Well finally my 2009 masterpiece has done, basically just spent 3 months, to finish the whole entire animation, from nothing in the screen, until something is moving in the screen. I admit this is my fastest work that I've ever done, but in the same time, I have sacrifice about 30++ days in working part time, which mean 90days-30days= 60++days only I have spent on this animation, otherwise, I think I would have done better, sigh....anyway what's done is done, hopefully everyone watching out there will be happy with my work. What am I going to do next is fully enjoy my holiday, tho I duno when will my holiday ends, and in the same time will be preparing my resume and new reel for job interview in the future. Likewise I will start missing my uni mates too, and another chapter of my life will begins soon.

Time to move on

一日之计在于晨，我想, it's time to move on!!!! 已经不想再打什么PART TIME工了，真的很闲，放假会好好地玩，回来再毕业，同时也会看看那个公司有聘请人，我会准备我的REEL 和 resume。

失望

不知是不是时间过了太久，很多朋友都觉得我不存在了，觉得我不重要，反正人人有自己的世界，我这种小角色，算得了什么。

少少补充，我从来都不会怪为什么人会变，毕竟环境会改变人，所以我只会怪自己的环境不适合我，但我没选择，因为这就是所谓的牺牲。

Midnight's horn

We'd never expect we would call police to take care of the crazy neighbour, she should be around 30-40 yrs old aunt, things went like this....

About 1am Sunday Oct 25, I'm working on my major project, well as usual the aunty came again, shouting and yelling at our next door, honestly I didn't really understand what was she trying to do but I can see she was very BU SUANG ,what I heard was only fuck fuck fucking dog you fucking dog, huh you fuckin dog, FUCCCKINGGGG DOGGGGG, shouting for about 1 hour.

Until I went out with my classmate for coffee, she's still there, and the weird thing is, nobody gives a fuck to her, it's midnight wei, shouting and yelling nobody can come out and complain mehhhh....ok 3am I'm back in home again, oh no she's still there....seems like marathon sing k, leoKu also lose. Finally she's stopped, and everyone have a good sleep. MANA TAU....this time not only yelling and shouting, she started her car engine, and played rock music loudly, and HORNNNNNN.....try to imagine, the HORN sound, I think u would say 5 secs is long enough coz HORN sound is a really annoying sound for human. BEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP and guess what, she could horn for 5 min non stop, and stopped, rest, and HORNNNN again!!!!!!!!!!!!! My brother and my housemate woke up, we've decided to call police, pukimak don't know what the hell all the people doing that time, sleep like a pig at home???? nobody can heard the horn sound????!! Damn we really beh tahan and call the police, after 20min then the police arrived, considered OK la 20min not too long, if Malaysia I think at least half an hour la LOL, then the policemen tried to calm the crazy aunt down, duno wth are they talking about coz so blur, I only can hear the F word, blablablabalabla...

4am ++ the policemen left, dont know where is the crazy aunt but we all finally can have a good sleep, I really hate the neighbours next door, chee buy guai lan, a bunch of teenagers 20-30 yrs like tat bah, awez open music loudly at midnite, or playing their so called sport cars but actually a lousy and old car, if I were lawyer I would really sue gao them for disturbing people at midnite, really a bunch of FAI CAI, and now dont know where the hell a crazy aunt came, try again la next time, I will call the police again!

TVB 的进步

为了使这个POST写得更加仔细，形容得更好更有FEEL，我决定不用英文。 Apologized for that :)

相信大家小时候都有看过TVB连续剧， 在TV3， TV2, ASTRO WAH　LAI TOI 那里都好，是不是觉得好好看？　那现在大家还有在看吗？有没有觉得现在的ＴＶＢ跟以前的ＴＶＢ不同了吗？　在这里我只想跟大家分享我的对ＴＶＢ感觉。

最近我觉得ＴＶＢ真的进步了很多，故事方面还ＯＫ罢了，我是说在SPECIAL EFFECTS, COMPOSITING, EDITING and ATMOSPHERIC　的方面。因为我本身对这些东西比较敏感，所以我每次都会去研究研究。ＴＶＢ最近很聪明，每当要出一套新戏时，就会出一个预告片，而且预告片都做得非常好，特效也好，ＭＯＯＤ也好，当然不要跟ｔｒａｎｓｆｏｒｍｅｒｓ　ｈｏｌｌｙｗｏｏｄ　ｂｌａ　ｂｌａ　比，因为观众不一样，而且是电影。ＴＶＢ的target audience 大部分都是家庭，师奶等等，当然还有年轻的华人，做到那样好的预告片已经是做卓卓有余。先看看他们的预告片。


