MERRY CHRISTMAS! (:

this year's christmas had its ups and downs, but jesus is really faithful. he calmed the storms among the family so that we could have such an awesome christmas. (:

well first off, Monday was christmas eve! in the afternoon we headed down to giant to collect our foodstuffs and while we were there we shopped around and had loads of fun. i kinda like the big giant near the Ikea there. (:

so after our trip there, we headed back home to prepare for christmas dinner! (:

so much for christmas eve! the next day was christmas day! and we went to aunty Audrey's house for her party. it was quite slack la actually and it was mainly mom talking to her since she is like her super old friend from i have no idea how many years back. haha. it was interesting being in the west. like at DOVER. haha. i managed to see Singapore Poly and dover mrt is seriously nice. (: we dropped by city hall and shopped! (: yay i'm happy! i bought 2 new dresses for half the price. (: awesomeee! then home!

on Thursday i went back to school! haha. yes i went to go see my dancers! (: and i managed to see zaki as well! did some catching up as he showed us pictures in his iphone. waaaa. hahaha. but it was so fun to see all my dancers again. (: went with Priscilla and she's going to CJ for her 1st 3 weeks of school! (: she should have just appealed to VJ since she had like 9 points! and we managed to talk to our juniors and talked about our concert coming april. (: i'm really excited and can start choreo already! (:

after that i headed home since it was still early and then i went off again in the afternoon to meet Alene at city hall! she finally bought her harness for climbing! and then we headed down to bugis to meet the rest of the super D alumni for our outing! (: I'm so glad so many people turned up! like Alena and esp ADCY! i miss them so so so much! (:

so we headed down to purvis street to eat the famous beef noodles! according to coach val! haha. and we took many many pictures. (: i love super D. there is really something special about us, and what i feel as that we really take ownership of our friendship! like so many people turned up for the outing! (: and it just shows how important we are to each other that we make time to spend with each other! (: I'm just so so so glad to be a part of such a wonderful tight friendship with these people. (:

then after that we proceeded onto bugis junction to take NEOPRINTS! haha. convinced by me and Alene! whoo hooo! (: so we managed to take neoprints with 12 people in the booth! haha. after sqeeezing so many of us in! but it was really really fun. (: we managed to convince the guys to take with us too! (: hahahhaah. we also took our own shots with the nice lighting and backgrounds with coach val's digi cam! (:

then we proceeded to swensens for dessert! and then chit chatted till late late and then headed home. (: it was an extremely fun day!

the next day was a Friday! and at night i headed over to Alene's place for our sleepover! we watched many movies like ice age 2 and i finally watched hairspray! of course snacked a lot and she let me listen to this really funny lama song. haha. it was good fun though. (: i love her big big house! (: and i miss going over there and doing all our stuff! like making our props n all. i miss! (: but it was a good time spent with her. (:

the next day we woke up around 12 almost 1 and then after lunch i headed home while she went off to meet Katie. i couldn't join them cos i had to go be at Tabi's place to be at her surprise birthday party! so i went home then headed down to her place. (: it was super funny! met Germaine, Donna and Miko and then we followed her sister back to her place. up to her room where we blew balloons and decorated the place and waited for her to come home.

and when her mom sent her up she got the shock of her life! we bombarded her with pray ribbon, balloons and glow sticks - I'm sure she was surprised! haha. happy 18th babe. i love you loads. (: after that we went down to eat. we also played many rounds of taboo and then i headed home. (: talked to germs at the bus stop for awhile too cos she was waiting for the bus with me. (: it was quite fun. she opened her christmas present i made for her and she told me she used the same photo for me in the present she made me! (: omg this really says a lot! haha. we really are good friends. (: i wonder what i'd do without you germs! (:

Sunday was church day! (: went for 3rd with my youths! and then after that Alene n i rushed off to go get Katie's cake! cos it was her birthday the next day and we decided to celebrate it earlier for her. (: so we bought the nice cake from NYDC. then snuck up through the rock book shop to go get a lighter to light the candle. then we walked out and sang and totally surprised her. (: YAY. KATIE I LOVE YOUUUUU! (: happy 17th! FINALLY. haha. we're all the same age now. (:

hung outside the rock for a long long time. (: talked, laughed and had lots of fun playing games and then we went for dinner at somewhere near Bugis as well. (: we hung around Bugis for like the longest time, and after dinner we were just stuck somewhere near macs there and we were just talking and laughing and singing with kaiyan. while kev danced around. it was seriously very fun. (: trained home with the easties as usual. (: it was a good good day. (:

Monday was new years eve, slacked around at home and went to see Germaine as well. (: it was good seeing her and YX. (: and YX and i talked a lot and it seems we had so much in common! haha. i wish i seriously got to know her so much better man. (: but it was fun. then after that spent time with my family at home for countdown. (: it was fun seeing ms wee and Andrea dance on tv. haha. and thank you Andrea for the tickets for the countdown even though i didn't go, but i gave all the tickets away! haha. (:

this week was awesome! (:

