Merry Christmas! :)

MERRY BLESSED CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! :D

so chirstmas eve was here, i reached home way early in the morning, and since there was no point sleeping, i got ready and went back to school as we had training! for street jazz with jesscy and hakeem! :) i wore my hotpink hiphop pants! :) and we finished choreo! yayyyy! :) and i survived dancing slightly intoxicated!

after that i went back home to get ready n all while waiting for everyone to arrive - parents + grandparents, and we had our usual christmas dinner n everything. :) this year was awesome. loved every bit. and even though i felt it was super slow (maybe also cos i was suffering the aftereffects of post alcohol) and even though i only got 2 presents, i'm happy that my family was altogether, and seeing the smiles on my parents faces were pretty priceless. :)

it was an awesome christmas! which seeped into christmas day itself. where i was stuck on the computer cos the whole night i spent dreaming up choreo, and editing my mep stuff! zomg so much for chirstmas, but oh well. :) i'm glad its half done. :) Christmas day was round 2 of food spam, not many pictures but sure a lot of laughter. :)

post Christmas boxing day, liwei and marcus came over for awhile to get some stuff from me, and i got to talk to daryl chua since they were going to meet up. what are the odds we all somehow know each other! hahah. and then i headed over to al's place for his pyjama party! it was pretty fun! like playing mahjong, eating, building a house out of mahjong tiles, and then making fun of tecktee's name which we found out was WANG DETI (DIRTY ONG) huge joke lol, eating more food, talking, laughing, playing poker, taking pictures getting high AGAIN. was not funny cos XO really sucks.

post party was really more lazy. lazed around. then the rain came in, not allowing me to head home. so i had no choice but to go for service from his place straight. gosh the whole sort of hungover feeling kinda sucks. either way, had good heart 2 hearts with different people. i guess i can say i made new friends and got closer to a few. :) pretty glad though. :) haha. either way, it was a way fun night. the laughter was more than awesome. :) and it was a DRAMA FREEE NIGHT (for me at least)! :D pure fun and joy and whatever Christmas is all about - PIGGING OUT. hahaha

last service of the year was really awesome! i enjoyed myself a lot. :) i think i will finally open up my house for new years. :) cos i have a nice house and a grill now. teeheehee. but i'm going to countdown with alene n all at her house. :) i kinda can't wait to catch up with all of them again cos i miss yall so muchhhhhh! :) and yes, it will be a year of REST :D

i will dance off everything this week. because i have dance every frigging day. :) how awesome is that. AND PLUS. i was really inspired with the stuff that i am coming up with for my choreo. :) its really jesus la, so i kinda can't wait to try out new stuff. :) monday monday! :D thank you daddy, i can do this somehow. :) this open house item will be awesome because you say so. :)

for the opportunity, for the inspiration, for the little magic you throw in here and there, for the right place and right time, for the gifts, for the talents, for the journey, for the enthusiasm, for the steps, movements, every spin and twirl is yours. :)

i just have a really awesome feeling about this piece, and its speaking somewhere from the heart at an ultra personal level. :) it started off rather shaky, taking forever to form, but you see what jesus can do, turn nothing into something beautiful, thats what he did to me, and thats what he's doing for me - in each and every area of my life. :)

this piece is really dedicated to all those that need that little glimmer of hope in the distance, to those that need that extra push to get through the day, and for those in need of a little belief in themselves. i personally think that we need that all the time, and thats where i drew my inspiration from :)

this particular choreo will probably be the most personal one to me yet, cos it was done in remembrance of this whole year. all the crap i endured, every pain and hurt in my life that i've overcome, and despite all that, i'm here today, i picked myself up, and DANCED. :) and this just symbolizes that no matter what, we overcome our fears, grow stronger, build character, and thats what this dance is about. :)

daddy, this is for you, for all the times you've been there.