觉得怎样？如果你觉得这个只不过是一个很普通的广告，那就没关系，可以不用听我讲解了:D
我以前有一份功课不及格，也是做这一种在竹林里打架的animation,那时我入世未深，做出来很烂，如果可以做到像ＴＶＢ这一个就好了。还有ＴＶＢ的开头片也进步了，就像《烈火雄心３》一样，非常有TEAMWORK的感觉，英雄的感觉，音乐方面非常好。如果大家看过第一集和第二集，就可以看到他们的拍摄手法也变了，故事变得如此紧张，当然有时也很鬼闷，看谁爱上谁，谁又背叛谁，每天演着一样的戏。

不错，不过我还是觉得有些editing的地方可以进步，可以做到像美国连续剧的就好了　：Ｄ
另外一套的预告片也不错，就是《珠光寶氣》。预告片的ＣＯＮＣＥＰＴ很好，而且SPECIAL EFFECTS 也做得好，加上黎姿，简直完美。

还有一个ＰＲＯＤＵＣＴＩＯＮ做得不错的是《與敵同行》，我在ＹＯＵＴＵＢＥ找不到他们的开头片，不过有宣传片，可以看看，音乐的旋律跟特效都很好，我喜欢，一个戏最重要就是那个ＭＯＯＤ，也要看看DIRECTOR要的是什么，如果你跟ＤＩＲＥＣＴＯＲ不同ＣＨＡＮＮＥＬ，当然你会觉得一般，没有什么特别。

还是那一句，做我们这一行的最重要是自己喜欢，不要太过在意别人的看法，因为是艺术嘛。什么都讲ＦＯＲＭＵＬＡ　E=MC 2, 世界就没有乐趣没有TRANSFORMERS给你看了，does it make sense? :) 好了累了，因为在ＲＥＮＤＥＲ着我的３Ｄ动画所以才得空写那么长，以后有空再分享一些 MOVING IMAGE 的感想，　或者 PHOTOGRAPHY CINEMATOGRAPHY 都可以。

打工

打工读书真的不容易，工作和功课时间都要分配得很好，不然就会不平衡，还有一个月，一个月过后我就渡过这一关了！撑下去啊！！！！！！一定要拿到一级荣誉！

Promise

A promise to myself, when I get to work next time, I must spend more time with my friends, more time on outdoor activities, more time on taking pics and share with friends, more time to have fun, more time to play, more time to travel, because...MONEY CAN HELP ME TO ACHIEVE THIS!

My lovely Homebrew Nintendo Wii

I've waited for long enough, finally I got myself a Nintendo Wii, with my own hard earn salary OK? Parents, you have no excuse le gua. Since my parents bought me a Playstation during 1998, it's been 11 years I didn't get myself a console, until this year, because we are already working and earning own money, we can buy whatever we want! HAHA! Too excited! Most importantly is, the Wii can play almost 90% of downloaded games, though some games need special procedure to hack this and that I was lazy to bother so much as long as the games I wanted are working.

I have bought some Wii accesories as well from eBay, eg 2x Mario Kart Wii Steering Wheel for $6 only including postage!!! Instead of buying in Aust for $19 each :P and Wii Gun and others. And I wanna thank Mr GuGu who is staying in Hong Kong to help me get the best price and ship it to me. Thank you so much!

Recycle bag

I'm loving recycle bag, one of the reason is helping our planet earth from being destructed, and the main reason is.... I HAVE TOO MUCH PLASTIC BAGS AT HOME !!!!
So....I'm not gonna use any plastic bags for groceries shopping at this moment!

6 weeks....

It's mid term break of semester, time flies, can't imagine what would happen after 6 weeks? Can I complete my work in expected time? How would it be? 6 weeks...is that enough for me? Can I overcome this challenge? All of these questions popping out in my head every day, that's what I called stress. How to get rid of them? NO, the only thing is wait and wait, and work as hard as I can.

