i like random thoughts..
i met up with yanting for shopping the other day. She is still my best shopping kaki. but gal, please take care of yourself.. dun exhaust yourself hao ma?
The alumni band chalet - Drink Drank Drunk. As usual drinking was enjoyable with the group. Weishan, Hao, Dear, me, jasmin n ting. But somehow things were a little different. eh....
"happy monniversary dear! wo ai ni" His sms crept into my phone again when i am still snoring in bed. i just love to see this msg every month. it is just heartwarming to me. and extraordinary sweet especially after 35 solid months. =) keep up the good work dear! hehe...
For my bestie: "the only thing u should never give up in life, is love." =)

Some pictures to share...
All hands lunch with my colleagues.. After the buffet lunch at Royal plaza hotel, beng, tzyy yuin, anthony, serene, dark kor kor n me went to watch disturbia. not a fantastic movie though.
We had a barbecue last saturday to celebrate ming's mum birthday. fun and enjoyable. =)
Self appointed main chef of the day. heee...
Gosh i looked pregnant!??
They said i am funny.. that explained the wide smile on their faces. =)

Assurance
"a calm sea will never make a good sailor."
My boss quoted this during our all hands lunch held at royal park hotel scotts road on monday. =) this is the most assuring words that came to my ear ever since the incident happened. perhaps it came from him - my director. i feel incompetent now not because of the mistake i made, but because i couldnt handle when things happened. instead everybody approached me. they consoled me, encouraged me and assisted me in any ways they could when i did a terrible mistake. even my boss have to give me words of encouragement. what more do i expect from a working place? they are the nicest colleagues i ever come across.
ok.. i think everybody had enough of my whining the past few weeks. i should moved on and let this incident be a lesson that is left vivid in my brain. i have to improve from here and not dwell over the issue. i am making everybody around me upset and affected. this will be the last entry with regards to the undesirable incident.
Company's retreat to bintan club med resort for 3 days 2 nights stay. i will be there from 27 aug to 29 aug. i am excited =)

embarrassed
Proud of myself. hehz. i braved thru the storm. everything is fine now. =) thanks to my lovely friends at work.
i brought mummy to SGH for follow up today. strolling past HSA, i had the sudden urge to donate blood. i always wanted to but time didnt allow me to do so. finally, i did it today! but apparently it didnt process smoothly. after the donation, my arm kinda swell - edema. the nurse was afraid of extravascation, thus she got the doctor to examine me. i looked well, no pain, no bruising and no rubor observed. i was discharged from there. happily, i proceeded to e train station. i was standing in the crowded train. then i realised i exhibited a couple of consecutive yawns. this is sign of hypoxia - lack of oxygen. oh no.. when i began to worry, dizzy spells overwhelmed me. i am not able to stand properly. but i was quick in reaction, for once. i saw a nurse sitting in front of me and i remembered i asked her politely, "hi, sorry, i am feeling quite giddy, can you give your seat to me. thanks." she stood up immediately of cos. =) i took the seat, and consciousness slowly regained. though i was perspiring horrendous by then. i managed to calm myself and gave HSA a ring. i told the doctor my symptoms and asked for her advice.
- seat down immediately
- drink plenty of water
- if symptoms persist, they will send pp down or otherwise
- proceed to the nearest A & e.
of cos i was feeling much better by then. after the call, i was totally conscious and i think i started to blush cos everybody's eyes was on me. well done shandy. i made a fool outta myself. haha. i feigned that i was still have the dizzy spell and i covered my face pretending to be resting. i'm not too bad an actress though. ;p when i finally arrived at jurong east, i alighted after everybody made their way out. haa. embarrassed.
when dear came to pick me from entertainment after my little meet up with jasmin n ting. dear said, "you looked pale!! ok i'll bring you for some good food, to replenish your blood loss. silly ger!" dear then brought me to hoshi for buffet dinner together with james and leefong jie. =) yea after all, i earned a good treat. hehe.... love you my boy..
