Surprise!!!

Well, I am about to be 30 on the 30th:) My mom and sister came and got me Saturday morning. Chris and Avery had left saying they had to run errands and I was just about to get ready for the day when the doorbell rang. They told me I had 20 minutes to get ready. They took me to Neimans and we went and had our toes done. They really pamper you!!! After that we went and looked at sunglasses because that is what I wanted for my birthday. I found a cute pair. After that we went and had lunch at the Zodiac room at Neimans. They told me someone would be coming and my best friend since SECOND grade surprised me. It was so nice that Erin was able to come and join us for lunch. What a fun day and a BIG surprise.

Happy 3rd Birthday Brooks!!!!

Last night we went to our friends Brooks Gages' 3rd Birthday party. It was such a neat park in Frisco that has a water park and playground right next to each other. Avery enjoyed trying it all out. She was a little afraid of the water at first, but then loved playing in it.

2-year stats!

I forgot to put this on the blog last week after Avery's doctors appointment.
She weighs 24.6 lbs and is 33 3/4 inches long.
That puts her in the 10% for weight and 50% for height.

Avery's big girl bed!

Well, I just started working on Avery's big girl bed. She doesn't not like sheets on her right now and she got in the bed and tested it out to see what she thought. I am going to have it painted and have some work to do, but I just started picking out the fabric and getting started. Hopefully she will like it:)

Happy Late 4th of July!!!

I hope everyone had a nice 4th! My parents had about 60 people over to their house for the second annual fish fry! As you can see by the pictures my dad hurt his shoulder 2 weeks ago. He fell and it is broken in 3 places. We pray he does not have to have surgery, but he is under the watch of a very special doctor (my mom's boss):):) She has been wonderful to help him.
