the celebrities flight
i came back from beijing yesterday. i had a really good flight with a good set of crew. they were lovely! 4 of us had a good time from 2pm all the way to 10pm in beijing. unfortunately blur shandy forgets to bring her camera out. thus no photos for this flight. =( nevertheless it was still a good day spent in beijing.
we went to ya xiu shopping centre - its a whole sale shopping area and they have almost everything there. we then had ice cream in cold stone (franchise from states). i saw it in taipei, now in china, when will it be in s'pore? ~drools~ we then proceeded to another wholesale mall that sells jade. and yes the easily influcenced shandy bought one too though she went there without any intention to get one. hehe. and she bought the most expensive one because she really likes it. after shopping, we went to "gui jie" aka ghost street for steamboat dinner. the meaning of ghost street defines a street for midnight shoppers and eaters. silly me thought it was some spiritual place when the cab driver introduced it to us. the "ma la huo guo" is fantastic! thumbs up! =)
my ist sector from s'pore to beijing, jackie chan was on my flight. we handed over the aircraft to the other set of crew in beijing, and they told us they have jet li on their flight the day before. then on my flight back to s'pore from beijing, cecelia cheung was on my flight. it is such a celebrities flight. hehe.
i touched down in s'pore at 3.30pm. dear fetched me home, waited for me to change and we went for dinner with his family. i love the chicken rice at stirling road. its really really good and definitely worth the wait at the queue. bf and me then went over to clinton's place. when 3 good frens meet, we can't stop gossiping and chatting. hehe.. after the praying event ended, finally for the ist time, i went up to darling hui's new home. suddenly i wonder how is the feeling to live under a roof jus with ur love one. hehe. wait a min, i still want to enjoy being mummy's daughter, not doing any housechores. kekekz. bf, min, qiang and me spend a good 1 hr at hui and jeff's place discussing about their flat. it is amazing isn't it? we are into the conversation of marriage, buying a house, soon.. it will be babies... hehe.
we left their place at 12.30am, and we went over to hao's place. furby is so naughty. but still adorable. we had mahjong session till 4am, and late macdonalds supper afterwhich. goodness shandy needs to slim down. else the kebaya is really tearing. hahaha..
*bf is really cute at times. he often makes me and my girlfrens laugh hilariously. bf loves to use sounds to describe. recently because of the f1 fever, he does the screeching of cars unknowingly and abruptly sometimes when he is driving, sometimes when we happily shopping, and sometimes when we are having dinner. haha.. isn't bf funny? at least to me... hahaha..

i had a treat from mummy for my birthday last week. we had a good fish meat steamboat. hehe. then bf's mum also insisted on giving me a birthday treat last week. we had really good seafood at bukit timah. the crabs are humongous. no joke. thx to bf's recommendation. =) thumbs up~
bf and i went for a jog after dinner at his place yesterday. finally my sports gear was in use again. hehe.
i've been doing turns, doing a sgn turn later. and once again i'm the 2nd most senior fss. surprise! haha. there are 4 probationals. goodness, i'm going to work as b2 galley steward again and the most senior fss will be acting leading. may god bless me.. i'm still uncertain bout galley work, but guess only practice makes perfect. so more b2 for me will make shandy stronger. haha.
recently i'm having issues at home. its so upsetting, yet annoying. it is never easy to manage when someone at home is ill. arghz. hate it..

Liting's 23rd birthday
The girls had a sumptuous dinner at ajisen imm, her all time fav ramen place. =) i actually planned for a birthday surprise, it kinda screwed up because the delivery man ringed me earlier for the pickup. nevertheless i hope my bestie had a good time with the arrangements i had for her.
after the good dinner, the 3 of us walked to hao's place to meet the rest. weisen brought a bottle of martell, ting bought 12cans of beer and myself 1 bottle of white wine. we had a celebration at hao's place. of course the bday ger has to be drunk. hehe. =) happy birthday bestie!
by the way i love furby. he is sooooo cute. i told him to sit and let me take good shots of him, and he did... omg sooo adorable.
Roster is released. I'll be going to manchester, melbourne, shanghai and abu dhabi. i'll be on leave on 15th oct to 20th oct. and i'll be heading to tokyo with bf, hao and the rest of the band members. =) can't wait!

Avril & Jeffrey's wedding
Avril & Jeffrey's wedding
my bestie hui is now officially known as mrs choo. =) congratulations. i missed out so much fun they had in the morning. but god is kind enough for me to attend her wedding banquet at night. i touched down in s'pore at 6pm, and i literally chiong home to change and bf came to pick me up. at 8.30pm, we arrived. i gave darling hui a big hug when i reached. it is really heartwarming to see darling hui finally happily blissfully married to jeffrey choo. her lovely sisters did a surprise additional montage for hui, which includes our old photos. her wedding was a lovely one, touching one and made a few of us teary every now and then. i got teary when they marched in. then when they were on stage, when they gave their say, when the montage was playing, and lastly when all the crowd left and her er jie started crying. omg.. lingling, me and yt walked to a corner because we became teary too. i know its not like i'm getting married, not my daughter getting married, but my dearest best friend for 10 years! we seen her from young, we grew up tog, we see everything she went through with jeffrey, we witnessed their hardest times, their lovey dovey dating days and finally now they are an official married pair. i am so happy for her and jeffrey. congratualtions babe! your wedding banquet is a really good one! i think the surprise montage ur sisters did for u was really good! i didn't help much, was only told to keep it a secret. haha...
after the dinner, hao, ting, bf, me, weisen and zheren headed to a pub they suggested. little did i know they are actually heading to -the crew room-. i remember crew members do talk bout the pub, and i heard it is owned by an ex sia crew. =)

Maldives is so beautiful!!
i'm back from my dream destination for honeymoon - maldives. omg its beautiful. i was there with a great set of crew. wait a min, all were good except for one. he is not exactly bad, just quiet, reserved and one who don't mingle with us. maldives is always known as a holiday flight, because it is only 4 hours to and 4 hours back. moreover, both sectors are night flights. Only in maldives we are allowed to dress in shorts and flipflops, and all of us, including the tech crews, we stay in a "u" shaped rows of chalet rooms. it is so nice because everyone will be outside their rooms talking, playing cards, drinking etc. hehe. it really feels like a short holiday. all the girls bunked in pairs. erm.. just because we heard stories.. ~shivers~
we went snorkelling and the water is soo clear. we were literally swimming with the fishes. it was soo fun!! the allowances for maldives is not much, but i don't mind having maldives every alternate month! hehe.. one day i'll be there with bf. can't wait to share the beauty of the place with him! lovely~
