gosh
i haven footed to the train station since my 2nd day of work. haha. cos i've been sharing cab with my colleagues, to and fro. gosh! my transport expenses have thus grew tremendously. this is not the worst. the scariest thing is i am getting fat and lazy. terrible.
i had an orientation with my big lady boss on my third week of work. she swamped my brain with many interesting stories about the company. unbelievable. anyway this is not the main thing. before we left, she said, "yanking and laughing loudly at the nursing counter is not permitted. the old ones have been doing that, you are new, you shouldn't follow." it was hell demoralizing. it has been less than a month there and i already left her bad impression. fine. it is a matter of fact. at work, you either be the diligent pet of the boss or you group with the majority and enjoy. i chose the latter. i jus hope i am not digging my own's grave. i jus want to secure my job for these 1.5 years i am studying. following this i will continue to pursue into biomedical research industry. thus i hope this is a good stepping stone.

my new colleagues
First, i need to express my discontentment on the weird entries in my tagboard. being contradicting, despite my unhappiness, i am rather indolent to log into my tagboard account and delete them. so for some "good" reasons i chose to ignore the entries, at least for now. hehz.
hey people i have started my new job! =) it has been 2 weeks which included 2 days of MC due to food poisoning. MC during probation is the last thing i wanna do. sigh. it only reflects poor attitude, restricted responsibilities and limited capabilities because i cannot even take care of my own health. the only relief was at least i still can tapped on my medical benefits during my probation period. heng ah.. anyway blame myself for that horrifying appetite. :p
work was pretty loose for me these 2 weeks. well, newbies are always entitled to a honeymoon period. as days passes, responsibilities will accumulate. so till then i better enjoy my good days. =) my colleagues were nice and amiable. most, i would say 90% of the population were in their twenties, thus mingling with them is not an issue. perhaps my extrovert nature aided a little as well. i am really glad to meet this fine team of people. many have made the nervous me feel comforted on my first day of work. thanks! i can gladly termed them as my friends now.
on thur night, four of us went for dinner and shopping at plaza sing after work first. while the rest have personal things to attend before they headed to clark quay to meet us. we went to -clinic- for a drink. not bad i liked whiskey dry as recommended by sam. four of us were there at 7.30pm. slowly, our group grew from 4 to 15. i had lotsa interesting news keyed into my brain that day. hehz. it is always good to communicate with colleagues outside workplace. i love them to bits cos they were simply corny and entertaining. laughters were always heard, be it at work or away from work, as long as they were around. now recalling the comical incidents sent some impulses to trigger my smile. haha. interesting bunch of people. anyway, the early 4 of us drank quite alot that day simply because we were early. haha. craps.
i like this gal! :) adeline. she is my age and she stayed a bus stop away from me. perhaps that is the reason why i was drawn closer to her. additionally she is a really fine person!

adeline, me, yanzhen and CK. yanzhen is yizhen's and buddy's bestie. now she is my colleague. the world is just so small. CK is a darn funny person. she just make my day. =)

-samuel aka sam is my temp boss cos my boss is on maternity leave. this chap stays a bus stop away from me also. thus we have been sharing cab with adeline and kishan. how nice.
-ann is the hot lady.. she has charisma. she just has it all basically.
-zi yun is the lao chio - as termed by CK. haha. she is really pretty la. but u wont believe it she is the only one who is 30 and with 2 kids. appalling yeh?
-li hsing has been nice to me since my first day. bringing me out to different places for lunch.
-kishan another shuqunrian. he is andrew's friend. such a coincidence. his combination with lihsing can just make me laugh off my head. entertaining people. to add, he is realli a gentlemen.
