HAHA.. in an attempt to revive the blog
how's everyone's holidays? mine like passing by so fast.. sad sad sad.. haha
cuz my exams ended may 15th.. sooo much later than other ppl in singapore..then came home one week then went to penang a few days, then after that home another few days then just got back from langkawi on saturday..this thursday going to jb because my brother has some bowling competition there so yeah whole weekend there..h aha.. tiring holiday. i just want to nuaaaa.....
anita, guess you're home now? ome also? and yuehhsinhow was your birthday!!!!! cat how are you enjoying your time at home.. eat more eat more eat more! ireland don't have spicy food right.. haha.. and yunbing gimlim how's everything with ns and uni applications and stuff.. update!:)

i just got back from nj awhile ago.. went for to play sports! saw wenshu.. HAHA..

yup how's everyone doing?
i have finals in like 5 weeks i think..and it's kinda scary.. like the sheer amount of stuff i have to study is quite scary..but at least hall stuff is ending soon? so yeah not that bad..and as usual we end later than all other faculties in nus..which is like.. sad..cuz like then only left the medics in hall.. so empty!!!:(
we're learning the brain now.. which is just like.. A LOT.. haha..and quite interestingla.. but yeah a lot to remember...
OKAY PEOPLE UPDATE! oh yeah went to see the new council's stuff when i was there.. looks okay i think? and yeah elects camp all coming up soon.. so yeah.. cpu outing when cat is back?? but hmm.. might not be in singapore then..cat when will you be back until??

I have no photos because i cannot bring cameras to office WAHAHAHAHA.
It is hard to describe what serving ns is like, you have to experience it yourself to know haha. I would describe it as swimming around mindlessly in an empty vacuum glass bottle. You can see everyone else going on with their lifes in uni but you cant do anything except to float around some more.
The bright side is i work with a bunch of really friendly and nice people!
There is no rank hierachy in my workplace. Half my office is filled with female civilian workers (who says you cant meet girls in army haha). My chief clerk is quite motherly haha. My officer is quite brotherly HAHA. I went shopping with my female deputy head during a career event at suntec (everyone was staring at her rank since she didnt bother to change out of uniform). I get treats and free car rides every now and then. They trust me to handle important tasks. My boss gave me f1 tickets he didnt want!
The nature of my work is interesting since i dabble into different stuff here and there. The good thing is it is private sector related, so i'm learning a little from a variety of industries like advertising, premium gifts, media, HR, events management, service and such.
As much as i dont want to serve ns my job is quite relevant and i am generally a happy person HAHA.
Yup and i wear the green uniform even though i'm just a clerk so most strangers dont know i'm a clerk MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Hello all! it's my turn to update! I finally have time to sit down at my table, listen to music and chill out. HAHA. :D today one lecture and one tutorial got canceled! whee. :D
Anyways as you all know, i'm currently stuck in hall in the very ulu NTU in far west of Singapore! In case you didn't know, NTU isn't exactly in Boonlay! It's $7 taxi ride FROM boon lay mrt! ahhhh. So i'm normally in campus 24/7, except during weekends! But school has been good so far.

And yes, the Yueh-Hsin who took PCME is now enrolled in the school of
biological
sciences (: yes let me repeat, biology. yes pure biology. except now in year one i'm like exposed to all three sciences. there's an organic chem test coming up omg! wish me luck alright?
MMM. So have I been busy with? I went for 2 Freshman Orientation Camps (commonly known as FOC) in early july- school and hall- and i really enjoyed myself. Except they play really weird intimate games that yueh-hsin never liked =\ Plussss. there's this secret pal SP thing for all the camps. Basically everyone's blinded and you're randomly paired up with someone of the opp sex and you guys are suppose to talk for like half an hour or sth. Then before you break camp, the seniors will reveal your 'secret pal' to you. AHHH super lame! haha. And there are really DIRTY games!!

I don't know if you call this itchy hand or what! But i'm in my faculty club exco. HAHA. I'm currently taking up the post of a 'special project officer'- just like our ideas committee haha. and im planning events like an overseas cip trip. so everything's pretty exciting for now. (ignore the studies boo boo) and last week we went to take our formal photos! I'm showing my individual photo to you guys, i know I look really unglam and chubby so.. don't laugh!

long time never post here haha...
here's my biggest dorm room ever:
i'm so lucky got the corner room, so it's super huge. but it's so noisy here coz my room's right next to the TRASH ROOM!!!
my univ is like surrounded by corn fields, and one of the greatest landmark is the corn field placed right in the middle of the university, coz it's the first corn field used to experiment on the effects of fertilizers on crops! :)
so... not much entertainment here. only got 1 very small mall, like coronation plaza size... quite far from the university area. there's also a small cinema, but it's so expensive to watch movies here! arrghh!!!
there are so many squirrels around the campus, though. i guess they're like the only on-campus entertainment we can have hahaha
finally managed to capture it using my cellphone camera.
got psych mid term tmr... darn. haven't studied lol! *summoning NJ mugger spirit here*

i see caucasians everywhere (duh!), and whenever i see asians 80% chance is they're from China. haha...
my univ is like damn huge! i always carry a map everywhere... coz practically the whole town is the campus. luckily i got some credits from A levels, so i don't have to take basic courses which are all over the town!!

Hall life is crazy! Haha. Everyday got something one. Today classes finished a bit earlier. Usually my classes like 830 to like 4-5? EVERYDAY.

HEY SEEPEEYOU =D.
This was supposed to be a shuper nice farewell message before i SERVE THE NATION.
However, 3 days before setting off to the island resort with many MAN and no WOMAN i
miraculously
received a phone call from the workers at the resort saying my arrival date was postponed to MARCH.
I thought someone was trying to pull a prank on me so a military truck will pay me an early chinese new year visit tomorrow... but today i received the official notice of postponement from the resort people =D.
They bothered to send me a letter! Wah 5 star resort man and woman.
Yup. I was so happy HAHA.
Until i realised i am now unemployed and completely bored HAHAHAHAHA.
But it's okay since anything beats going to the resort tomorrow. =)
Got any vacant job must tell me okay? HAHA
