Em, Elise, my mom and me decided to take the kids to the zoo... it was a lot of fun! Luckily it was really good weather. The zoo is pretty dang fun when there isn't a huge crowd and when its not sweltering hot!

... and this is how Dane spent most of the day :)... he was such a good boy! I think he liked getting some fresh air as much as the rest of us did.
The Saturday before Easter Grandma Kathy and G. Brad had a way fun Easter egg hunt and cookout at their house. I was SO happy that it was decent weather because the kids had been looking forward to this for days!... The older kids were split up- boys on a team (Brady and Cole) and the girls on another (Brenna and Kenzie). They were given clues and had an Easter egg treasure hunt!- this is G. Kathy giving the instructions :)
Evvie was super lucky... she got to go around and just find any egg she wanted (and there were plenty!)
