Happy birthday to BF
The man of my life turned 27! i knew bf when he was only 14.. Gosh... we were still kids! hahaha. Though we were already hopping around in the same clique then, bf and i did not officially dated till we graduated from secondary school.. It was a blessing i had him in my life, being the unexpressive guy and the paranoid girl, we grew to love each other the way we are. Love dissolves flaws. =)

True Love
I met 2 lovely girls on my Paris flight. We spent all the time in paris together, shopping and dining. We had some wines over dinner, and we shared stories about our life.
This girl shared hers and it touched me to my bone marrows. what is the meaning of true love? Her story depicts all. She was 21, he was 23. They met, dated and fell in love like others. Less than 1 year into their courtship, the guy at 24, was diagnosed skin cancer. shakened by the news, the girl stood by him. Trust me, it is not easy to take care of a sick person because they are going to be physically and mentally unwell. Throwing tantrums, sucidal thoughts, depression, physically unfit, and hospital became your only place for dates. these are definitely not easy to manage. whilst taking of his emotions, you have to manage your own. then came financial issues... She was already flying then, going on long flights but fearing to lose your loved one here, yet she cant stop working because she needed the $$. She ever flew back from Los angeles after receiving a call from his mum the doctors resuscitated him. But the flight was 24hours long. imagine the tormenting 24hours, without phone service. thankfully he persevered. When things were improving, there came a second blow where he had a relapse and the cancer cells spreaded. His condition worsened and he had to undergo chemotherapy and radiotherapy. god witnessed their love, and gave them another chance. he survived the therapies.
7years of torture, 7years of sleepless nights but 7years of true love. The girl did not leave him. 7years later, he is under the remission phase now. still holding on to each other, he proposed and she agreed. They are happily married now.
After being through all the difficulties, nothing else can pull them apart now.
I am sure life can only be better from now. They will live the rest of their lives happy and healthy.
Her story triggers me to reflect on myself. Some things in life you only cherish when you are losing it. And sometimes we are so blessed that we whined over trival issues.

I just did brisbane with batchgirl venie again! =) she swapped her perth to my brisbane. love her la! muacks. we had fun as usual, dinner at nandos, then bunked in at night. Then we did some mad shopping the following day! got some really good deals in guess boutique! i spent my entire brisbane allowance! but all worthwhile and i am extremely happy! with her companion, nothing else matters.
oh oh... by the way i wayang quite a bit on the flight to brisbane, because i know i was on check. =p bleah. and it earned me more than a superbly good check. =) i hope i was not overly pretentious. lol.

i just completed my standby week! and i am glad for the standby callups. first was 1 day standby, called for kl turn. then 2 days standbys, called for bkk turn that touched down at 0025. in other words i earned an off day! and and it did not disrupt my paris flight, and i am in town over the weekend to celebrate bestie jasmine's birthday! what can be better? i am so blessed.