Monday was ambs outing - which i already blogged about in my previous post. then Tuesday, was filming! (: Denise and i were called in early in the morning to be in the announcements for Sunday! (: whoo hoo! i felt so privileged. haha. (: it was only 4 of us, me, Denise, Jeremy's and moses, together with coach Jason and coach E! (: so it was really fun! after that we had lunch w coach e and talked about a lot of stuff! then when she had to go back up, Denise and i went and walked around. and it was also N level results day! i remember mine last year! it was around the same time, so we started calling everyone! like Paul, Teck Tee, Darrel and I'm glad that they all did well. (: all getting into the courses they want for ITE and for Debra, Sze An and Brandon - all taking their Os next year! (: YAY. (:

so after all that Denise went to meet her mom, and i walked down to bugis and did abit of shopping of my own. (: but i was alone cos my stupid brother pangse-ed me. so i shopped by myself. bought myself a pretty bag, and my mom's christmas present. (: then i homed a very satisfied girl. hehehe. (:

Thursday was leaders retreat! (: my first ever! and we had to be there at like 830 am or smth! so i woke up seriously early and trained all the way to dohby ghaut where i met Lehow and Yong De. then Jasmine and Denise came and we walked all the way to YWCA. (: had breakfast with everyone! (: whoo hoo! it was really fun and good stuff! alene called me, and we found out she was in the wrong place - she was at YMCA. haha. so she walked all the wat to YWCA w nick! they both seriously blur la. but anyway. it was extremely fun. (:

the day started with p&w and pastor shared with us after that. and it was a really good time spent with the leaders. a good time of fellowship and just getting to know each other better. and it was a really good time to hear what was on pastor's heart. (: even for the upcoming year, what we'd like to see and everything. it was just so so awesome. (: after that we had lunch! (: yum yum! and we played a lot more games. haha. but i realise it was during the meals we had a lot more fellowship! (:

then the second part of the day we watched this video by pastor donna crouch! (: she was awesome! she talked about leadership and how to be a good leader and everything. i was really so so blessed by her message and it opened my eyes and reminded me why i was here again. (: it was so awesome. pastor donna is from hillsongs, and has been in ministry with pastor brian for the longest time. and i really liked the way she just carried the message across. (:

after that we were asked to write our points of what we caught during the message and present it. we were grouped together from the youngest to oldest! haha. so it was the new YLs and the YSs then we brainstormed. then we chose Jeremy to present and i must say this guy has so much Favour. (: cos as he presented, even though he said things wrong n everything, everyone understood what he was saying! this guy really is the best man. (:

after all that we had dinner! which was also awesome! (: and then off to our last part of the day. (: but before that we had sorta like a freak show. and so many of us had to go up and do weird stuff! like coach Kev and Sean - their tongue cannot point upwards. coach Julian's tongue can compress itself and make itself really huge. he can also do multiple face expressions which are really funny. then Michelle and Yimei can touch their noses with their tongues. Alene and Shirmaine's tongues can do waves. and mine can do flower! hahaha. not to mention jay's ultra LONG tongue. then coach Jayden's fingers can touch the back of his hand, and Chase and coach Alice can eat their feet! haha.

it was so so funny and entertaining! i kept laughing and laughing. (: then after we ended the night with praise and worship and of course pastor's blessings. (: it was really so so so awesome. (: and i really caught so much that night. i honestly just cannot wait for the new year because jesus is just gonna do so so so much. (: its only gonna get better and better. (: and I'm really really excited. (:

eventually we all left - i left w Dora, Lydia, Denise and KaiYan and we went to go eat tauhuay! (: and i was talking to Lydia the whole way about school n everything. (: i felt so blessed talking to her. (: and being the noob i was. i never ate all the stuff at the tauhuay place before. (: so i was really very glad i tried all the stuff that Dora bought. haha. (: then trained home w alene - super tired. but satisfied girls. (: yeah!

Friday was spent at home! finishing up Christmas presents and was later joined by josh n claire. (: we had a lot of sharing going on. haha. but it was good sharing and just reflecting on 2007. (: it was really really good stuff. (: then went to TM and i met my mom for dinner and more shopping esp at the pasar malam! (: yeah! (:

Saturday was the best because i met up with RACHEL TAN who i havent seen in the longest time! she just got back from australia for holiday! and it was so good catching up with her family! her mom and her dad! omg i missed them so much! (: i hung out with her the whole day bringing her around SG. SEE I'M NOT SO NOOB! and i brought her to suntec! haha. it was goo brining her around. (: i really missed you babe! (: and i enjoyed her company! (: MORE SOON! (:

Sunday was christmas service at indoor! (: it was super cool! sat w my DG, and after that proceeded on to distributing presents! (: so fun! was running around and calling everyone cos i wanted to give everything away! i really hope i remembered everyone mans. i even gave some of the super D alumni! (: yay. so happy to see them. (:

svc was good! Andrea, Jewel and Janiah danced. wow. and just watching them and thinking that by CNY I'll be there dancing too. what a privilege man. (: and i feel so glad that jesus led me to such an awesome department and gave me opportunity to dance in main dance. (: its really his favour and his grace. (: i cant wait to start training mansss! (: so exciting. pastor also said next year will be the year of blessings of Deuteronomy 28! AMEN. i really agree. its gonna be such an awesome year. (: and of course i didn't just ask god for 3 things i want to see come to pass next year, but so so so much more. (: and he is faithful - cos every year end, i get to cross out a whole bunch of stuff off that list. (: really - the amount of dreams fulfilled and everything - its just overwhelming - our god is really so awesome. (:
