Bowling anyone??

We took the youth group (and Eli) bowling the other night. We had a fun time, and yours truly won the first round of bowling with a whooping score of 119. (Three strikes in a row!!!) We are so blessed to serve an awesome group of kids!

My favorite bowler! :)

Friends

I love it when I can hang out with old friends. It seems as though not a day has gone by since you last talked, though it could have been weeks or years. Love you guys! Donna was really rockin' the purple hair that night! :)
Silly girls!

A day at the park

We love to spend time at the park. The boys latest fascination is to run around the bases after our church-league softball games. A night at the park was just the right thing. They loved it! Eli especially loves "getting sweaty," and he "was so sweaty" when we left. He says some of the funniest things.

I love my family

In the 1950's my grandparents built a house. Many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren played, laughed, ate and were loved on in that house. My parents now have the joy of carrying out that legacy. Here it is with new paint, new appliances, fresh flowers and still lots of love.
My family gathered to celebrate this "new" old house together in July. You can see that we still love to eat and play! :)

This last picture is what sums up that house to me. I know it's quite a random picture and not very good of Eli, but it brings back such sweet memories of "cleaning up the toys." Eli was obviously not doing a very good job of it in this picture. :)
