my schedule was pretty hectic throughout the entire chinese new year period, and without realising it is the last day of cny!!

12feb2010: reunion dinner with bf's family
13feb2010: reunion dinner with my family
14feb2010 1st day of cny: grandma's place

15feb2010 2nd day of cny: bestie kate's and hui's place, followed by my place.

i touched down on the eve of cny, all excited to welcome my 10 days unpaid leave for cny. things always happen when you least want it. i fell ill on cny eve, feverish, giddiness, sore throat, flu, body ache, vomiting, tummy upset, you name it, i have it. sigh. i insisted on self medicating untill the 2nd day of cny, finally i was successfully persuaded by bf to visit the doctor. after i returned from bestie kate's place, i went back home to get my staff id. and guess what.. once i stepped out of bf's car, i was attacked by bird's poo poo. omg omg.. how bad can my day be?! so i went back home to change my clothes. that was my 2nd set of clothing for cny day 2. we proceeded to at least 6 clinics before we finally found a neighbourhood hospital that was opened for consultation. my temperature was taken, with fever i still did the neccessary visiting and preparation because i have a big group of guests at my place that night. however, just before i reached home, i puked in bf's car. that was my final lap of trying to appear tough and well. oh and to make things worse, the plastic bag which bf handed to me gave way. disgusting, i know. then i went home, dashed to the bathroom, got myself cleaned and collapsed on my bed. i was totally unconscious when my friends and relatives came for cny gambling. thankfully my friends were my besties for 11years, they entertained themselves comfortably at my place. then the third day of cny, i was supposed to pay a visit to bf's god mummy's place. but i was so sick, bf suggested i stay home to recuperate asap because the following day, also the fourth day of cny, i am leaving for bangkok with my besties and bf for short vacation.

still unwell, i left for bangkok. it was a good trip, but it could have been better if i wasnt sick. the photos were all uploaded in facebook already. =)

with approximate 3k for 4 of us, we live like kings and queens there. we had sumptuous meals all the time; lobster feast, bird nest feast, shark fins feast and staying in a 5 star hotel with continuous shopping spree and lotsa sightseeing!!

when i returned from bangkok, it was already the 7th day of cny. we had the annual besties "lao yu sheng" the night we were back. =)

then i went for my zurich flight, with my best friend of the flight, yeeling. =) we visited mount rigi, lucern and geneve in switerzland. beautiful!!! and again the 400photos taken were uploaded in facebook already. yay.

depressed?!

Shandy is feeling upset, but she doesn't know the reason.

I took unpaid leave for chinese new year, all together of 10 days. i was so unlucky, i fell sick from the first day of my leave which is also cny eve. sigh. for the entire 10 days, i havent feel normal. i felt better towards end of my leave, but i still dont feel entirely healthy. erm... erm....

then after the 10 days leave, i went for my flight to zurich.. and i felt upset and depressed, but i just couldnt figure the reason of the bad feeling. help!!

oh my goodness, when can i recover?

The worst pick-up line..... "Hey! Are you bored? Wanna go for a ride?" When obviously i was in my shop alone, and i am the only sales person the entire day. -_-

Chinese new year is just around the corner! cant wait to do my last flight and there comes my 10 days leave for chinese new year. But again the sooner my leave arrives, means the sooner it will be over. and i just hate being back to reality. =(

my sisters and i have been mending the shop on our own because our sales person went for vacation. hmmm... what a good timing, just before cny, where we are the most busy...

as usual bf always fetches me to/fro work. i know it requires a lot of effort to do so, afterall i stay in jurong, not tampines. the furthest i can get in s'pore from the airport. lol. i appreciate that, really. =)

i am so random.. lol.

a week in spore!

I've a week in singapore due to gained off days from change of flights. =) i had rest days in singapore from monday to thursday, i took a few lessons from bbdc, had dinner everyday with bf and his family, did spring cleaning, shopping for cny, mahjong sessions twice in the week with besties + bfs. i meet up with sweetheart batchgirls too.. the usual dinner and coffee date. time files we are 2 years with singapore airlines already!! few already resigned... hmm..

then friday i had my recurrent sep in stc with jenn and valerie (donna's wifey, teehee..) we were so happy to be rostered together!! office hour is seriously a chore, waking up early and the traffic are dreading factors. anyway i was relieved and happy i passed all the 6 quizes for the sep, and the slide jump is over! oh did i mention, i met kelvin again, one of the pilot who did dubai-moscow with me long time back. been almost 1.5 years since we flew together, but i always see him, once at queenway, a few times at the airport. hee.. so when we see each other in the room for recurrent sep briefing, the first thing we said to each other was, "you again?!" lol.

5 of us rostered for the recurrent sep were rostered for kl turn on sat together. So yea i did a kl turn on saturday... and returned to sin at 10pm. bf fetched me from the airport and sent me to bestie hui's place. the girls planned a girlie affair, to sleep over at her place because jeff choo is away for sailing. =) so we restricted the guys from joining us. but but.... they are such pestering people... we shoved them out of the house, told them to have their guys date out, but in the midst of our girlie affair, the guys returned with a bottle of chivas. so the night ended with 4 girls having 24 cans of beer and 5 guys with a big bottle of chivas. yea.. half drunk, we called it a night at 4.30am. and in the end, all the girls went home with our bfs. there goes our planned girlie sleepover. ha. nevertheless the night was still filled with laughter and craps. i love my friends.

today is sunday, and its my rest day again! woohoo! and tommorrow will be another day in stc for first aid revision.. then a saigon turn on tuesday, be in my shop on wed, another turn on thurs, followed by my chinese new year leave! excited for all the gambling, drinking and then my bangkok short trip. =)

eventful flight

I just returned from Paris with batchgirl venecia and neighbour batchboy gary. France is a nice place, but french are rude towards asians. Even macdonalds' counter staff despise us for no reason. Hello!! We are earning so much more than you! Pardon me for the harsh remark, you will probably say the same when you experience their hostile attitude. They cant make my day a bad one if i just dont be too bother by them yea? Anyway venie, gary and i are best at being in our own world. lol... We were fortunate to be working in the business class together on the first sector, and economy class on the return sector. =)

On the sector to paris, i gave exclusive service to my VIPs in business class, and one of them mistook me as soliciting for ulterior motive. Towards the end of the flight, he gave me his namecard and ask to see me at his hotel?! -_-

Then on the return sector, i had the weirdest pax profile in my zone. One drug addict who appeared unruly and one female pax who thought she was the only pax onboard and wanted so much attention just for herself she forgets she was in the economy class. omg. when did shandy become so bitchy! haha. anyway the female pax asked for my name. Just because she asked me for a couple of sweets 10mins before landing, the seat belt sign was already on and i was setting the cabin for landing. i made her waited for 5mins, after the cabin was set, i went back to the galley to bring her the sweets, she was thus unhappy for the 5mins wait as she claimed her ears hurt and i should attend to her immediately. This is seriously the first time a pax asked for my name but for a negative reason. And for the most absurd reason. -_-

one of our crew was robbed, she lost her passport and other important documents apart from money. sigh. actually she changed for the flight for shopping somemore. and as the incident happened on the first day, she has so much to do the following day; visiting the s'pore embassy in paris and getting the incident reported, she didnt even have time, let alone the mood to shop. =(

This set of crew was not very desirable. We had a notorious ifs and a lazy ls. the rest were nice.

Despite the unhappy incidents, i had a good time with sweetheart venie and neighbour batchboy gary in paris.

After a 13hours flight, 4 hours of rest, what's next? To fulfil our craving for paris's famous mussels! woohoo!!
