I suddenly recall a weird dream i had when i was snoozing in london. i dreamt of the final moments on earth.. the -end of the world- dream was so real that i really felt i was dying. just before the disaster strikes, i had my final wishes reflected right in my face, all i want is to have my loved ones beside me and hoping to hold on to each other as we die. i looked around for them. first, came bf. yes i found him and held onto him tight. then i looked around again, my family, mum, dad, sis and bro, then i looked again, for my besties, i found them. and just before i could look for more precious people, the snowstorm came and i was swept away. but but i was thankful at that very moment because i know people whom i love were with me, then i shut my eyes..... scary... yes... it was! i thought i was so near to death then the phone rang... only then i realised it was a dream! a frightening dream but brings me thinking about the important people in my life.
anyway this time i am gonna bring you to explore perth... i had a 2 days perth, but the set of crew were so spontaneous! we went straight after touchdown, the 2 pilots rented a car and drove us to fremantle. there were a total of 7 us for tour of perth.

us all excited for the tour...
we were given jus a torch to walk around the prison in total darkness led by our guide. pretty scary but we enjoyed.

the cell
if your offence is not severe, you share the cell with another.
some of the cell were painted beautifully by prisoners themselves.
after the tour, we headed to king's park, saw the whispering walls and the state war memorial.. interesting!

almost to the end of our perth evening tour.... big smile on shandy's face.
its was our offday! and my dearest batchgirls meet up for dim sum lunch and shopping for cargo as well as discussion for our holiday trip. we changed from korea to taipei!! woohoo! cant wait!

I finally started my driving lessons... after procrastinating for 6years... i did my basic theory 6years ago when bestie ting insisted i go for the test with her. and after that i stopped, till few months back when i finally plucked my courage to learn how to drive. i am still very scared whenever i am on the road but the instructors from bbdc were nice and patient enough for me. haha. i did a few stunts, mounted the kerb in the circuit, almost hit another car on the road, engine stall many many times on the road, but i shall not give up. if others take 1 year to learn, i shall take 2 years to learn.. though i am still far away from qualifying for the tp test, for once i am determined to get the license..... just because i need to use this skill one day, i am very sure..
I just returned from london.. though i did not do any sightseeing during the flight, but i was very occupied throughout my 3 days stay in london. the first day was lunch with the crew at the famous duck rice at bayswater gold mine, shopping at primark, and drinks at the hotel's bar. my first time trying the blackcurrent guiness stout and i like it! =) oooo... and and... the moment my cs stepped into the briefing room, he looked at me, and both of us burst into laughter.. because he was the one who did joburg with me, and during the joburg flight we hanged out most of the time, gambling and drinking. hence likewise this time for the london flight, we gathered to drink and played dice games at the bar for both nights. he is one of the nicest and funniest cs i met. of course charming in his own way too... he is so fun to be with, that i often forget he is my superior. if he was 10years younger, i am sure we will be great pals. hahaha.... back to the iternaries when i was in london, i caught the musical play -the lion king-. th props, the hall, the gimmicks, the dance, the casts, the costumes were magnificent, jaw dropping good! the sgd $120 was well spent i felt. as we are gonna change hotel in london soon, the 3 of us went to muffin man for breakfast on the third day, our first and perhaps last time dining in the cosy little cafe. i will miss the muffins with bacon and eggs for sure, they were so soft... -drools-
as usual i made really good friends on the flight, but as we started getting closer, its the end of the trip already. sigh... good times pass so fast, but memories stay... the saddest part about flying is, there is hardly eternal friendship.. maybe because of that, i do cherish the short time spent with nice people outstations, and of course the precious time i have in singapore. flying makes my life flips pages by pages so rapidly, it gets a little scary at times. this job may not be the most challenging, brainy or fulfilling job but this is one of easiest job which brings you all over the globe. weighing the pros and cons of flying again, shandy becomes confused yet again.
well well... i need to hit the sack soon.. to sum the post i shall put a picture taken with my besties during one of the ktv session we had yesterday. i love bf and i love my friends... =)

dubai-riyadh
Its been a while since i had massive drinking sessions outstation. This flight was one of the easiest flight i've done, dubai-riyah 4 days with only operating on ridayh 1hour shuttle. =) we pax from sin-dubai, and dubai-sin. cool! and to add on the joy, i worked in business class and the load were extremely light! perhaps due to the light workload, all of us were excited and happy, dining and drinking sessions were organised for both nights.
the first night we had drinks till 2am. and the second night we had drinks till 6am! gosh. altoghter there were at least 20 of us because there were so many sets of crew but the more the merrier, we had fun!! =) bertram my ex teamboi joined us for drinking on the 2nd night. it was nice catching up again, laughed over the slightest joke after alcohol intoxication. hahaha.. yesh tipsy high, but i still remember something he said the night which gets me thinking... "we broke off because we did not move on anymore." hey guys of course i dont refer to bf and i, but my career again... you know afterall there must be a reason why so many crew detest the job so much, and why the turnover rate for cabin crew is so high... there are plenty unspoken issues/facts about flying.
the junior fss challenged the ifs. hee.
new york fries in dubai mall, i miss it soo much!
i returned to singapore this morning, and i am so touched when bf fetched me from the airport at 7.30am. given the fact he has to work later in the day, he still wakes up, took 45mins to the airport from jurong then 45mins back to jurong again. after he saw me home safely, he took a nap before waking up for work at 9am again. bf, xin ku ni le. hee. sweet. love you bf. keep up the good work! lol.
though he is my bf for 7years already, but i always appreciate everything he does for me. one should never take the other for granted yea? even when the status changes to married... when you start taking each other for granted, that is also when the relationship fail? anyway i hear lotsa stories about broken marriages and failed long run relationships the past few days. with sudden emotions growing, i told bf, " bf, no matter what happen in future, lets hold on to each other and remind each other the tough times we braved through together yea?" he returned with, "ok i will hold your hands tonight." -_-
ever since i am 380 trained, i only see london and more londons in every month's roster. shrugs. i am so sick of it and thus i am giving it away for short flights in apr. but i am heading to london in 2 days time. haa... and we made plans already to stonehenge!! =))

Just a random thought of the day after reading lindy's blog, what are exactly my goals in life?what do i want to achieve in life?
save money for CASSIS? save money for my future family? get a job that is meaningful enough? continue to fly and work aimlessly everyday?
if i say i dont know, does it reflect how ignorant and hollow a 25 year old woman is?
