Malaysia ~ Another year since Independence

Our country Malaysia is turning 51 today.
The whole nation is celebrating. Not me...haha
Anyway, Happy National Day..
not Happy Birthday.
Eng teacher say is not Independence Day or Hari Merdeka also...
国庆日快乐!!

Of course the celebration is not as grand as last year cos last year is the 50 years...
Last year's preparation started early.
This year's theme ~ Perpaduan Teras Kejayaan

For now, the parade and everything in Dataran Merdeka is over.
Finally...
Those planes or jet that they used has been making so much noise for the past few mornings.
Sounds like war.
*touchwood*

Going Klang later...

Time to study...

Trials is coming lo...5th September
Next friday...
What I have been doing is staying in front of the computer.
Kinda obsessed with this.

Have to start study otherwise I'll be dead.
That time want to regret also useless.
No use crying over spilt milk.

But the problem is....
Air-cond + bed + book = SLEEP
Especially when the subject is as boring as History.

It's quite hard to reach my brother nowadays.
With the time difference...(13 hours behind M'sia's time) We wake up he still sleeping.
And now that he has started school. He wake up then need go uni. He back from uni then I still in school. I back from school he sleep already lo.
Sometimes get confused with the time.

Since my parents don't know English and don't know how to use the computer, everytime they have something to ask then need me to leave an offline message for him in msn messenger.
If he long time din reply, my parents will be complaining and bla bla bla.
This is how life as a middle person is.

The day I turn 17~

210808..My 17th birthday.

Stayed at home doing nothing. Boring.
Can't buy a whole cake since there would be no one to finish it. So just bought few slices.

Seems like forever since I last enter the forum. Few weeks. Have been so left out and outdated.
Decided to indulge myself in the dongbang world..lol
And found picture of new hairstyles.

What a shock...
Jae, Yunho and Su's hair is nothing except 'a bit' shorter than usual.
But people would be wondering what the hairstylist did to Chun's hair. So OMG..
Anyway, hair can grow...haha.
And Min's hair turned BROWN...Just like 1 year ago when Jae's hair suddenly turned from black to brown...similar case.

Thanks to those who wished me.
And since people always wish 'may ur wishes come true' so I would list out my wishes..haha.

My 17th birthday wishlist...
1. Good health( for self, family, friends and others)
2. Straight A's for SPM
3. Get to go travel (to places I like)
4. Get to meet my idol(s) / fav. singers..^.^
5. Get things that I really want
6. Get rid of NS (won't happen)

I think that's all for now. Not trying to be too greedy.
Have to go tuition soon..Boring.

Ki Bum oppa turning 21 today.
Happy Birthday Ki Bum!!

-edit-

Cakes start popping out.
Prashant bought a cake with those stupid candles which won't go off no matter how you blow it.
Makes me look like a kid who celebrate b'day in tuition. Cos as I could remember only kids celebrate there. Not trying to be ungrateful here. Anyway, thanks.

Then, my dad went and buy a cake again. The few slices of cakes bought earlier still in the fridge. =.="
So, my family along with Min Yee and her dad went to the 'Look Out Point'...
Brought the cake along but don't want celebrate there.
Too many people..so paiseh la.
So just brought home..light 1 big candle make wishes, blow off and cut it. But din eat. Keep in fridge again.
Syok sendiri only...haha^_^

My cake..

Hair on fire??LOL

Nerdy me...camwhoring with Karen's specs during Monday's Bio extra class.

Having extra class today and tomorrow...
Skipped Physics today and headed to Mid Valley...with Min Yee, Faith, Steph, Yvonne and Pui Teng. Steph's birthday.
Basically, did nothing much besides eating and watch movie.
Secret Recipe, Baskin Robbin, Chili's....

My fav. Mint Chocolate Chip...

A woman fell down in BR while she was laughing and she told her friend(who din saw that), "SHIT! I fell down." And her friend laughed hysterically. A little crazy.

Watched 'The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor'. Can say as nice lo...the clay emperor looks ugly..haha. For once, actually walked in the cinema without tearing the ticket. If we din buy ticket, the person wouldn't know.

Happy Birthday Steph!!

The night my brother fly...

Last night was watching the Badminton Double mixed - S.Korea against Indonesia. Lee Yong Dae was playing leh and S. Korea team won.

After watching, leave house for KLIA at 9pm.
My parents let us get down at the departure hall with the luggage while they parked the car in the parking area.
So we went to row H to search for the check-in counter. Walked til the end but only saw counter opened for Egyptian Air...
So we waited near a huge pillar. Me, my brothers and gf.
Took some pictures and talk....

