The Pending Jakz Trip Episodes...
I would like to say a thousand of apologies for the delayed update for the Jakz Trip that took place in August. To be brief, It's a shopping Paradise! But erm, the detailed story will be below this mini paragraph. Not all the episodes are in this entry though, just the first day of the whole trip!
Day 1: The Touch Down
Bandung, Jakarta
There were five of us. My Parents, my Brother-in-law's parents and I took the budget airline flight known as Valuair. It wasn't too bad for a budgeted flight as we had bread for starters and plain water. I mean I didn't expect more for a budgeted airline. After all, the trip from Singapore to Jakarta was only 1 hr 20min or so. The flight wasn't that smooth as there were too much of the turbulences. However, the landing was good. :)
After the touch down, we met sis and my bro-in-law at the arrival area where there was this blue van happen to be waiting for us. I was a little amused by the name of the company that was stated on the van. "BIG BIRD". My first thought was Sesame Street's Big Bird. But then, Big Bird was comfortable enough to sit in. It brought us to a small sized "restoran" to have brunch. It was Nasi Ayam. The Ayam (Chicken) was nice, but i personally felt the Vegetables were lil uncooked. Overall, the food was average in taste but Super Pedas! (HOT!). After that the van headed straight to an area in Jakarta known as Bandung.

The journey took about 2.5 hrs to reach to our hotel, which was the Grand Hyatt hotel. Trust Me, that hotel is nothing that fantastic in terms of the room interior. The restaurant wasn't that good as well. The food's expensive for its quality. Hmmm, wonder why would a 5 star hotel wanna have such faults.
When my bro-in-law was checking in at the counter, I just happen to start taking some close up shots of the deco in the hotel itself. I was a lil bored waiting for the room, so here are some of the shots taken in the hotel lobby.

To be Honest with you, they actually asked us to do the tea by ourselves. Dun ask why it looks like this. Seriously.
The Family who regretted eating lunch there. :P
But anyway, they have got services like body massages and stuff. Mum and Dad did their leg and shoulder massage in their room. I grabbed the chance to do a full aromatheraphy massage in the massage centre in the hotel itself. And it was damn bloody good and damn bloody cheap!!!! Ok ok, it's the start of the excitement of spending. But I better not continue this now, I shall save it for the end!

Hehe...I took this because I thought the setting of the light against the curtains were giving me this calm relaxed feel. :P
It was reaching dinner time. We were recommended by the massuer to head to a restaurant known as "Da Atmosphere". To my suprise, the place was seriously exquisite and it was looking very ravishing indeed. The Setup was perfect. I felt like I was in some tranquiled area, by sitting in such a lovely looking place.

Our Dinner was Fantastic!!!
Dinner was Western Cusine. The food was superb. The pricing was far better off then the hotel's restaurant itself. I really loved that place. But once we entered our hotel rooms, we were flat on the bed. Too much food for the day I think!