DO NOT UNDERSTAND

真的不明白为什么我可以来到澳洲读书？ 真的是奇迹。人人过来都可以一边念书一边跟朋友享受生活，而我？ 还是算了吧，怎么去跟人家比？ 讲了好过不要讲，费事给SHOOT回，不过讲了好过放在心里，真是矛盾。

看到周围的朋友们都过得那么开心，天天在FACEBOOK SHARE他们玩的照片，身为朋友的我，有点羡慕也有点堕落， 每天都在想，到底几时才轮到我可以狂欢？连自己一年一次的生日都没有开PARTY，像什么样。我只好等放假或新年咯，可惜，下一个放假，连我自己都不知可以回KK没有？

算了吧，还是回去做功课。

烈火雄心3面白い！

TVB's another classic drama series Burning Flame, with more action and tension scenes, and the way the director directed is much more better than 1 and 2, with better storyline and more humors in it. A must watch drama for TVB Fans :D

Hopeless

Sometimes I will still sneak a peek on Malaysia news via Cari.com.my website coz so far this is the best site for me to read Malaysia news, and just every time when I open this page, I have seen a lot of unlucky cases such as rob,steal,kidnap etc. At this moment I felt very lucky that I was not one of them, having lived in KL for more than 3 years but nothing happen to me, and have to thanks the LORD as well. And I was thinking, if someone is offering me a highly pay job to work in KL, will I accept it? The answer is NO, definitely NO, I would rather work as a cleaner or waiter in KK if I have to choose either one, nowadays the life in KL is so unsafe, criminal is everywhere, even they are happened on my close friends before, the only thing I can say is it was lucky that they were not harmed. And sometimes I will worry about those friends who are living in KL currently, I wish I could tell them and persuade them not to stay in KL anymore, but I know they will say, I HAVE TO CARI MAKAN, OK understood. But for me, nothing is more important than your own life, I know you might say criminal is everywhere in this world no matter where you are, YES IT IS, who doesn't know that? But I felt KL is such a hopeless place, if you are desperate wanted to know why am I keep saying that KL is hopeless, I tell you I can write a long essay to list down the reasons and what I've encounter before, or my friends, or my friend's mate. So I'm not going to say why but please, love yourself, you can go KL for shopping and travel for a couple of days, but not working there for long term, coz everyday there will be an bomb beside you, just nobody knows when will it explodes. Hopefully I didn't offend anyone of you who reading about this article and apologize if I do.

Final semester stress

OK OK finally here comes my final semester! I was about to start my 3d animation modeling this n that, but guess what, I'm so tired!!!! I couldn't do anything more, woke up at 7am, 9am class,evening class, back home, it's 630pm!!! Cooked a dinner, took a shower, it's 930pm!!! Sleepy already ok?! OK fine I touched a lil bit on my modeling, then? almost 11pm now!!! It's time to sleep, tomorrow gonna work for whole day!!! And Thursday got class too! Where da hell got time to do my stuffs o!!??? Friday work again! HELP!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I know HE will bless me always, I believe the power of HIM will help me to encounter this final challenge. Besides HIM, I hope my friends will be supporting and encouraging me to fight for the final masterpiece as well, 3 months is not too long not too short, it's quick actually, trust me! I will! I will!

Chew I thought I have forgot how to speak Japanese tim....not bad not bad.
Anyway these photos are taken 6 months ago in KK, right behind the garden of my warmest house, using Canon Digital SLR KissX2. Nothing much to say about the photos coz they are characterizing me, how do I feel and what do I like.

5 years old

A page which brings up lots of memories, a page which shares feeling each other, laugh, sad, sorrow, happy etc. From the conversation, I can see the naive, I can see the immature of everyone. 5 years....5 years is not a short period, many things can happen in 5 years. What would it be after 5 years?
After 5 years, the page is no longer active. One of the reason is, we have FACEBOOK! And the other thing is.... erm better dun talk so much. Anyway, Happy 5th Anniversary to the UB group.万岁！

Similarity

Just when I had nothing to do, I came out to living room and turned on the TV, I've seen an interesting 3D shorts on SBS, it's a black and white 3d animation directed by Yann J, produced by some sort of French studio I think, and the movie called "Berni's Doll" .

