How sweet....
the few marriages i've witnessed these few weeks flooded my mind with thoughts of my very own marriage. i pictured the beautiful fairy tale scene....................
ok... fine. i'm awake from my dreams le! hehz...
- romantic getaway -
Dear and i went for tent pitching at east coast park again. it was last thur nite. we were both on leave on fri. hence.. we jus wanted to relax and get away from all the stress and hectic matters. i've been rather tied up the past weeks.
this nitez out made me so much happier. love him.
the details:
we headed to giant to get the essential things before setting off. some food, some necessities and the tent fan! heez.. it reminded me of the previous tent experience where dear had to fan me with a piece of cardboard the nite thru. it was really quite warm but sweet when i recalled the entire situation. :)
finally the shopping was done. we took a cab down to east coast park. then we pitched the tent. it became easier each time we pitched. its a good sign.
sitting on the mats outside our pitched tent. with ice box, beer, tuna, biscuits, chocolates, waffles, drinks, poker cards, magazines, ngage phone for some music, accompanied by the sound of the waves, the wind blowing right into our faces, i was really comfortable and relaxed. suddenly i realised at times we should do this more often. i jus love it.
anyway dear did something hilarious. i was laughing madly. haha... thinking of it makes me laughed again. hahah...
then into the middle of the nite. ard 3am. it suddenly became high tide. we pitched quite near to the sea. afraid and terrifed that our tent will be blow away, we kinda became a bit paranoid. imagined i lied down to sleep, and everytime the sound of the waves come, i would quickly sit up and watched. then back to sleep again. mind u, each wave interval is less than a min. so repeatedly, i did that for upmteen times. till dear laughed and asked me to get back to sleep.
we had a great nite out. love him. :)

Utterly occupied week
i hate boring routine. i hate stagnant schedule. i cannot tolerate dull days without activities. but yet i whined and grumbled when life gets busy. this is me. confused, and contradicting. or rather i'm a "roti prata" gal as stated by dear. hahah. cos i kept changing. so in hokkien, "peng" here "peng" there. haha.. dear's nonsenses again.
beginning of the week, i met my cardiac angels at plaza sing. and finally, we received our "white" bomb from dearest debbie. alvin and deb are getting married! :) my greatest blessings for them. had a little catch up with my girls. sigh.. it was a sad thing that meiria can't join us for deb's ROM. she is back to indo. :(
during the week, i did some shopping tog with buddy and xiao lao pan (our asst manager) at orchard. preparations for the upcoming wedding events.
then we had the vesak day rehearsal at suntec city on thur after work. had fun with vivien, jessie, joey and yanling. the usual pp in my group. joey is jus so cute. she is really loud and wilful. and ye fong shi jie kept scolding her. haz. the entire rehearsal ended ard 11pm. i was supposed to go over to min's place for mahjong. they were already there waiting for me. nanwei, min, yt, joe, hui and dear. but i had a big quarrel with dear. due to some miscommunications... my hp low batt and buddy's hp was faulty. i did not realise buddy could not receive smses. so does she. all that was in my mind was dear ignored me. thus dear and me ended in a big quarrel. :( i was so upset. i couldn't sleep. dear then came over to my place ard 4am after their mahjong session. we had a good conversation and the matter was finally resolved. it was jus misunderstandings.. haiz.. i started to contemplate. mobile phones and technology. is it actually a good invention or a bad one? hehz..
fri: vesak day performance. we had great fun. though it was warm and busy. we had tons of pictures taken. and we were simply occupied with the makeup, hairdo, dressing, rehearsal and etc. it has been long since i had such feelings. that was like back in sec sch having some kinda performance or competitions on stage. heez. love it.
i just love the girls. :) we had promised to participate in next year's vesak day event together again. hopefully... i can wear the korean dress. hehz..
Sat nite: i celebrated mothers' day with dear's family. we treated his mum to sakae sushi at the new library opp jurong point. we had some good laugh at the waiters' pronounciation in the shop. cos most were malaysians. ops.. :p anyway as usual i was extremely bloated up. again.
sun.. it was mary's big day. deb and buddy came over to my place ard 6am. deb came jus to doll up for us. really appreciated her effort. :) thanks my dear angel. buddy and me tog with 2 other old JH colleagues were mary's sisters. we were nervous. yet excited. cos it was all our first time. newbies on the run. thus.. it turned out to be the 9 brothers were at winning side. :( though.. we had a good experience. we shall try harder the next time. yeh?
the morning we had been busy. it was really tiring. we even travelled to a few places. to the groom's place, to the garden for phototaking and back to the bride's place. i didn't know wedding can be this exhausting. it is really not simple. finally, we can go home for a short rest. buddy came over to my place. i hit my bed immediately after bath. while buddy was talking to me, i snoozed... heez..
the alarm seemed to go off almost simutaneously. i refused to wake up. but buddy threw pillows at me! then we prepared and headed to the wedding dinner at yishun. i did buddy's hair. and she did mine. we did a great job i felt. haha... met up with xiaoman, carol and foongli. i missed xiaoman so much... did some catch up and some laughters tog. shall meet up with her again real soon.
the tiring week finally ended. my energy was totally depleted.

my off day
thur nite i went to catch the movie -mission impossible 3- with dear at jurong point. it was a nice show. as expected. the movie ended around 12am. then dear came over to my place. i took off the following day. hehz.
fri: i took off to accompany dear for his check up at NUH. in the end i overslept. so he just left without me. :( piggy me. sighz. then i meet dear at his place when he is back home. then we rot for a while b4 heading to orchard for a late lunch. we met ah ber while we were queuing for ~pepper lunch~ at taka. eh.. the food wasn't as nice as we last ate. perhaps... anyway we then went for shopping. wanted to get so many things. but in the end nothing caught my liking. we tried a few levis jeans. but... it just don't fit me perfectly. i also saw a few dresses for my upcoming weddings to attend. i thought they were beautiful, but dear jus find them plain. :( we wanted to buy the royce chocolate potato chips, but they no longer sell at taka. only at suntec branch according to the sales personel. sighz. i had a sudden crave for that. we left home ard 10pm. while waiting for the bus, i did something which made dear laughed out loudly at me again. ;p
we went back to my place and took daddy's car out to meet hui and jeff choo. we headed down to geylang for delicious frog legs porridge. we had a difficult time searching for the exact shop. anyway.. after the supper, we drove to east coast park. did nothing jus drove there for fun. haha. then we send hui and choo back. it was ard 3am then. me and dear decided to go for a spin. we went to bukit timah nature reserve. hahaz. we came about an hour later. then dear stayed over at my place.
oh my tian i should get going le. otherwise i'll be late to meet dear and his family for dinner. byez..
