abu dhabi

boring station but with great company. =) in particular my dearest magdalene, abigail and amber. darling mag is the most senior non ranking crew in economy class ~weet weet~ and i'm the 2nd most senior after her. haha. we were only 1 batch apart. of cos we knew each other before, hence i was really happy when i know i am rostered with her. we had fun for the 6 days, entertained by donald duck and toy story. hahaha.. shh.. internal joke.

The ist day I managed to meet lindy in abu dhabi. Mag went with me and we had a good laugh over a hilarious story we came to know.

we went to marina mall almost everyday when we were in abu dhabi. we did shopping, played roller coaster and bumper cars. haha. i actually loved the food in abu dhabi. yummy. other than marina mall, most of the time 7 of us gathered in crew room to watch dvds. we created a mini theatre.

mag was sooo sweet. she bought pizzahut drumlets for me while i was sleeping soundly in my room before reporting. jus because we were craving for the drumlets since the ist day we saw pizzahut next to our hotel. thank you sweet.

i hope we will have a flt together again, be it rostered or cof. =)

*absence makes the heart grow fonder. 6 days away from home, i miss bf. i think he knows thats why he came to fetch me from the airport once i touched down in sin. hee.*

angel

suddenly i recalled an incident. i jus feel like noting down.

we were onboard on northwest airlines on our way back from japan. we were served supper. i took a bite on the breadroll. goodness it was so crispy. i am being lenient with my words when i said it was crispy, the breadroll was actually very extremely tough. after the ist bite, i gave a funny look at the bread, thoughts were running wild in my brain. did they forget to warm my bread? or is it over heated? or........ then came the angel's hand. he took my bread, gave me his, and he ate the over heated stone hard bread.

the angel is my bf. hehe.. =) love him.

vexed over the unnecessary

i came to find out something. something that i thought it will haunt me if i don't get the way i want it to be. i was so upset the entire day. cried my lungs out because i can't seem to find a solution, i spoke to many of my close ones. they gave me advices, all different opinions but generally they shared the same stand. erm... ultimately i know i have to sort out my own thoughts, none can help me.

i took a day sitting in my room alone, trying to figure out whats in my mind, and to listen to my heart closely. a good ventilation and some assurance is all i need. then came bf's msg, "why do you always have funny thoughts huh? don't worry, you will not lose me, we will grow old together. love u. don't let ur imaginations run wild k?" it is simple, but heartwarming to me, esp at that point of time when i felt nothing seems to be right.

the last person i spoke to enlighten me. actually somehow i have an ans in me, but i think i jus need someone to tell me "its ok baby. it is alright to do that." and leefong jie did. finally, i felt better, and i see the whole scenario better. i sorted my own feelings, still feeling a little uncomfortable, but i noe time will take the uneasiness away. i decided to give in, i decided to give it a try. jus for him, my dearest boi. i want to be magnimous. i should. afterall he has been a good bf for the past years. hey folks, i need to clarify to be justifiy for my boi. he did not do anything to betray our relationship, jus that there were some regulations with regards to work he needs to follow, and i am not comfortable with it.

i used to think bf will do whatever he thinks its right, no matter how much i fuss over it. he is one who will not tolerate my unreasonable nonsenses. in a way he made me a better person, paranoid is not in the dictionary of his, so i have to get rid of it. constant badgering on the same issue does not work on him. i need to have a good and calm talk with him. surprisingly, bf did the way i want him to, only to the end of the day when i asked and he said, he did not want to see me unhappy. to think that i wanted to give in, let him do his way, had a good talk with him when he comes back after work, but he actually already decided to take a step back. this is my bf, he will nv boast how much he have contributed, neither does he ask for credits, but his good has to be feel from the heart. he is a good man. and like wat he says, we will grow old together.

i am so blessed.

vacation in tokyo

it has been a good and occupied 6days in tokyo. i've always love japan, the culture, the people and the food. it did not disappoint me again. esp now that i'm there with my dearest bf and gd frens. jus a pity that bestie ting didnt join us. i actually miss her when i'm there. hehe.. because she is my accomplice for all our silly crimes. ~winks~

day 1 (15oct08): we took northwest airlines to tokyo. i totally understand how chloe felt when she flew to london, i got alerted each time the call bell went off, though it sounded a little different from sia's. its jus the work syndrome acting up. in conclusion, i did not rest well throughout the flight. =(

we arrive in narita airport ard 1pm, and we checked into our hostel at 3pm. then we headed straight out for dinner and shopping! we went for dinner and ginza (similar to s'pore orchard) for shopping. bf and frens bought things from burberry blue label. the service in japan is really fantastic. and best of all we get to see babes and hunks everywhere.

the popular machine for all dining places, you have to buy the item u want from the machine before you proceed in for the marvellous food. =) cool~

Day 2 (16oct08): Tokyo disneyland. We had truckloads of fun there!

See our hair accessories? Cute ya? We wore it the entire day in Disneyland.

Beautiful fireworks and lovely songs played with bf holding my hands, I felt so loved. =)

On our way back to the hostel, we did not forget to camwhore. =)

Day 3 (17oct08): shopping in Shinjuku, shibuya, ikebukuro, akihabara (electrictown) and roponggi.

Oh I love japan’s mobile phones. So lovely so kawaii..

their 100yen shop, its very near to our hotel.

the monk's sandals is humongous!.. Hehe.

Day 4 (18oct08): hie jin jin shrine, Tokyo tower, Guinness world records museum, wax museum and trick art gallery.

we parted because the rest of them have to attend a band competition for 2 days. Hence dear and me have some quality time together. =) it was a Saturday, on our way out of our hostel, there was a big event in asakusa. It was so crowded, I like the ambience.

the beer tower in asakusa, see it clearly.. it resembles a can of beer with foamy top. =)

We are supposed to wash our hands to make ourselves clean before we enter. rinse ur left hand, then right hand, then drink a mouthful.

Put your wish here and it will be fulfilled. =)

Throw a coin, say ur wish, bow once, clapped ur hands twice, and bow once more. Then go to the fortune telling machine, drop 100yen and get ur fortune elaborated. =) fun. If it is a good one, tie it on with both hands, if it is a bad one, tie it on with only ur left hand. Such a challenge, thank goodness shandy and bf have good fortune. Hehe.

According to the book, a walk through the red gate eliminates all ur sins.

The tallest steel tower in the world – Tokyo tower. It is even taller than Eiffel tower, but unfortunately Eiffel tower is recently listed as one of the wonders of the world. Eiffel tower wins the battle because it has got an open air level where you get the chills and excitement more. Nevertheless Tokyo tower is still worth visiting. It is a once in a lifetime experience afterall.