Chirstmas week is here!

so this week was all about the festivities! it was when our actual holiday starts, marking our two week break supposedly away from school. :) many parties, much dancing and yes the overdose of sleepless nights and alcohol.

monday started by me heading down to school to teach modern for the open house item. :) since the hiphop people wanted to dance modern, we were doing an item for them, so thus, we had our first practice then. :) it was only hakeem, keith and oon, but nonetheless, we had a lot of fun! :)

i really love you guys very much, esp with the amount of effort yall put into everything. :) i really appreciate the support very very much. :) and to my modern dancers as well. i love you guys, thanks for coming down, for learning, for teaching and for just being there to help out in anyway you all could. :) i appreciate it so much. kevon for always being my partner for steps, haha, and phyllicia for always helping me with the speakers and brenice for often throwing me steps and ideas and suggestions. :) so choreo for that day turned out pretty ok! :) didn't look too bad and everyone kinda enjoyed themselves even though we were all super tired. haha. :)

tuesday was a busy day! as i had filming with melanie in the morning for my project. :) thanks babe so much for helping me out! i love youuuuu! :) and then after that we had time to kill as phyllicia was gonna pick us up so we could go get stuff for the tpde bbq! :) yay so cools! so we were goofing off and cam whoring. :)

then phyllicia came, we loaded the car with everything, and then off we went to BBQ wholesale centre! found the place thanks to mel's awesome sense of direction, and then off we were to get food. while we were choosing what we wanted it started to rain (like wth) and then we had to run back into the car with all the stuff, and then head to tm to buy more necessities from ntuc. while mel n i went to get fries. :D

after that we headed back to school, so i could return the camera, as i didnt wanna lug it around the whole day and the returning time was at 3pm. then was with mel, while they drove to xueying's place to get the tumbler thing to put the drinks in. thank god mel was with me cos returning the camera was really fast! lol. so we waited while they came back to fetch us all back to phyllicia's place!

then we decided to go SWIMMING. :D haven't done that in awhile. tried to teach brenice how to swim! hahah. the poor girl doesn't even know how to swim manz! so we were all swimming and having fun. :) went to the jacuzzi which failed also. haha cos the button's didn't seem to work really well.

after swimming we headed to change and then for the bbq! yea the fire was being such a BITCH and couldnt start. it being post rain didnt help either :( so we didnt get to eat till much much later. kevon brought 2 awesome cakes from TCC. :) so we all had some goodies to spam first before we actually got cooking!

went home with kevin, and i had so much food to bring back, thank god he helped me carry. haha. and then my brother and i decided to cook it on the grill and i'm glad we discovered the grill, cos seriously manz. it was WAY AWESOMEZ. having satay in the middle of the night was awesome. haha. and i'm glad he enjoyed it cos i know he likes satay so i brought back for him. :D

the next day Ryan's class was cancelled! i went to school early to use the maclab to digitise the footage of mel, and then at 5pm, i used the time-slot to actually do up the choreo for open house. :) i'm glad more came and were more open to learn modern choreo. :) i really appreciate the effort. i mean, i'm not the best dancer/choreographer, but i try my best, everyone try their best will have good effort. :) haha. and i think we didn't do too badly. :) praise god manzzzzz!

after that i decided to go down to sean's birthday/christmas chalet, considering i couldn't go the night before as i had the tpde bbq. so i went down and ate the awesome food. :) and then we played more games, and then laughed a lot at all the high people. hahaha. like tecktee and chicken in his pants and such. initially i didn't wanna drink a lot, but ended up drinking anyway while playing mahjong, cos i seriously didn't wanna get involved in the drama. oh well... it was a super drama night. which kinda spoiled the mood. but oh well. we survived.

i was super high half the night through, and i felt like crap, and i couldn't sit still cos the world was literally spinning, so therefore, i will tell myself never ever to drink so much ever and just stick to laughing at people who are high. :) and yes, i couldn't exactly remember what happened. so yea. blehs. all i remember was it raining in the morning and sean sending us back and him giving me all the left over food! which was like a shitload a lot! hahaha. praise jesus man. that totally made my christmas with all the food! :)

so onto Christmas eve it is! :D
