Shanghai with my dearest Donna
Yes yes i am so addicted to flying with people i know. my batchgirls especially my famous five. In a way this is how i maintain our friendship, in the midst of the hectic flying schedule, we dont lose each other. Like what donna says, even though its jus a short 3 days flight, people may ask why make the hassle to change flight to fly together?! to them its just 3 days, but to both of us it makes a huge difference. having each other around feels totally different, at least i no longer dread reporting for flight knowing my love ones are with me. and i dont have to battle with the awful loneliness that creeps in once in a while when i am overseas.
We had a good 2 hours of massage for only S$26. Cheap thrill! haha. Donna and me had a hearty lunch at the famous bi feng tang - shanghai xiao long bao and all the yummylicious dim sum.. then we went shopping and camwhoring at the mall nearby. we even took a quick picture on a bike which was parked along the road. haha.. we satisfy our crave for ice cream with the gelato rose cone. check out the picture, its really nice how they shaped it into a stalk of rose. and and to sum our shanghai trip, we went to purchase vcds. hehex. how can we leave for home without vcds from shanghai yea.
they were pretty nice to us, only donna and me have neighbouring rooms. =) 631 for her, 632 for me! however we did not get a chance to work together. we took turns to work as b2 and in business class. the set of crew was nice. and overall it was a good flight. =)

First solo on 330
I did my first solo on A330 flight to adelaide. They were all very experienced crew members, the most junior besides me has at least 5 years with the company. so me being the baby on the flight again, i thought i will have to learn the hard way from stratch. it turned out vice versa. after the nasty cs i've met during my A330 training, i was indeed a little dissapointed with human, dissapointed with what my job makes a man to be, dissapointed with the culture, dissapointed with the old school thinking that still exist, definitely dissapointed with discrimination of junior crew from the new generation as emphasized by him/actually its her, ops. Once in a while, i get sick and tired of managing unreasonable and nasty people i met when i fly. but shortly afterwhich, i will meet really nice crew members onboard. This first set of A330 crew i've worked with to adelaide is one of them. they warmly welcomed me to the A330 family and were definitely patient in guiding me. Chief stewardess was acting ifs that day, she was such a darling. Chief steward was like my daddy, leading stewardess was a sweetheart, the nonranking were angels. they were sooo sooo nice. i worked as B4 on the return sector but was deployed to business class all the way because the load in economy class was only 100, and in business class it was almost full. i was a little nervous because i'm not very good in my premium class work yet. but i'm lucky to have such a nice set of crew with me in jclass. =)) happy shandy...
i had some flattering attention from a pax. haha. but it freaks me a little towards the end.
anyway it was a good flight to adelaide, i had good pork chop rice and shopping at my fav supre and valleygirl. i'm beginning to love 330 flights because they allow me to earn more for 3 days flights and most importantly i can shop and walk safely in aussie. =)

A330 trained
The non 744 trained are trained for 330 fleet. according to our trainer, 744 will be dropped from september 2009 onwards and they stopped training for 345 tentatively. anyway blessing in disguise for me, i will have more aussie and japan stations, and i dont have to do long haul flights. phew.. else my face will swell again.
the 3 days training was easy, 2nd day ended at 10.30am, and the 3rd day at 12pm. hahaha. early isnt it?! the 2nd day venie and i went to tampines 1 to shop bought quite a bit. then we took train to tiong bahru to wait for bf to pick me. the 3rd day venie accompanied me to meet deqing in the airport for a while. then he sent 2 of us to orchard, me meeting bestie ting and venie meeting her friends. both days, venie and i had dessert for tea time, at tampines mall and airport's swensens. =) the training was a good 3 relaxing days in town for me. it could have been better if not for someone's presence. anyway because of him, i have restless nights cracking my brain if i should write him in, cos he threatened to write us in claiming we wore "ultra mini skirt." it is extremely not justified for me and the rest because we wore knee length office dress. yes you are right, he is with a broken wrist. that explains his outrageous behavior and mean words he threw at us. and yea thats a picture of what i wore for evidence, to prove my innocence.