I looked to my left and a girl turned and look at my direction.
That person looked super familiar. When I realised who that was I was shocked. She looked the same too...lol
Guess who that is....
Is my primary school friend, Tennii...never thought I would see someone I knew in KLIA.
Her family turned and looked and she walked over and talked to me. Her brother talked to my brother since they somehow knew each other.
Coincidentally, her brother is going to US too. But my brother and her brother will only be on the same plane to Seoul for transit. Later, my brother will be going to Chicago then Nebraska but her brother to San Francisco.
I only been to her house(aunty house to be exact) once and she been to my house few times but her mum still remember me after 5 years...good memory.

Later we went to eat McD while waiting. Her family and a whole group of friends are there.
Sit there for so long.
In McD, a middle eastern kid turned over a table..LOL..luckily there was nothing on top.

When the clock struck 12. It's time for my brother to leave...Just like cinderella..haha
So he went in and we say bye-bye and left. His flight at 1.15am.
On the way back use wrong road and ended up in Subang. Fetched bro's gf back and we reached home at 1.30am. Super tired.

Cute kid sitting in the next table.

Is it really the best?!
Today morning wanna sleep til late but my mum came at disturb at 9++ am. Keep bugging me to online and see whether my brother reached Korea. So when I sign in msn he was there. Happily using the computer provided in the airport for free. He offline when wanna get on the plane again.

Now he is flying to the other side of the planet we called Earth. Arriving in Chicago at 1am M'sia time. I calculated here and there and his 'August 17' have about 37 hours if I din miscalculate.
That's why I won't want to go to US..super suffering. One hell of a flight.

New Harry Potter film postponed....

Potter fans are waiting for the release of the sixth Harry Potter movie.
But Warner Bros. Picture decided to postpone it to July 17, 2009.
That is like 8 months later from the original release date.
They say this is to guarantee the studio a major summer blockbuster in 2009.
How can they do this??

I thought that China's Xie Xing Fang would win the Badminton Women's Single.
Mana tau her opponent, Zhang Nin from China won the gold.
Truly a lost...

The Lions' Birthday !

Today is the 大小姐 Min Yee's birthday...
And guess what she chose to do..
To be absent from school...Haishh..how could this be?? *shaking head*
So the daredevil Kha Hoi called Min Yee's mum in the morning, asked her why Min Yee is absent and told her that we bought a cake.
So after some blablabla here and bla bla bla there, Min Yee mum said she will fetch Min Yee to school before 12pm(lunchtime)...and she did.

The day before Jiunn Huah bought the cake from Secret Recipe and some presents... oreo cake (whateva name it is). Then, celebrate during lunch..
Few months din celebrate birthday already..This year my class bought a cake for almost every classmate's birthday.
But they decided to celebrate not only Min Yee's birthday, but also Karen, Steph and my birthday.
The cake is meant for the 4 'Leos' in the class. The lions rule...haha
Actually I saw a lot of writing on the cake earlier but din bother to have a closer look...
Who knows they actually wanted to celebrate so many people's birthday.
Din make a wish before blowing candles...I think it won't come true since so many people wishing and din have time to think of what to wish for..lol
Thanks for the cake and present....

The cake...
Happy Birthday to Steph, Set, Min, Mr [K]
Min Yee, Steph, Me, Karen

Before going for tuition I was watching the Women's Archery event..that time was the match between S. Korea and N. Korea to fight for bronze medal..
When S. Korea's Yun Ok-hee won, they actually played Boa's song (forgot the name) in the stadium...
Anyway, S. Korea's Park Sung Hyun got silver and China's Zhang Juan Juan won the gold medal.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIN YEE !

Let The Games Begin~

Some people might think I am long-winded and makes every post so long but I still want to write down every details..haha

Yesterday we changed class with the Form 3 students cos they having PMR trials next week..
For you guys who don't know..Form 5 classes are actually the exam hall separated by walls which can be pushed aside.
I dislike the class we will be using for bout 1 month (including the 1-week-holiday) until SPM trials. It is gloomy and has no life. Once we walked out of the class it isn't the bright corridor but the Girl's toilet and stairs..Bored...
For nearly 8 years I have been studying in classes with bright corridors..
Hope I walked into the right class on Monday morning..I'm afraid that I forgot and walked into the original class..then 'malu' lo.

The Olympic opening ceremony was AWESOME...
I always knew that China has a huge population and Chinese can do great things. But it still surprise me..
The countdown part with 'Chinese drums which emit lights' is so COOL.Makes me love Chinese drums more. Actually what I like isn't the drum but the sound it produced and the style of Chinese drummers.
The number of peoples for every performance is incredible.WOAH..like ants. But the best part is that they have very good coordination considering the number of people. Especially the TaiChi part. Super coordinated.
And looking at all the things they prepared and costumes for those performers..they seriously spent a lot of cash.

The largest Chinese scroll I've ever seen...lol

And the white dove that represents peace is beautiful. They even make it looks like flying.