And I found that the storyline and concept is really quite similar with my final graduate 3D animation, the different is they are black and white, less humor, fast rhythm on the overall movie,and tension musics all the way, it's more like a 讽刺 sorta message.

I just briefly describe the movie, is about a guy who is desperately for sex unfortunately he is single, he seen a tv ad selling interactive female body, he feels excited and earning money as hard as he could to buy the body, then hand, then leg, and the last for the head. But in the end when he combined all the anatomy parts, unexpected things happened, the female ran away from him due to the violence abused by the guy bla bla bla...

Such an interesting B&W 3D animation I've seen on SBS and I was inspired by some of the animation techniques used on it.

2010世界杯入围赛 MCG

Finally I had a chance to watch a World Cup Qualifier Match though it's not like Brazil vs Italy or something, it is just an Asian qualifiying round, yet I'm happy with that, it was crowded, nice atmostphere, nice lighting, nice stadium etc

Next target will be the real World Cup matches, just have no idea when would it be? 2010? 2014? 2018? 2022? 2026?

2D animation

I think most of the my friends never see my 2D animation before, that's why I upload it to share with everyone here. This is one of my 2D projects last year although I'm not doing traditional cartoon drawing, but I learn a lot from it tho. Sound effects might not really well done yet satisfactory, hope everyone likes it, take a break and enjoy a stupid animation :)

Since Lohai requested, I've decided to update a lil bit of myself, what am I doing recently :D

I have nothing much to say as well, since last week Mayday's concert at Hisense Arena, I was doing on my Final year proposal, Visual effects animation,3D charater animation and 3D stylize animation for non stop until today, proposal and VFX are done, but next week will be my 3Ds due date which is quite short, everyone was like, have you done yet? I said DONEE???? You are funny, I just STARTED la OKay.....do you guyz think I can finish these two projects before June 11th? We'll see we'll see....

Anyway, QUEEN's birthday this coming monday, but....gan ngai l*n si meh....I still have to work and keep going on my projects...sad sad sad

Visual effects - green screen

For those readers who have never study about film and animation, have you ever wonder how a Hollywood movie be done? Have you ever seen those people acting in front of a big green screen or green background? Actually not only Hollywood could do that, we can do that too! It's pretty simple, just take yourself a video, and then buy a green cardboard, and use a software called after effects and lastly remove the green background, there it is....




















This is one of my visual effects miniature assignment actually, any thought guys? :)

Major project - Character design

This is my character for my final major project, is about a guy who is desperate in love with someone but unfortunately he has no fate with anyone. 2nd character will be uploaded soon :)

Advanced 3D visual style - stage 1

This is one of my 3D assignments and this time I was trying to do something like 中国水墨画 style in 3D and my character is Chinese guardian lion, it's quite challenging yet it is fun though. I hope I can achieve that style that I wanted in the final outcome. And this is my stage 1 visual, all the things inside are done by 3D, absolutely no still pic :)

Character animation cycles

Just done my character animation cycles, it took me about 3 days to finish all of them, though there are some unsatisfactory in it, I will polish them soon :D

I found that it is really interesting to be a CG animator and I learned a lot from this lesson, comments and feedback are welcomed as animator always need critique in order to improve their skills, I agree that :D

Anyway I'm going to make a short animation soon and will be uploaded once finished.

Dream comes true

One of my dreams has come true...就是五月天来 MELBOURNE 了！没想到来这里第二年就有的看五月天了，真是感谢上帝的安排！我决定了这个礼拜就去买“飞”看演唱会lo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Undescribable busy

I cant believe that I still have time to blog here...heavy workloads drive my crazy...Part time job either...2 assignments due on next week. Thanks for Easter break otherwise I am dead -.- I just can say currently Im working on my concept stage for my major, a minor 3d animation project, and couples of 3d animation cycles exercises, which is tough yet it is good for everyone who loves animation, hope I can do it well, Thanks the Lord for blessing :) For all of my friends who do loves blogging, well I did spend my time to read u guys blog but I didnt leave any comment, sorry bout that ;D

Well till here then, Happy Easter break everyone! Will try to upload some of my works for next blog, hopefully :D

Back in Melbourne!

