London
For the past 2.5years of flying, this is my first sq318, though london is not a new station for me. This sq318 has good allowances, $1.8k for a 5 days flight! And i had some flattering admiration on this flight. =)
I enjoyed myself very much on this flight, because i have 3 lovely girls with me.. vivian whom i flew with at least 5 times =D, fenni and soo from 948, 4 batches away from me. of course i knew these girls before the flight! hence, the 4 of us were in our own world.. =p This is an emotional flight for me. i had listening session and dealing with emotions most of the time. do not get me wrong, the flight consisted of extremely nice set of crew members, from the ifs to the non ranking. The ifs quote, "lets just have a good time tog!" he is simply corny and fatherly. during the briefing on the standby day in london, we had a good laugh.
Anyway i was listening to some unfortunate love stories, i felt for them and i was moved to tears. blinded by love, many a time we do not realise that our loved ones so close to us changed drastically that the change was horrifying when we realised it. The ignorant, innocent one we knew 10 years ago, how it all started, falling in love and exploring new things together. Then one day, you realised everything diminished. 7 years is not a short time, it is 7 years of youth, 7 years of trust, 7 years of love, 7 years of memories that was drowned overnight. how could he change like this? does he regret? does he reminisc the good old days? does he miss me?
I am fortunate i am a listener, not the victim this time. As she shared with me, she teared.. and i teared with her.. from the ignorant schoolmate, to the the man of your life, and now back to a stranger who is so horribly evil. this is scary. =(

i will be leaving for london tommorow morning. Though i have quite a few friends with me on the flight, i kinda dread being away again. dont ask me why. like bf says, i am contradicting.
sometimes i find it very hard to relate the exact feelings about flying to my close ones whom are doing on-ground jobs. its like emotional rides every week, feeling lonely, lousy, nervous, dread, sick, happy, excited, all come together that sometimes i realise because of flying i am becoming more tempremental. i used the word "more" because i admit i am already one, the situation just worsened.
i hate painting my nails red, i hate spraying my hair with bottles of stinko hairspray which cause me baldness now, i hate being suffocated under the body-hugging kebaya, i hate that opera makeup, i dread packing and unpacking every other day, i am sick of moving my cargo luggage up and down my stairs from the bedroom to living room, i hate the pretentious smile i have to put on. i just want to complain!
the money is good, the off days are wonderful, working hours are lesser than any ground jobs, but the working hours are so iregular that you have to miss wonderful public holidays with family and friends. my driving instructor told me, "do not think that you will not get equilvalent pay outside, you are just using time to buy money. In five years time, i am sure with the degree cert and work experience by then, you will definitely fetch a higher pay than sq now." obviously he thinks that flying is not for graduates... but again nowadays the population of graduates contributes at least half of the total number of crew members.
well well, its just me feeling lousy about flying occassionally.
i will still continue to fly though, at least for a good 5 years. =D

Life has been comfortable for me. other than excessive hair loss, lousy driving, busy schedule of flights, everything else is alright... flying roster for june is out, but aircrew was critically slow the past few days!
as usual, i see my besties almost everyday when i am in sin. we did some casual shopping few weeks back..

Followed by a simple dinner at jeff choo chalet house. First picture with bestie ting's chopped hair. =D
i celebrated dad's birthday and mothers day with mum and grandma too! 1 stone killed 3 birds! smart! =D it was a sumptuous dinner, followed by a mini celebration at home. my mum wanted a hello kitty phone for present! -_- she is more passionate about kitty than me!
The besties took a day off on 14may friday together! and we went for kite flying at marina barrage, dinner at imm's ichiban, then sum the day with mahjong. =D

i just returned from my 4 days moscow, pax up and work back, with transport both ways.. and i simply love paxing! for the first time, i did not step out of the hotel at all! seriously even india stations, i will go out for a meal... reasons being firstly i was sick... secondly, though i've been to the red square many times, i dont mind going again since someone organised, but unfortunately it was closed for some eventful day. and lastly, i was very well equipped with my drystores.. =) but i did had buffet breakfast at the hotel's restuarant with the crew, and used my laptop at the lobby with fannie for a good few hours. we shared alot about relationship, blogshops and so on... at least i did not stay in my room throughout.. now i begin to understand the life of an experienced cabin crew. i used to wonder how can some senior crew not step out of their room for an entire 4 days?! unknowingly, i think i am getting there! gosh... lol... and it actually feels good to rest and relax throughout the whole stay. its an energy replenishing flight.. =)
its mother's day and dad's birthday celebration tonight... my mum wants a hello kitty phone for mothers day. -_- we know she always has this liking for hello kitty, but i never know she is more passionate than me! lol.....
cant wait to see bf tonight.. been 5 days since i saw him... =)
