Chemical Life Sciences Annual Dinner and Dance 2005

woo~~ this is one of our big day... :) sounds like i'm getting married huh?? but yea... it is a big topic of the year... in fact of the 3 yrs in poly life... we are having our annual dinner and dance at HILTON HOTEL!!!

firstly lets start from how i start the day. i was so excited the day b4. didn't really sleep well.. woke up ard 9 am and started to prepare myself with the mood and everything. ard 2pm.. Yiying (my sis frien + my personal hairstylist) came over to my place. and she started doing my hair. the hair itself i spend almost 2hrs doing. then my mummy.. my beauty consultant of the day... :) all thanks to her... she did my makeup my accessories wearing and etc... for once i felt like a star... i'm sitting in my room everybody beside mi busy doing my hair, face nails and stuffs.. i juz sat there quietly. because of the time we got a bit rush and this makes mi even more like a star... one behind mi doing my hair, one in front of mi doing my face, one beside mi wearing bracelet and necklaces on mi.. sounds really cool huh?? haha... ya... wat a wishful tots..

we left home in a rush. my dad drove mi and nitha there. yiying and my sis was in the car too... along the way, yiying sat beside mi, she kept adjusting my hair and stuffs... ~still.. i felt like a star~ haha... finally we reached HILTON HOTEL!!! and yea i met all my beloved cardiac class... we took tons of pics b4 we got to the ballroom.

i really enjoyed myself thru the nite. i'm lazy to describe all the details... let the pictures do all.. :) but lets summarise ist.. we had nice food (esp the mango pudding), games, lucky draw, best dressed contest and of coz disco dancing till 2am..

after the dinner, we went down to indochine and chilled out. i like the atmosphere there. the ambience is nice... the music and everything is jus perfect for a chill out place!! there was a live band playing... the singer was cool!!! then the music for a great dance came.. mi, dimas, junel and meihui went down to the dance floor... hehez... great!!! then dear came and fetch mi home... how nice of him... :)

arhz... i hate the neverending school load..

arhz... i'm so sick of all the datasheets and projects!!! they are making mi so stressed up... sigh... dun even have time to study.... arhz!!!! help mi!!!

today he gonna book in at 8pm... he picked mi up from school today... felt bad to make him wait fro almost an hr... we went to westmall for his late lunch... poor him... then saw my mummy and her frens... then we went down to jurong point. he bought a tea tree oil blemish stick for mi... :) and i was looking for some stationeries for dong dong.. coz he was telling mi he wants pencil.. but didn't manage to get any coz all hello kitty girlish stuffs..

Shopping!!!

i spend my sunday shopping at queensway with my sista... only bought a skirt... omg i realli dun have time for CNY shopping... then at nite dear came over to my place. and we had our mahjong session... this mahjong session which reulted mi to play truant on monday... hahaha.... i won $11 tis time!! :) dear stayed over at my place, i slept ard 4 am... dear slept v early in fact he slept the moment he reached my place. i didn't want to wake him up.. so i play with my family. and early in the morning at 9am the selfish him keeps disturbing mi, pestering mi to go see doctor with him coz he is taking 2 days MC also.. i was realli tired lo... but he was too irritating for mi ignore... so no choice gotta wake up... went to take MC. and had a v spicy kway tiao which cause mi diarrhoea for the rest of the day... :(

went back hm to sleep till ard 3pm. was like in a coma. dear called mi many many times i didn't hear it... haha... then woke changed and went to entertainment to meet ting, qiang, hao and dear. initially going to weishan's temple but in the end everything cancelled. so they went playing billard again. then suddenly an urgent call came... my sis pick mi up and we went hme... somethin happen at home... ya... so from 8pm till now... finally settled my family problems... tired... tml got sch at 9am... dear nv book in... wonder if he bringing mi to sch tml as he promised... :P

another weekend... yea!!! mahjong!! mahjong!!

i'm recently picking up mahjong... hehez...

after our medical mircobiology test on thur, mi, junel, yizhen, xinying, meiria, meihui and weiping went for shopping spree at orchard!!! yea!!! but still didn't have time to shop for CNY, my upcoming events is the dinner and dance so have to dress up... on thur itself i bought a dano green knitted jacket... and a mango handbag... :) after shopping dear pick mi up at clementi. went back to my place and had our usual mahjong session with my sista, my sis's frien, mummy and dear. i'm juz learning... thanks dear for teaching mi... and of coz my mummy the expert.. haha.. so patient with mi... :p we played till ard 3am then dear stayed over at my place.

