emotional
i was hesistant but persuaded.
i was apprehensive yet definite.
i knew.. i had to do it..
though i was simply fatigued the following day but it was all worthwhile.
the reply was comforting.
i was assured.
and i felt relieved.
well, i just had the most meaningful smses exchanged.

Dear's 23rd birthday
recently, we've been going to ting's place. cos her parents were out of town. ;p we had been having dinner and mahjong sessions at her place till late nights. this resulted me to become a zombie during work on thur. ha.. jus imagine.. i even felt i was floating around. kekez..
fri 23rd june:
i took half day. jus to accompany dear. i went over to his place straight after work at 12pm. it was just so coincidence. though he simply laughed it off at my reactions. but to me.. it did affected my mood a little. sighz. we then headed to westmall to catch the movie cars. thanks to the children. their laughters made my day. :)
we had band prac at shuqun. the attendance was disappointing. :( we sounded in chaos. we need precision and communications. hopefully practice makes perfect.
after band we headed to bukit timah for supper.
i am a miserable friend.
i simply live in my own world.
always neglecting the presence of my good friends.
i can't manage things appropriately. don't ask me why.
i yanked out loud when i'm frustrated.
i'm upset.. when things dun go my way.
i expect friends to stand up for me when things get tough.
i expect them to understand.
sometimes i'm on the verge to give up on myself.
i wanted to hide in the mountians jus to get my thoughts right.
thank god. they have never give up on me.
they forgive me.
and they accepted me.
this is the reason our friendship was on a longrun for 9 yrs.
i jus love them like they way they love me. ;p
happy birthday dear n qiang..
after the sumptous supper, we came back to my place for a surprise celebration for dearie n qiang. hui n jeff bought the neccesities for me. thanks a million for their help.
the finale... cheerz..
i realised.. i've no idea from when.. but a couple of yrs.. i've been celebrating the 12am of 24 june with my emperor and qiang tog.. hahaz.. its amazing how time files..
this is the second time i bought dear a wallet for his bday though status was diff. haha. this yr is upon his request. heez.. and at least i know he likes it.
24 june sat:
we slept thru the afternoon as usual. then we waited for daddy, took his car and headed to compassvale for band prac. along the way we picked tanny up. i missed him so much. missed his presence in band. i was excited to see his botak head. haha. he lost weight, and he was so dark. band prac was exhausting. we really tried to work on everything. but we still did make it right. haiz. when can we?? after band prac, about 20 of us went to the famous punggol nasi lemak. it was a long queue and it was expensive. not fantastic anyway. so wats the crowd there for? no idea. the few of us then decided to go to min's place for mahjong again. hehez. along the way in the car, we were discussing on the flute section. haiz. we sounded terrible. we gotta work as a team. we need to accept our flaws and worked on it. we should nv direct blame at others. c'mon we need to buck up flute section!
finally we arrived at min's place. mahjong time! somehow.. somewhere.. there was an awkward silence in the air... i can see.. everybody is working on it. :) everything ended ard 5am.
in order to protect myself.. i gave a foolish reply. i jus didn't wanna be emotionally defeated again. i hope i did make my stand clear. with no evil or nasty intentions. i mean it. did i do the right thing? forgive me if i don't. will you?
sunday 26 june: yawnz. i was tired. i struggled up only ard 4pm. and it was by the call from dear. hastily, i changed and went over to dear's place. tog with his family including his gan mummy n family, we had dinner at club street spizza. the pizzas had its unique taste. not too bad. i finally did some catching up with chelle also. nice talking to her.. somehow we were always connected.. by friends, by families, by school.. by... haha.... she will definitely agree with me. :)
it was then 9pm. so i followed dear n family home. hehz. we rested at his place for a while, then back to my place for a nap. followed by to taman jurong for supper. oh my tian. i gotta to stop it. dear is the culprit if u guys see me bloating up. ;P

Clubbing
sometimes.. i wished i could be a little wild like last time. yet sometimes i wished i would jus tamed down and be the studious little school gal again. sometimes i even wished to grow up fast and be a successful career women...... i'm be contradcting again.
it had been so long since i went clubbing.. come to think of it. it was almost 9 months ago. ooo... well, we finally get our butts down to ~why not~ on friday nite.. we were in a big group. though some were only acquaintances. but they were amiable. and the music was great. we had fun drinking and dancing. for once, i'm not drunk. haha.. we left the club ard 3am. then i headed to meet dear for supper..... dear came over to my place. i concussed. haha. but the sweet him applied bonjela for me cos i kept complaining of the excruciating ulcer. :)
saturday, i still had to struggle up for my company retreat at 11am. yawnz. i was bushed. in the end i took a cab down. :( i spent unneccesarily again. the buffet lunch was marvellous. delicious!
then the retreat started. we had a speech from the ceo, some service quality talk, award presentations and games. though some were rather boring... but somehow.... due to certain reasons.. hehz... i was elated! :) ~grin~
after the retreat, i headed to douby ghaut to meet dear, hao and wenxiang for dinner before we proceeded for band prac at compassvale.
we didn't play well again.. haiz. when can we start flying again? ......
after band prac, the usual few set off to ting's place for mahjong. the whole session ended ard 6am. dear n me lost. so long since we last win in mahjong....

My darlings
Ignorance is bliss.
But pretending to be ignorant is misery.
the usual 5 of us meet up at harbourfront on tue evening after work. hui picked us from there to our destinated place. queenstown temple. we waited quite a while before we finally set off to another temple at toa payoh. jeff's sis aka janet and baby victoria were in our vehicle. now i have to agree with jeff, baby victoria was simply adorable. throughout the entire trip in the temple, baby Vic kept close to hui. perhaps she likes hui ba.. i think i made a fool outta myself in front of ah pek. even baby vic was more courageous than me. lousy me. :(
finally.. wednesday. it was a sigificant day for the 5 of us. our off day. hehz. nobody will ever understand why would 5 girls specially take off together jus for shopping... nobody.. including us. :P the urge to shop. the urge to spend time tog. the urge to gossip. it was something we looked anxiously for. esp in a week of hectic work.

Jasmine's 21st
one by one, we received our golden key to our life.
its min min's turn yday.
she held her 21st bday celebration at batok cdans.
i went down at 3pm. ting and hui were already there. we helped min with the decorations, preparations and dolling up. they dun really trust me to do things. i can understand, yet i insisted. and ultimately i still screwed up some. haa.
the crowd came in slowly.
then the buffet started.
and the cutting of the cake.
followed by phototaking time.
do u realise the same 5 gals in most of the pics.. these are called hardcore friends. they follow u around.. hehz..
then our mahjong session.
and finally, the drinking time.
we played cards and some silly games suggested by jianwen. all of us made a fool outta ourselves. haha.
my stomach was not feeling very good throughout. perhaps cos i had beer, ice wine, red wine and hard liquor. this conbination is definitely not pleasant.
anyway the celebration was a great success.
happy birthday min! May happiness to be with her always. and i wished there will be a beautiful conclusion to her fairytale. she knows what i mean. :) muacks.

Band Practice
my footsteps became heavier each week.
