2. Become a better cook

Graduation
My University of Wyoming graduation was much better than I imagined that it would be last weekend. I was treated very well by the University of Wyoming's staff and I'll always appreciate a few specific UW employees for making several phone calls to ensure that there was a wheelchair ramp available for me to get on the stage at the Arena Auditorium in Laramie and also providing with information about the campus activities that were happening to honor the graduates to make me aware of those events. I very much appreciated that the University of Wyoming allowed Sheila to be my escort during the commencement ceremony because being able to share several once in a lifetime memorable moments with her made it an unbelievably special experience for me that I'm truly grateful for...
I wasn't expecting to be selected as the UW featured student for a Laramie Boomerang newspaper article but I mainly enjoyed being interviewed for the article because it allowed me to recognize my moms for the effort that they've put into helping me be successful in life on the Mother's Day weekend. I've been told that article will be in the Star Valley and Jackson newspapers this week as well for anyone interested. I know I was the person that received the recognition for this accomplishment, but I also realize that my family and closest friends have significantly helped me to get to this point in my life.
A few days before my mom died she had a long talk with me about what my goals were for the rest of my life. One of my goals growing up was to some day earn a degree from a university, originally I had intended it to be BYU since I've been watching BYU games for as long as I can remember. My mom told me that she wanted me to continue my education if I had an opportunity. So my main motivation was remembering how much my mom wanted graduating from a university to become a reality for me.
Here are some of the pictures from the Arts & Sciences commencement ceremony at the Arena Auditorium and a wonderful weekend in Laramie...

My family gave me a nice frame for my diploma that's currently in my living room unless I decide that there's a better place in my house for it...
