miumiu
i meet up with batchgirls venecia and donna today at our usual hangout - westmall. and as usual we had coffee at coffee bean and some heartfelt conversation. i hope to see the rainbow after the storm soon! you'll get better dun worry. =) then fong jie and james fetched me from westmall, before we headed to vivocity to meet bf. we had some last min shopping for our taipei trip tmr! i'm so excited. =)) i just reached home about an hour ago, and miu miu is home, like finally. miu miu is our new pet puppy. sis bought it and today is her ist day at home. its so adorable and she is quite active but she does not bark which is something i like. ok i think i need to hit my bed now. will be back on 27feb.

time files.. it has been a year since i started flying. its time for kebaya fitting and collection of new sandals. hooray cos mine are beyond hope, even janey's uhu glue secret cant save them. haha. bf sent me to daintie dames at far east shopping centre for the first fitting. and the 2nd fitting is scheduled in may. goodness.. so girls better head down for fitting asap. along the way, i dropped by marilyn's workplace, passed her the things that i owed her months ago. its good to see her again! =) i did some shopping alone while waiting for venecia. i told bestie ting i'm not going to buy anything, cos i want to save the shopping for taipei. in the end... i bought 3dresses and a skirt. please kill me.
anyway venecia and i went to loyang to collect our sandals. and we heard some bad news from the sia supplies department and sia cargo tech crew dept. imagine the severity of the economic crisis. venie accompanied me to tampines for duplication of the sq keys again, cos i lost the previous set. then we chance on bi feng tang, the famous chinese restuarant in shanghai, apparently we arent sure if its the franchise, we gave it a try. my horfun is nice! =) as usual venecia and i had truckloads to share. we talked continuously for hours, and now my throat is burning. haha. i just visited the doctor, because i dont want the volcanic throat to accompany me to taipei. i want to have a good holiday, please let me recover fast! venie and i then continued for some shopping in town, before bestie ting and min came to meet me for more shopping. bf and hao fetched us from orchard, we summed the day with mahjong session at darling hui's place. we had mahjong sessions for the whole week. omg.
i'm so looking forward to see sweetheart donna on sat. =)) and then off to taipei for holiday on sun. i'll only be back on 27feb.

babies
i spend my valentines day with just a simple dinner with bf and family. then we (bf, hao, ting, weisen & wife, jasmine, shenglong, zhiqiang) gathered at darling aihui's place for mahjong again. valentine's day is a wonderful day as long as it is spend with my loved ones. actually gathering at hui's place became our routine. hee. in fact we jus did that the day before valentine's day. lol. like james and fong jie mentioned, everyday is valentine's day.
time files... my poly angels, weiling and debbie are both mothers now. i haven't seen them for soo long.. =x jus because i'm always all over the globe. anywayo its weiling's princess angeline's first month, finally i met up with them - weiling & hubby, debbie & alvin, meihui, xinying, weiping. where is my dearest nel and tan yizhen? hurhur... a pity they couldnt make it. anyway my god daughters desiree and angeline are really adorable! hugs. i'm sure both babies will be great frens in future, growing up together with mothers as good friends. =)

recurrent sep, mum's birthday
We had a mini birthday celebration for mum. We had actually planned for more, kfc feast + cake, but my outgoing mum said she has other plans; karaoke with her friends and she will only be home late for the cake cutting. Its her big day, as long as she is happy, we are fine with anything. Just that pardon us for our ugly-cannot-make-it faces, we just woke up from our sleep so as to be in time before the clock strikes the hour. anyway mum said her wishes for like 10mins long! the longest birthday wish ever! all of us burst into laughter. lol.
for the past 2 days, i was back in sia training centre and had my recurrent sep = safety emergency procedures. i am very fortunate to have batchger evon and jenn with me. it turned out to be not as dreading as i thought. =) and both days we ended early. i did 2 quizzes, and jumping from the aircraft into the pool + swimming on day 1. then I did first aid cpr, first aid quiz, door operation and command, fire fighting and dangerous goods handling on day 2. and I passed all! Phew~ and I’m so glad its over, and I can gladly enjoy my leave… Woo~

8days dubai istanbul
we were having lunch at the all time fav crew joint silver eagle. =)
then we proceeded to al mamzar beach park. we played captain's ball, monkey ball and recruited nikita who is from russia as our teammates. the following day we had muscles ache. lol.

the beach is beautiful with swings and the blue sea. don't you think so?
to kill time while waiting for sun set, we did jump shots, funny shots, silly shots, somersault in the beach and more phototakings.
finally, the sun is setting. all the wait was worth to catch a glimpse of the lovely scene.
then more silly phototakings...
we set off at 4.30am in the following morning for our hotair balloon adventure, so that we were in time for sun rise in the sky. =)
there were a total of 3 balloons flying off tog, we were in the 2nd one. check out the ist balloon, it has jus taken off. =)
our turn....
the following day in istanbul (turkey), we were extremely afraid of robbers and rapist as we've heard lotsa stories about them. being extremely intimidated, we wrapped our arms around our bags at all times, we walked in a big group, and we do not allow the locals to come near us. haha. they must be thinking we are crazy. lol. u have to see how paranoid we were, and you will definitely find it hilarious.
anyway we visited sofya museum, blue mosque, topkapi palace and archaelogy museum. =)
this is one of my happiest flight, since my moscow houston. =) it was fullfilling with many many photos taken (almost 2000), and i had a great set of crew, with great friends made. the last sector we returned to dubai, we stayed in dubai's angsana apartment hotel. the room is beautiful and extremely comfortable. it feels like i'm staying overseas for a moment. it has a kitchen, a living room and a bedroom. it is the same for all crew members. how cool. and there is microwave, washer, dryer, tea maker, electric stove, pans and pots, knives, 2 lcd tvs, dvd player, touchscreen handset for lightings adjustment. oh my god. it is simply heavenly. and because we had such a nice room, we decided to party! we cooked spag, cheese potatoes and ice cream cake! i wish i could stay in the hotel longer.
but i had a little homesick cos afterall it was 8 days away from home. bf sms me on my last day, he said, "gf, i think its time for you to come home." =)) i know he miss me, and he decided to express it in another way. hee.
