i hate it when it triggers my inner feelings. i hate people to know the genuine shandy. i don't like to disclose my inner self, the vulnerable me. to many, i appeared to be outspoken and forthcoming. but if you know me well, which i can firmly say, perhaps only my king understands me inside out, the things that i don't share, are the things that really affects me.
i put on a smile to hide my discomfort, i talk alot when i feel awkward, i laugh and make it a joke when i am embarrassed.
but when people expose me, when someone talks about things that hit the nail in my heart, i will get emotional, rapidly. my tears will disobey me speedily. when i want to swallow them most, they will fall uncontrollably. i hate it. i went to help out at the temple event yesterday and today. the 3rd ah pek spoke to my king and i individually about our relationship in the long run = marriage. ah pek touched on the most sensitive topic that has been buried secretly in my heart. the section that i hope i have amnesia and forgets all. maybe to many others, it seems like an insignificant history which should long be forgotton. i wish so too. but wounds with regards to the heart takes forever to heal. i've already forgive him definitely. but the horrible fear is still somehow creping in a corner. even till today when i read my old handwritten diary on the days that i endured the heartbreaking news, the pain is still vivid.
friends always see me as the happiest girl in love. some said my encounter is peanuts in comparison to theirs. but how do we really determine the pain. there is no measure for heartaches, isn't it? to you it may be easy, to me it is extremely difficult. get the drift? we dont compare feelings because we can't compare them.
i am getting emotional. i think the quiet night is the culprit. rake my feelings and gives me wild thoughts.
regardless of everything i've ranted, i'm still thankful god granted me with bf.

I'm waiting for bf to pick me now.. he said his car will be too warm for me to sit in cos it has been under the sun the whole morning, hence he will on the aircon for a while first before he rings me to go down. awww... so sweet right? hehe. ~maybe he is jus covering for himself because he is late!~ wahaha i shall pardon him since he came up with such a sweet excuse. its his off day today, as well as my first day of annual leave. yes annual leave again! =) i will be kept occupied with some temple events for the next few days. of course i will be doing it together with bf, leefong jie, james, darling hui, jeff choo, darling min and all the friends i've met from the temple.
i went to look for venecia at control yesterday. she was one of the crew members whose roster was affected due to the shut down of bangkok airport. her bkk-narita was cancelled! and control called her up for bombay! my goodness.. she was so mad thus she called me to whine.. i can imagine her frustration! aw~ and after she left for bombay, i saw from the news, terrorist attacked bombay the day she went! omg... glad that she is safe home now.
i had a good dhaka overnight turn yesterday. surprisingly. but unfortunately the cmiv system decided to rebel. we had to do live safety demo. haha. its many of our virgin time doing it live. and its so lucky for liling, its her first solo! its already bad to get dhaka turn for first solo, and now she has to do live safety demo! nevertheless, it turned out to be rather fun. i love my chief stewardess! she is sooo funny can. she makes our day. the flight was an enjoyable one. credits to her and all the crew members. =)
i saw the circulars, we will be trained for 744 and 330 soon. omg! i'm excited yet a little nervous for the new change. but it also means i will be seeing my dearie batchmates soon! yeppee...

I just did a denpasar (bali) turn with clair from batch 948 together with a great set of crew. my chief (ifs-to-be) is such a nice man, i enjoyed working with him. hope i get to fly with him again when he is promoted. i remember the other day when we visited miss tan and her new class in stc, venie and i were asked to give some working tips to her trainees. and she posted a question to us, so how are the crew members? my reply was, "90% are nice, 10% are the black sheeps." indeed, some people can be so nice, whilst some are extremely terrifying. i wonder why. anyway i'll be doing a dhaka overnight nite turn later. hope the crew members will be as nice as my denpasar turn. this is the shortcoming of the job as a crew, we are always hoping and wishing we will meet nice crew members for each flight. the uncertainty can be tormenting sometimes particularly when we are new. but in this way, we learned how to deal with people better.
I've been a good healthy girl lately.. i went jogging twice in a stretch of 6days, under the influence of my dearest bf. first was badminton and jogging with bf, leefong jie, james and ah pat. yesterday i went jogging alone while bf, hao and dingxiang was having a game of badminton. i love the running tracks in the new stadium at jurong west. i did 7 rounds this time. =) i will push for more next time. at least my running gears sponsered by bf came in use more often now. hehe.
after the little workout, bf and i sent ah pat home. and we proceeded for changi's branded nasi lemak. alright fine, there goes my hard work for jogging. =x dear stayed over at my place yesterday night. he gave me a peck on my forehead before we turned in. how sweet. i love my king. =)
mummy is protesting. she insisted for a family dinner and supermarketing this sunday. reason being i spent last sunday with bf's family + his gan mummy's family for dinner at holland village. hahaha...

Hurhur.. i didnt manage to change for chloe's cairo. the girl changed her mind. =( i am back to my denpasar turn and dhaka turn. but i managed to change to an auckland flight with my dear gd fren tanny on 17dec to 20dec. and someone also offered to give me joburg with batchmate janey. =)
cof is so fun, but yes i gotta agree with chloe, it can be quite energy depleting too. it is not always easy to change, especially we are only single fleet non premium class trained. but humans cherish when its hard to come ya. haha..
i met up with batchger venecia yesterday. we chatted continously from the moment we met. we had a good laugh too. we had a tedious walk because it has been a while we were in our heels. i must really thank her for walking the whole stc with me to get my academic qualifcation updated finally. =) a little increment for me! yoohoo.. we collected our confirmation letter which comes with a certificate and visited miss jane tan too. we do miss those days in training, though it was pretty hectic. venie and i proceeded to tampines to get our sq bar keys duplicated. it was a fulfiling day indeed. i headed to meet dear, leefong jie, james and ah pat for leefong jie's birthday dinner at holland village.
in a blink, tommorow will be the last day of my 8 days annual leave. time files. but i've another 6 days leave in a week's time. hehe. can't wait.

