devil's bar

lalala. been hanging out with my colleagues pretty often. been to devil's bar twice with them. and they so so so can dance. fuck. haha. last night, we brought this new fren (he's actually a customer at the bar but we made frens with him cus he was omg cute cute cute) to devil's with us cus he wanted to check out the club scene here but no one to show him ard. btw he doesn't like to dance..he's so shy lar...but oh so cute!! *grins* perks of working at a bar patronized by many ang mohs. btw he's from new zealand..ere for a holiday..and he's been visiting our bar a few times this week..i think cus he knows we think he's cute. so anw, when we were at devil's, this ang moh girl (who's quite ugly) dirty danced with him and we were like whoah...then she dragged him away to some other corner. so we were like nvm..continue dancing away. we assumed they went to get a room or something. haha. but he came back like 20mins later...and GUESS WAT? she was a bloody stripper and was discussing her prices with him. he declined of course...she's not even hot then wanna charge ppl. *rolls eyes* and luckily he's not that kinda despo guy. (: wanted to show him other places like zouk or mos BUT by the time we finish closing etc..it's 3plus or 4 am. and everywhere will be closing. devil's bar closes at 6 so well, that explains y we always club there.

last night, we were closing the bar then left 2 couples lar. waiting for them to leave only. then guess wat? the 2 gals made out right there..in front of their bf/spouse!!!! fuck!!!! bisexuals. and the men are ok with it. whoah!!! cool man!!!! and they didn't fucking care that me, my colleague and the gorgeous nz guy were there as well...less than a metre from them. stuff u get to watch working at a bar (: haha

oh yeah results out on wed. no feelings man. *shrugs* i'm going back to kl on fri. jon's fren driving us back. will be there for a week or so. just to visit bee b4 she leaves n my gramma. yihaur suggests we get fucking drunk in portdickson when i'm back. hahaa. party ppl.

dance! dance!

so i have 6 more days of tele to do (: can't wait to get it over n done with. jac started working at bq too but she won't be there very often lar. hmmm nic is gg interview there tmr as well. yay! anw, i dunno if i should continue bq. i dun wanna quit it but on the other hand i'm lazy. haiyaah. i shall stick to it til results are out. btw, when r results coming out? i've decided not to work bq on mon nights cus i dun wanna miss desp housewives n grey's anatomy. haha. oh yeah forgot to mention i went to help out at some booth for the next stage on sat. i was pretty reluctant to go but i felt bad. i was few hrs late cus i couldn't get up on sat morning. i reached home at 5 am the night b4. so i reached there ard 330pm. was about to be bored outta my wits cus no one is interested in the booth...wrong crowd lar. but then one of the dance instructors for tns (michael) was there for awhile as well and i was entertained by his dance moves. made him demo for me. haha and it was so fuckin cool. i'm damn impressed n it just makes me smile watching him n his fellow dancers perform. so that made my otherwise sucky day cus it fuckin rained so heavily.

it is FUN working at bq. i dunno why. altho it's damn tiring n there are politics. i like it there BUT some constant nagging and many death stares in the house is not making work that easy or enjoyable. so that means i gotta quit soon or move out. hmmph. both sucks. so i'm trying to look for another job now ): hopefully can work with liz. she and jac pangseh me anw. maybe i shall stick to bq as weekend job.

i met liz nic jac for vday dinner at cartel. then we went to loof. omg. gorgeous place. we met a few nus law ppl there who happens to know my diving frens. haha. wat a small world. the next day me liz nic went to zouk. music wasn't too good. blearghh. the dj looked too old to be a dj. anw there were diff grps of annoying guys stalking us. we moved away a million times but they found us again n again. ooh i bumped into jinyuan there!

some cute angmoh guy tried to ask me out at bq. haha but i was so undecided that i badly attempted to change topic. i wanted to go out with him but then again, wat the hell..i dunno him! but he's cute. and he bloody spent $742 on drinks for his frens. it was funny. his frens were like, hey my fren ere is interested in u. would u consider going out with him? but he's leaving to shanghai on (i forgot when). please make him stay. can u make him stay? (i shrugged) (he shrugs and drinks). awww, u could make him stay. are u free on sunday? (at this pt i made up some damn stupid thing about helping out in a carnival? which was a blatant lie).
anw they asked me about shots so i went to get my colleague to talk to them n i think they tot i was scared off. he patted his fren who tried to convince me to go out with him. who knows wat he was saying? the next thing i knew, they went off w/o ordering shots. damn, i didn't want to bruise his ego. he was so adorable.

i got 3 tips last night. so proud. but it all goes to the tip box. we dun have personal tips lar. i got $10 twice n the last one, the guy was pretty drunk n he was norwegian n i couldn't understand half of wat he was saying. but he insisted the $15 outta $20 tip he gave was for me. he refused to let my colleagues put it in the tip box. so wth. but i feel a lil bad.

anw, i'm gonna quit my tele job today.

yeah. so i got drunk on the first day of work yest. yupz. smart me. it felt like shits man. i barely knew my colleagues. only met them that day itself. i was puking in the toilet..sitting on the floor with my head hung over the toilet bowl. a really nasty sight. i will nvr drink that much after work again. i promise. i dun wanna screw up. managed to get back and puked in the cab along the way. i pity the cab driver. oops sorry. the effects of last night can still be felt today. it's wearing off now as i type. haihz. other than that work there is pretty nice. ppl are generally great.. the env is def better than the tele job. wonder if i can cope both. maybe i hafta drop one soon.

