I sent Shaun with the camera to Syd's game and this is the only picture he came home with.

Soccer is our life (for the next month anyway)
This is what we do every Saturday. We head to Logan for Sydnee's competition soccer game at 8:30 am. Then its straight back home as Sydnee and Breanna both play indoor soccer with the city league in the afternoon. Sydnee also has a weekday game and 2 weekday practices that we go to Logan for. A lot of driving that's for sure, but she loves to play and seems to be one of the stars of the team. City league is great and they both enjoy it. First are some pictures of Sydnee's comp team.

Just Peachy!!!
Peach Days has arrived in Brigham City!!! This is the biggest event of the year here. One of the big deals is the "Peach Queen". They have a pageant for the college bound girls and the "Junior Peach Queen" pageant for all 5 year old girls. This year there was 60 5 year olds!! Wow. They draw names out of a bowl at the end to choose the attendants and the 'Queen'. Brooklyn's name wasn't chosen, but she still ended up with a lovely crown and necklace. And she gets to ride on the train for the big parade on Saturday. She can hardley wait for that.

Okay, so we had to do the makeup thing... at least we didn't do false eyelashes or anything major like that. We just did the lovely blue eyeshadow and a little blush. Oh, don't forget the lipgloss!

Here she is on stage after receiving her crown and necklace.

This is the last year's Peach Queen giving her the necklace and this is where she got to stand for about one minute while they read some little tidbits about her such as her family and pets and her favorite things. Notice the camcorder below? This guy recorded all 60 girls... that will be a snoozer to watch in about 10 years. He will wonder why the heck he ever did that!!
This is at the end. They all come out and sing a little song and wait for their names to be drawn. What fun.
