back to sia training centre
i went back to stc for my 4th month review. we arranged to go back together. =) jacq, lindy, jarred, nurul and myself. i was scheduled the earliest at 10am. bf stayed over at my place yesterday, hence sweet him drove me to stc knowing that i aint sure of the public transport there because during training days lindy was really nice to chauffeur us to and fro. the 5 of us had a good catch up and we had our favourite chicken rice! miss it sooo much.
i met up with tanny too! i am really really happy for him, a month ago when he got through the interview. time files, he is nearing the last day of the basic training already. in fact he had a test today. mr nice tanny accompanied me while i waited for bf to fetch me. being the usual nice him, he walked me to the gate to wait for bf. i am honestly very excited for my gd friend tanny to start flying. i already pictured the fun we will have on flight and overseas. i promise i will change flight to fly with him after my probation. =)
bf fetched me from stc and we headed to his workplace for a while, then to my school to settle my graduation stuff. we then went to imm and jurong point for some shopping and lastly to bf's place for dinner. i'm doing bombay tomorrow. please let it be a safe and good flight, no bombs in india please. =x

i jus did a bangkok turnaround today. it was a good flight, though i was constantly teased by the 2 stewards who worked in the aft with me. bleah.. haha.. but i have to give them the credit of contributing to the fun we had at work. =)
Bf and hao fetched me from the airport. yeppie! then we headed for supper at popeye in the airport itself since i have restricted access when i'm in kebaya. we had a good chat on some little details of life. it was a general topic yet it was a heartfelt conversation. a peck on my cheek from bf at the end of a tiring day made shandy elated. =) love you dear. hugs~
i have been spending my off days with bf. he usually allocates his off days to coincide with mine. ain't he sweet? this is me, easily contented. =) i think he deserves a fat hug from me. hehe.... we caught 2 movies lately, red cliff and the dark knight on 2 separate off days i had. we used to be hardcore movie goers, but the routine have been a little difficult to keep ever since i started flying. it feels good to cuddle in his arms while enjoying the show. i did shopping with bf in town on my recent off days. i bought a number of essentials;
1. container from muji to sort out my foreign currencies
2. jurlique hand cream
3. christian dior compact powder (i fell in love with dior's cosmetic. i think they are really good -gentle on skin yet covers well.)
4. christian dior compact powder for bestie hui
5. wet tissues
6. vaccum bags
7. hello kitty baggage tag and toiletries
8. had a manicure session by xiao laopan
besties went to batam for a short getaway. a pity i cant be with them. they are back today, i'm sure they had a good time. recently things weren't smooth sailing for them. it pains me to witness how they endure the tormenting phase. i just hope they will brave through the rough patch soon. i want to see their genuine smiles again. darlings, hang in there. by the way bestie ting, its really heartwarming to know that you still read the very old entries in my blog even till today. love u babe. muacks.
Roster is out... but 17 september is still unknown! anxiety is killing me. omg.. i can't imagine myself missing out the fun. dear goddess, please give me a day off on 17 sep and 18 sep. i dont mind having to work till the day of 17 sep but please leave the night available for me to attend my bestie hui's wedding. keep my fingers crossed~~ hurhur...

Moved to tears
actually i've came across the news since it occurred a month ago. nonetheless, it was already heartaching then. today, i chanced upon her blog. and i was overwhelmed with emotions as i read her entries. i do not know her. yet, i can feel the ache. my tears became disobedient. i can't imagine the pain she endured. god took a young chap with promising future away abruptly. he is only 20, a trainee pilot in singapore air force, with a lovely family, and a beautiful gf. god took away a girl's happiness, a family's beloved boy, a good friend, a pilot and the smiles on his loved ones.
i just hope she will brave through this rough patch soon. it is indeed easier said than done. like what many have encouraged her, "girl, it is not the end, it is just the beginning of another phase of life. there will always be sweeter things in life. keep the faith and keep going. be brave, and let it be a sweet memory that will be etched with you forever. hugs~"

Standby called up for amsterdam
the standby called up resulted in my 2nd ams flight within a month. and there is this pax who remembers me from the previous flight where he travelled from ams to sin a month ago, and now he sees me again from sin to ams. the world is small ya..
i had truckloads of fun in ams. the crew were extremely fun loving. from ifs, cs, ls, lss to the non ranking crew. especially the 5 of us who were not J class trained yet. hence, we worked together throughout. we were all pretty new. its a virgin trip to ams for 2 of them, 2nd time for 2 of us and 3rd time for the gs.
we went cycling in amsterdam, visited anne frank house and the sex museum. the cycling was really fun ~ thanks to the 3 lovely girls.. =) and i had my crave fulfilled! the spare ribs at castel! its fantastic! its a must try if you ever been to amsterdam.