on sat actually intend to paint my room but in the end i was so lazy... no time paint. then meet dear, his sis, his sis's bf and his mummy for dinner at sakae westmall. we took all the red plates one is $6.50. and the bill was bout $100 over.. i was so full. after dinner we catch the moive hotel rwanda. i felt it was a touching and nice show. it is a real life story of pp living in fear of being killed and murdered along the streets. In 1994, more than over a million pp were murdered in this specific country. how scary can it be... but it was a nice movie. the show ended ard 12am then met ting at westmall for a while and mi and dear went up to hao's hse for mahjong. they were all experts, leaving mi and ailun 2 bimbos.. haha... ya i made a fool out of myself... hahaha... the mahjong ended ard 3am then dear send mi home.

this morning woke up ard 10am and went to shuqun band with dear and hao. went back for a while and after lunch we went to hao's house again for mahjong with them again. i didn't play at all. coz i'm leaving early to meet nel and zhen to weiling's place to do project. had nice curry at weiling's place. hehez... very spicy but nice. she has been a good host. as usual we started our gossiping, eating, laughing, messing up, resting on the mattress... everything except doing the project which is our main purpose. this is our trademark. ha.. but yes i'm proud of myself coz we managed to finish our work ard 9.30pm. ~no doubt i didn't contribute much~ sorry peeps... i'll try harder next time... but u all cannot deny the fact i've been a good joker entertaining u guys huh?? wahaha...~ after everything done, we left her place and went down to enter. went to the pasa malam hoping to find mdm palam... wahaha... we had some finger foods and i bought an anklet and we bought lotsa stickers for only $1... :) it is 10 pieces for $1... cheap rite?? ~ya being childish again...~

i'm supposed to meet ting tonight, but i'm really tired so decided to go home instead of going up to hao's place again. anyway dear book in le ma. if i go home late i scared coz nobody gonna accompany mi...

anyway.. yea... i did my part for med micro prac datasheet.. :) at least i did sumthing for this weekend...

frustrated and disappointed with myself..

i flung my test today!!! arhz!!! juz because i'm lazy. juz because i'm playful, juz because i dun have the mood to study. wat is going on in mi!!! i didn't study for my cchem test today. and yes i flung badly... :(

on fri i stayed in school to study till 7pm.. and dear came to meet mi. went to jurong east and then back to my place play mahjong. he played with my mummy, sis and sis frenz initially. later on i take over my mummy place. and i won $12!!! its beginner's luck... :) played till ard 5am. tired tired tired...

on sat dear came over to my place. then went out to marina square for the movie aviator. its so hard to understand. i'm so lost and confused in the show. erm... bad show... then went down to enter. hang ard till 3 plus in the morning as usual. reach home online till 5am then finally i fell asleep. was so tired. weekends were nv free for mi...

on sun went out again in the noon to buy bedsheets and went to my aunt's place. dear accompanied mi. :) then we came back rot at my place till ard 6pm then dear went to book in le!!! i'm like playing ard nv have time to study!!!! omg....

updates of my life.. again!?

oh my tian!! wat is going on?? this is the second time i'm writing this blog.. the ist one was like super duper long... the longest entry i ever write.. and immediately after i saved it is gone!!! sad sad sad... :(

now i shall keep the entry short... lazy to type.. summary of my week...

last friday(07/01/05): our dearest aihui's bdae.. and belated yanting's bdae celebration. went crazy in kbox with ting, aihui, jas, yanting from 2pm to 7pm. met dear for dinner at enter. then went to billard. reached home ard 12am.

sat(08/01/05): went to hilton hotel for austraila educational university exhibition at 11am. was really tempted and looking forward to go... but $$$??? ha... ya shandy yap dream on.... finished ard 2.30pm. dear came down to meet mi. went to marche for lunch. spend $60 only for 2 of us!!! was extremely full! then shopping at orchard. and watch kungfu hustle at cine. we got so carried away toking tat we missed bout 15mins of the movie. lame show but funnny... went to dear's place rot for a while. ard 11pm we went back to my place for mahjiong with dear, mummy and sister till 4am. then dear drove mi and my brother to buy supper.. he is making mi fat!!! dear stayed over at my place.

sun (09/01/05): went down to tanglin mall to collect my pay with dear. went to eat "DON" a jap and korean restuarant. then went to market place and then home fixed to get dear's stuffs. and i saw him.. we merely exchanged "hi" and tats all.......... reached hm ard 6pm and went to dinner with my family. then went to pasa malam after dinner. my sister and i decided to paint our rooms.. and she bought hers i didn't managed to find the colour i want... tat nite didn't managed to slp till 4am and i'm starting lessons at 9am the next day... tired~

mon(10/01/05): went to school.. was still half asleep. had lessons till 2pm. then went to plaza sing for shopping with zhen and weiling. we went down to orchard too. reached hm ard 7pm. and i'm burying myself in the datasheets again. sigh~

tue(11/01/05): finished sch at 1pm. finally i had a good noon nap. woke up for dinner and ya again my datasheets and reports!!!