And not to forget...the FIREWORKS are so beautiful..Looks like the Bird nest stadium burst out in flames..lol
But that's too much..Lots of pollution. The citizens would be living under smokes.
The main point of the opening ceromony is for cultural exchange since it greatly promotes Chinese cultures to the whole world...
The final torchbearer Li Ning lights up the huge torch at bout 12.05am. And this is met with more fireworks.

Maybe most of you are studying for trials but I'm spending my time watching Olympic..haha
Today watched the men's artistic gymnastics prelims..woah..Chinese team is good, man! The parallel bars and high bar are COOL..lol..

Super Junior member HanKyung, of China origin, participated in the passing of the fire torch for Beijing Olympics 2008 on 7th August at 4pm in China Beijing ShunYi.

The passing of the fire torch was broadcasted by BTV. HanKyung was introduced as the Chinese member of Asia’s best idol gro

天啊,终于下雨了!

Today is a cloudy and gloomy day since morning...
Can't even remember the last time it rains.
天啊,今天终于下雨了!
This means that I could have some fun playing with the rainwater if the rain is not too heavy.
And it is super windy *thumbs up*
But, the rain lasted too long. For hoursss...about SIX.
This cools down the environment...*yippee*

Look at the happiness a simple rain can bring to a kid.
The little girl is so adorable :D

Tomorrow 080808 is the day all Chinese have been preparing and waiting for. The Beijing Summer OLYMPIC. With such a beautiful date and since 8 is considered the lucky number for Chinese, there would surely be a lot of newlyweds. The wedding registration office would surely be packed. To the office staffs: 辛苦你们了! ^.^ This number would only appear again after 100 years..but the year ain't the same anymore.

And I realised that lately I speak Mandarin more often compared to before. Sometimes, even to those whom I usually speaks English to. Maybe can help improve my Mandarin...in terms of writing, reading and understanding..^.^ It can be kinda frustrating sometimes if you really want to understand that article but your understanding has its limits. Grrr...

♫ MAA '08 ♫

Last night stayed up til 1.30am to watch the premiere of the MAA on the MTV Channel shown at 11pm. So sleepy. But want to see SuJu perform.
Looks like there are more artists present than the stated ones..SuJu, PCD, Leona Lewis, Stefanie Sun, Show Luo, Leo Ku, Nicholas Teo, Lee Yu Chun, Panic at the Disco, One Republic, The Click Five, The Script, etc...

The 1st award they gave out was the Fav. Artist of Korea Award..The nominees are Big Bang, SNSD, Wonder Girls and Suju. SuJu won the voting and 11 of them went up the stage. Ki Bum and Han Kyung didn't come. All of them are in black outfits. And Si Won gave the thank you speech in English. 1st time heard him speaking in Eng..haha
Some of their hair looks different from the last time I saw them..especially Shin Dong's. Dong Hae's hair looks kinda like Micky's hair.
They perform at the 2nd half of the show. Is it me or they gave a different feel from usual when performing? The 1st song they performed is 'Mirror' from their 2nd album. Only 6 of them singing..Ye Sung, Kyu Hyun, Ryeo Wook, Sung Min, Dong Hae and Eun Hyuk. Ballad songs are always the best when performing live.
Then, the other five - Hee Chul, Ee Teuk, Si Won, Kang In and Shin Dong joined in for the next performance, which is a remix of 'Don't Don' in the front followed by ' 갈증'(A Man In Love). A performance that I have never seen..lol.
Actually earlier, I decided to go to sleep after SuJu's performance. But their upbeat performance kinda woke me up a little. So, I decided to watch til the end.

For anyone who didn't managed to watch the premiere..there are repeats.

Sunday, August 3, 12am and 9pm Monday, August 4, 8.30am Tuesday, August 5, 2.30pm Wednesday, August 6, 12.00pm Friday, August 8, 11.00am Saturday, August 9, 3.30pm Wednesday, August 13, 12.30pm Thursday, August 14, 7am Friday, August 15, 7.30pm Sunday, August 17, 8.30am Monday, August 18, 12.30pm Sunday, August 24, 11.00pm

Went to Mid Valley bout 2pm yesterday..
Long time never go to the mall..it's nice to get out of the house.
Just simply walked around and got into some shops and few hours passed by just like that..
Then go have dinner in Paddington..only me and my mum.

Later, went back home at bout 8pm. Before leaving, I bought a passion fruit flavoured ice cream which is super sour. Won't buy again.lol

Finally completed the Add Maths project...All of the graph taken from Audrey cos I don't know how to plot or draw graph using ICT.

Just now my dad fetched me to the Cheras Perdana's Drive-thru McD to buy 5 sets of the Gold Medal Meal in order to get the 5 different Free Coca-Cola contour glass. Not worth it of course. But for collection.

100 Days to SPM
