Oh La La The French Dresser

Our daughter wanted some new furniture for her bedroom.  Here is a French dresser we found for her.

We painted it Sherwin Williams in Crisp Linen mixed in Home Depots Behr Paint.

We left the hardware as is kind of a antique gold.

She already had these nightstands from a couple of years ago we had painted them black.

Now they are Crisp Linen just like the dresser.

The Old Couch She Ain't What She Used to Be !

This couch is from my neighbor.  The upholstery was not in bad shape but I thought the wood could use some improvements.  I took of the gimp around the edge of all the wood and painted the wood Annie Sloan old White with a little Louis Blue mixed in.  

Then I distressed it.

I added a pretty light blue gimp around the edges with my glue gun.  And TA DA!!