wed(12/01/05): finished school at 3pm. went straight home and changed. went to batok for swimming with my sis and bro till 6pm. then mi, my sista, mummy and gan mummy , we drove to chinatown. and i bought my dress. a simple plain black dress for dinner and dance. accompany my sis to see doctor coz she sprain her wrist. reached home ard 10pm. then i start doing my datasheet again!! sleep ard 1am.

thur(13/01/05): end lessons at 3.30pm. went down to bugis shopping with xinying and meihui. bought quite alot. a pair of jeans, a tshirt, shoes for my dinner and dance, a bracelet, a pair of earings and a ring.. :) reached hm ard 10pm. now i'm trying to do my datasheet again. having tests next week... tml i'm gonna study in school till 9pm with zhen, weiling and pp... jia you!!!!

erm... did i say i'll keep this entry short juz now?? but it doesn't seems like... hahaha... long winded mi....

the heartbreaking tsunami news..

this is already the fourth week of school.. erm.. we did a role play on a formal meeting today. we did it terribly!! and i mean really bad.. but hey zhen, junel weiling and da bi... we can do better for the next few sections... da bi ah... pls dun brood over this thing too much k?? its not ur fault... nobody's fault or i should say its everybody's fault!! haha... all the buangz and careless us!!

actually i'm supposed to go for work at jelita today. tanny introduced a part time job to mi. and i went for the interview on sun and ya he called mi and i'm supposed to report to work today at 5pm. but i didn't! haha... after some hesitation and contemplation i decided not to work. coz i dun think i have time for all this anymore.. anyway its the last sem for poly.. i should enjoy being a student isn't it??

today finished school ard 1 plus despite the schedule of 3pm. we end our practical early. so mi and junel went to walk ard the bazaar a while. i bought 2 pairs of earrings and a "von dutch" pencil case. erm.. ya i'm spending money unneccessary again. i reached home ard 4 plus and ting called so i went out to westmall to meet her. we walk ard and then we went up to jasmins place. talk as usual and i went home ard 6.30pm for dinner...

everybody lets say a small prayers for the tsunami victims. its really a very seddening news. haiz... its really heartbreaking to see kids young children and broken families.. oh my tian... is the world coming to an end???

happy new year.. 2005

dear book out ard 10 am on friday. i met him for lunch. with qiang and ting at entertainment. jas aihui and hao join us later. after lunch we went to kpool to play billard... mi and him left ard 5pm to tanglin mall to collect my pay.. then we went down to pasir ris.. to dear's gan mummy place to have new year dinner. there were a lot of pp there. all his relatives and friends.. the house seemed cosy and the atmosphere was right for a good dinner and some red wine. :) i didn't drink much though... tok to dear's cousin michelle.. realise the world is really small.. she is from sp and i actually noe quite a number of her friends. she was amiable... we reached his gan mummy place ard 7pm and we left ard 11pm. went back to enter and hao, lun, yan, jas, qiang and weiseng was there... i didn't feel right in place again... haiz... forget bout the topic...

ya i reach home ard 5am tat day...

on sat itself which is new year day!!! meet dear and have lunch at jp. then went to hao's place and play mahjiong from 7pm to 4am... ting, hao, hao's sis, dear, and weiseng played. i didn't play coz i dunno.. ha.. i play PS and watch tv and talk to ting and wen... ard 3am i almost fell asleep on hao's comfortable bed... :) after mahjiong at hao's place, i went to dear's house... we woke his mummy up in the middle of the nite.... oh no... but the mummy v nice de nv scold still smile at mi.. then dear was helping mi to squeeze my pimple lo. wa lao... it was damn pain... erm.. i'm getting lotsa pimples on my forehead.. wonder if it is coz my frindge... :(

i reached home in the morning and immediately i knocked out... haaz.. too tired... today i woke up ard 2pm and went to meet dear for lunch. then go his house again.. it was raining damn heavy.. this stupid dear take the umbrella wanna shelter mi then his left arm all wet... but ok.. i was glad.. haha... stayed at his house till ard 6pm then i went home... it was so damn cold while i walked home...

tml got sch again!!! but i haven do any tutorials yet... die ah...
