing to her and in the middle of the song she looks at him and as clear as it gets says....DOG! You might of had to be there, but we both were rolling and even the next morning, completley exhausted laughed about it. :) Good times! We are happy to be back, but are so happy that we got to spend the summer in the Windy City. Here is a picture of all London's friends in Chicago. Max was also a potenial boyfriend but he wasn't in the picture.

Princess party and Rasmussen Reunion

The party was so much fun, all of London's cousins and friends loved it. They all wore princess dresses and got to learn how to be and act like a princess. It was so cute, all the girls were really into it. London loved playing in her cake, surprisingly she didn't really like eating it though. Fortunately, I don't think she has my sweet tooth, grateful for that. Ha! The party was a blast, thanks Grandma Misti for the great party.....My family reunion was so much fun! We explored lava caves, went to Mackay Lake, fished, shot guns, had air soft gun wars, and ate some great food. As you know, I come from a very big family and it gets pretty crazy when we are all together. I love it, I miss being with my family and can't wait to be close to them again. London loved being with all the cousins, all they want to do is carry her around and give her loves. It was a ton of fun, thanks mom and dad for a wonderful reunion!

Books, Books & more Books

Lately all London has been wanting to do is read books. Even when I'm not reading them to her, she tries to read them all by herself. It's the cutest thing ever. One day I was able to video her looking through her book (tried to get her to wave....I failed). Anyways, we can't believe that we have a one year old...the time has flown by. We are going home tomorrow for my reunion and we are going to have a princess party for her (Cinderella will be there and everything). I know she won't understand what is going on but she will enjoy the pictures some day. We are so excited to see our families! Miss you all so much.

Tornado Watch!!!

Scary night!! So I take Brendan to the airport, come home get London in a bath and walk down stairs to my friend Shalin knocking on the door. There was a serious tornado watch and we were right in the middle of it, the sirens were going off and everything! She lives on the top floor so she was coming to my ground level. Anyways, the news said that ten tornadoes had touched the ground. It was pretty scary, Brendan at the airport and me home alone with London. It passed and we are fine but here are a couple of clips. The first one is the beginning of the storm and the second is the end of it. We were too scared to try to video the peak of the storm. You got to love living in Chicago!

They never do what you want!

So I have been trying to get a video of London waving and clapping her hands, as you can tell by the video I don't get either. Every time I get the camera out she just wants to take it and play with it. Anyways, I like this video because London does her fake cry. She does it all the time...SO cute, but I'm sure we won't enjoy it as much when she gets older. :) I love how she ignores me most of the video, it's so hard to get good pictures these days.

The funny things babies do!

I think this is the age were a lot of there personality starts to show and I love it! London is so funny, I leave her for a second and these are the things I find her doing. This first picture we were at the park and she didn't like crawling on the cement, so she kept doing this...he he! She really is such a funny girl, I love this age so much. I am so excited for when she can walk and talk!

Watching her baby Einstein videos..seriously she loves to be this close to the TV, I have to constantly pull her back.

Goes through Daddy's wallet. She loves to take each card out...of course she loves the CC.

Gets stuck trying to play with her car seat. I could tell she was mad, but she never cried just found a way out. What a big girl!

Being Silly with toys!
