July was full of packing, food and farewell's.
After my family left I officially started packing up the downstairs. 9 years and 4 kids later, we acquired a lot of stuff!! We also spent every last second cramming in all the thing we wanted to see/do before moving.
Matching dresses for the girls and handsome boys
fun with the Dillenbeck cousins at the Portland Rose Gardens
We took Grandma and Grandpa to Pittock Mansion
I have been wanting a Hobo Wallet from Nordstrom for about 8 years. Katie Foland has one and I've always had wallet envy. They are expensive, which is why I never got one. But then I saw one at Nordstrom Rack and Seth got it for me for our anniversary. I LOVE it!!! It was $45 (originally $140!!) But they last forever! Katie still has the same one for the 8 years I've known her, so it's a good investment :) And I absolutely LOVE it!!!
4th of July
Grandma and Grandpa are still in town, so we took them to the World Of Speed USA Museum

We took Grandma and Grandpa to the airport and came home to do fireworks
It started getting super hot, so we busted out the waterslide from Grandma
why not wear a winter hat in July
Vacation to Crater Lake. We drove down, camped, and came back the next day. It's a lot of driving but that's how we roll!!!And it was totally worth it. The view is AMAZING!!!
David and Seth climbed up to a cliff and jumped off. I don't have any pictures, but did get a video. David is always up for an adventure. Kate wanted to do it too, but we decided not to let her. The boys said the water was a cold they've never felt before. It's straight mountain runoff water, freezing cold!

teaching the kids how to cut wood for the fire
I even got to learn
movie in the park at the campground. It was Sponge Bob, not my favorite movie but the kids had fun

This was my last Sunday teaching at church. I cried leaving these kids (some are not pictures). I miss them so much. It was such a joy to get to know them over the last many, many years. I've watched them grow into amazing young men and young women and I can't wait to see what the future holds for them!
Monday, July 24th Seth is off bright and early with the moving truck. He is doing the trip alone, thanks to a last minute bail out by Rossii (if you're reading this, we still love you!) He made it there in 4 days!!!!
Kimmie's feet are almost the same size as mine!
Did some painting at Cyndy's while I was there. She is getting ready to sell her condo, so we needed to fix a few things.
I am so happy with how this turned out!! I scrubbed and scrubbed this stain until it was barely visible. I got even more out, but forgot to take a last picture.
while we were fixing things, Kimmie accidentally broke the microwave handle. It came off while she was trying to make popcorn. So, we ordered a new one and replaced that too:)
more fun with friends, the Mitchell's
last dinner at Davidson's with Aunt Deborah
last haircuts with Katie :(
Maverick wouldn't leave Kimmie's side, he just stood there gazing at her and holding her hand. True love!!!
goodbye to Joshua's friend, Blake
This was a super hard goodbye. Our amazing pediatrician, Hilary DeVoe. Like seriously, we both cried like crazy saying goodbye. She is the best and will be hard to replace.
Another goodbye night out with Katie and Cyndy at Bamboo Sushi. We ordered way too much food, but it was totally worth it
Oh yeah, I also chopped off my hair! phase 2!
The Murray's had us over to say goodbye. We had a great dinner and so much fun hanging out. So many memories together, they will be missed.