8 days at home is good.. it gives me ample time to complete tasks that i used to procrastinate. i thought my 8days at home will be really boring, i didnt expect myself to yearn for more time! now i wish 8 days is 18days! haha. humans are never statisfied.
monday 17nov08: i tidied my room.
tuesday 18nov08: i arranged the files on my desktop, transferred the photos i wanted to develop into the disc, went to the rhb bank at bukit merah to get my lost card replaced, meet up with my uni frens aka my poly frens, went to school to settle my graduation matters, had a little lazing at bf's place before he stayed over at my place.
wednesday 19nov08: i finally printed out my payslips and applied for the longed maybank credit card. i went to see my dermatologist and had dinner with bf's family because lovely ah pat (bf's cousin aka god sis) stays at his place for a week. this cutie pie will stay at bf's place once annually. she always makes our day. oh dear reminded me this morning, its our "5oth" monthsary. love him.
thursday 20nov08: i'll b meeting bf to develop photos, send my clothes for alteration, register for advance theory, redeem the movie tickets and a game of badminton + 5 rounds the track (edited on 20nov, *ahem.. proud of myself.. hehe.) at night. its bf's day off so i chose this day to run all the errands.
friday 21nov08: i'll be meeting venecia, and we are heading to stc to collect our confirmation letter, submit my degree transcript, make purchases from lancom, visit ms jane tan and duplicate the sia keys at tampines mall.
saturday 22nov08: no plans yet, but definitely dinner with bf's family.
sunday 23nov08: i did a cof, gave away my off day for a turn, jus to earn a little $$ since i've nothing on.
jus a random thought, the following is a list of places i would love to visit, yet to visit, but hope to visit them before my skin decides to dry up completely. =(

birthday luck
its my brother's bday few days back. he went to the arcade, then his fren gave him a dollar coin and told him anything he catches will be his bday pressie. kids nowadays are so innovative ya. haha. he caught a box with a number. he then proceeded to the counter, and to his astonishment, the lady handed him a human sized 1m tall bob dog. omg it is sooo cute. =)
how can my bro grow so much that i didnt even realise? over the past 3 birthdays, he grew tremendously fast right. haha.

steamboat at bf's place
lately, it seems like steamboat dinner at home became a trend. haha. i had another steamboat buffet gathering at bf's place. the food was good except the crayfishes that bf bought, perhaps due to our lack of experience with handling them. hee. i always enjoy being with his family. =)
this is the beginning of my 8days leave. hooray~ but i've no plans at all.. so pls feel free to date me out. ~blushed~

amsterdam
amsterdam (holland) - a destination with extremely superb pax profile and of cos a place that i've never get sick of. with the bonus of a gd set of crew besides 1 that i really utterly genuinely dislike.
i hardly detest non ranking crew, he is one of the minority. he attempted to zap me just because he mistook me for the most junior p plate ger. regardless of the misunderstanding, so whats the big deal even if i am the most junior ger, which the fact that i am not! does that give you, a less than a year of experience gs to take advantage of? his small minded intolerable behavior pissed me off totally. i was disgusted by his nasty attitude. he is a smart ass, he loves giving sarcastic remarks, but he knows how to play his cards well. he only does that to junior crew. what an a**hole. jus merely 1 year back, you have been through the same phase too. we all started somewhere isn't it? never forget the basics of life, be nice to everyone, be it a beggar or the emperor. if you want respect, earn it, not demand for it. at the end of the day when he realise he mistook me as most junior ger, his attitude changed but don't you think its too late? don't blame everyone when none of us calls you out, reflect on yourself. you think you are smart and we are idiots. we laughed along with your sarcastic jokes not because we are dumb and we don't get it, its just that we don't want to stir more trouble. taking a step back doesn't allow you to be a pushover. so mind your limits. i hardly blow my top at work, i still didn't this time. but i gave him a cold shoulder which is so rare for the outspoken and crazy me. i talked and laughed with everyone except him. whatever he told me, a joke, a question, or a remark, i nodded and walked away. it was pretty obvious i was mad at him.
alright enough of rantings~ i jsut need that ventilation. hehe.
its my third time to amsterdam within 7 months. although i've been out each time i visit amsterdam, there are still many sightseeing places i've yet to visit. thats the reason why i love amsterdam. this time i went to the torture museum, sex museum, red light district, dams square and shopping! its pretty cold thus we gave the windmill tour a miss. i would love to do that next time. and of cos not forgetting tulips garden, madam tussuad wax museum, historical museum, cheese farm, clog shoes making factory and the authentic dairy farm with the traditional dutch lady and costumes. there are indeed many things to do in amsterdam, isn't it?!
the first touchdown day, 8 of us including 3 tech crew met up for dinner at cafe de gloz. i still prefer the ribs at castel, its my all time favourite. =) then we bought 5 bottles of wine and 5 of us went to captain's room for a drink. i am blessed to have darling dora, rachael, suriah, william and the rest of the crew members -1 on the flight with me. i did paris with dora and william 3months back! what a coincidence ya? hehe.
the clear day in amsterdam, 4 of us went to the torture museum, sex museum, red light district, dams square and shopping! i've things to add on to my kitty collection again. hehz.
i was sooo sooo happy when i came to know i am working with william on the return sector. you can't imagine my joy. hahaha. less contact less friction, anyway its good to stay far far away from the big bully. =p