Wohooo! Back in Melbourne once again. I had so so much fun in KK !!! It was my most valuable, memorable, unforgettable, most-ON Chinese New Year since 2004! It's been 5 years...5 years....how many 5 years do you have in your whole entire life? Only GOD knows....I'm really really glad to meet all my high school friends and some of them were long lost friends too...what I mean long lost is we didn't meet each other for over 5 years...can't believe it...A lot of insane things happened during Chinese New Year such as Cat Hunter, Red Wine game, Hang over etc etc etc

I was able to have dinner with my grandmom and 大姑, whom I didn't see her for ages. At last I wanna wish my passed away grandmom a Happy Chinese Ox Year though she's in heaven. I know you would say sorry to us coz you were not able to give us angpow, but grandmom, that's ok that's fine, most importantly you are having a great life in heaven ok ;) May the GOD be with you always.

I don't think that I need to upload any photos here coz most of my CNY photos were uploaded in FACEBOOK, I believe everyone out there have seen all the pics as well, interesting wasn't it? HAHAHA The cat hunter!!! Proud to be your brother YSLO!! And I like your surprising pop out at Upperstar, everyone was shocked and hang gi \^O^/

Monday in Kuala Lumpur

A sunny Monday morning, I was awaken by a phone call from YSLO, ngai YSLO....hao lin det han lo you...call me kin kai wa....after finished on phone with him , I have to get ready for my last day shop which is Mid valley and Low yatt, actually I have been these two places last Saturday but I didnt buy anything coz I have to look carefully which one I have to buy according to my budget, maobian la I'm not a richie rich. Having online at hotel lobby now, all ang mo backpackers...I'm the only Chinese, felt like living in overseas walaupun here is Kuala Lumpur MALAYSIA!! HAHA....

I went to Klang yesterday and that was my 1st time to be there eventhough I've lived at KL for more than 3 years...I've tasted their famous food BAH KUT TEH, which is really really cheap and tastes good. Credits to the food and my friend Pooi Mun and her boyfriend, whom I knew them in Melbourne, thanks for the treat and fetch, thanks for sparing ur precious Sunday night with me, and being a KLANG tour guide for me, leaving me a good image for KLANG....

Anyway I will upload my pics soon on Facebook probably not here coz not many ppl reading my blog and Im heading off to Mid Valley now, which is quite far from city but better than KLANG( one hour by KTM ) Hopefully I can " MAN ZAI ER GUI " from shopping :) Cheers

1st update of 2009

After 12 months, I'm back in the most happening pub(for me),Shenny in KK once again, since YsLo drunk and threw nasi lemak last year, hahaha...and it's still the same, just the band I have no idea who they are but I can felt Ronald Jee and Ah Hock are fancy to the female singer, terus drooolllzzzzzz....... Anyway it was a blast last night.

I'm happy that we can hang out again after so many months and our friendship are remain the same. I'm looking forward for the next one, would be Chinese New Year probably, coz next week I'll be going to KL with mom, for CNY shopping and meet up with some KL mates, hopefully I can have a blast out there as well =D Let's ON

Recently we didnt do anything in KK but only yimcha and da game and futsal, hahaha..sounds bored but I'm happy with that though, nothing can replace gathering with friends and bullshitting...For me, no matter which country you are, how happening they are, most importantly you have friends or what we called Kaki around you, otherwise, it's no point for you to stay in that place. As I said just now, we awez hang around at cyber, we are playing Left 4 Dead, a Co-Op shooting game for zombie lovers, which is quite scary and interesting game. And of course Call of Duty 5 Co-Op mission as well, playing role as US Marine to fight against Japanese Emperor Army, cant wait for weekdays again coz the rate is rm1.5/hour LOL and of course the cyber is just 2 min drive from my house lagi.

Anyway going to stop now, will update myself when I'm free ;)

人生另一抉择

是只有我那么笨的人才觉得这是有机会好回的， 不过经过一段的岁月，我自己也终于放弃了。旧的不去，新的不来，这都是大家会对我说的，况且那天也跟我的某朋友商量这话题，他也说，没有地救了。那就好吧，希望大家仍然还是朋友，见面就算没有话题，也讲个 HI 咯，你知啦，我最讨厌见到认识的人好像不认识这样的。 也庆幸这世上有相机，至少我们可以回顾一下以往。好了，到此为止，拜拜！