anw on another note, i felt so tired today. of everything. of ppl trying to be cool. of ppl trying to brag that they are cool when honestly, they are so naive about drinks clubbing nightlife. of ppl trying to impress the world. of ppl competing to be popular. of ppl's insecurity and envy in social circles. i mean it really is immature and i dun like to tell ppl off cus they just get so offended n make everything ugly. it's best to ignore them n let them gloat about nothing. i used to be like that when i was 16?17? hello. ppl need to grow up.

work is tiring as well. sometimes i wish i enrolled in feb but then again, i wouldn't get these opportunities anymore. might as well learn the hard way. all i want to do is travel. just go on holidays man. but it's so expensive. i think i need a dive break soon. i'm going mad from not doing anything n having too much to do. both are equally bad.

yeahh...et is finally working after 2 whole months of bumming aroud..c'mon tell me u r proud (: haha anw it's a pretty simple job..just call ppl and ask them to come for a free makeover. yeahh..and usually ppl reject cus they think it's a scam or there's a catch but there isn't!!! haiyooo!! their lost. so i just have to yak away for 4 hrs and get paid 7/hr. hehe. ad it would be great if bq calls us up cus then i'll have 2 jobs and saving up for europe would be way easier..like 12-4 tele job and 5-closing waitress!!! and they're both at boat quay..very convenient (:

hmmph. i went to esplanade to eat the bak chor mee again with liz yest and the stoopid AUNTIE gave me mee kia when i clearly asked for mee pok...yucks..i dun like mee kia at all..so the noodles tasted so horrible. bak chor mee is ONLY yummy with mee pok!!!!! grrrr! anw i watched oc2 at liz's place..almost done except for 2 episodes...i know i know. i'm slow. seth is so cute..and yeahh marissa is hot..altho her character is quite the bitch.

in the end, i think they'll let me go. all these worries about prestige and me not getting a job and my choice of degree. i doubt everyone end up doing what they spent 4 yrs studying in uni anw. like i said i honestly dun care if i end up doing well and earning big bucks or not. *rolls eyes*

anw i officially am a bum cus i spent the whole of today at home. i surfed the net and i slept and i watched tv. i bummed around the whole day. time didn't pass as slowly as expected. yeahh..i think cus i slept off most of the day. hehe (: waiting for club 21 to reply me...i hope they employ me cus i need the money. oh yeah one thing good about staying home..not spending any money. which is great cus i'm broke and shopping should definitely be a no-no.

watched memoirs of a geisha yest. the book is definitely better!! i liked the book (: met up with liz nic n farrah. it was fun. haven't seen farrah in ages and she's still the crazy hilarious babe!!! it was good catching up. me nic liz went for dinner later at the hawker place next to esplanade. yummy!

sydney/cny

happy cny! i rushed back from changi airport at 4am on sat morning to half-unpack and pack for jb. left the house at 8am to go to woodlands. so lack of sleep!!!! anw the food was excellent as usual and it was fun meeting up with everyone. laughed so much and aloysius is oh-so-cute...he's my lil 5 yr old cousin btw. the way he talks is so adorable. he'd go "silly me" and "hey!" and "it's you again!". gambled a little. nvr win..haha i always lose in gambling btw. can't rmb when i ever won money. that's a real sign that i should nvr gamble. hmmph!! returned to s'pore on mon and visited carol and dawn on tues. gambled at dawn's and yet again, i didn't win. at least this time i didn't lose as well!! i lost and won til in the end i broke even. wtf rite? might as well dun play. cheh!

moving back to sydney. it was awesome. i really liked it there and enjoyed myself although i felt guilty for spending so much money on the trip..the airfare and the shopping!! gosh! but i liked the weather when i was there. ppl are generally really friendly. only the bus service takes too long..like a service only comes every 30mins. but then again, everyone is supposed to drive..like in kl so that explains y there is really not much demand for buses. i enjoyed the company of liz's relatives..her uncle and aunt (bernard n andrea) plus their kids; julian, sebastian, eliza and oliver and their dog, charlie who was so trained and obedient. she could actually wee on command!!! haha. aussies love bbqs. i had 3 bbqs out of the 10 days i was there with liz. learnt about the cricket game cus they are so into it over there. played cricket in the backyard (which is the tennis court) as well....faisal should be proud! haha i finally sorta understood the game. really complicating!!! got a terrible sunburnt at palm beach ( which really resembles the setting of The OC cus they have huge houses near the beach and there's even a place called newport ) which is showing it's ugly effects now cus i'm peeling on my back...damn disgusting.

the lifestyle is pretty laidback compared to s'pore. that's how i wanna live for now. for me there's really no point in rushing and being so damn kiasu...always wanting to be the top..going to the top school etc. it's so dumb. i really dun give a fuck about ranking and i'm quite disgusted with ppl who prioritise it. in the end, u may still become a nobody. watever ur reasons or excuses are, pressure or otherwise, i'll still respect ur outlook on life i guess. everyone deserves their own opinion..just dun sound arrogant and be utterly tactless and making a fool of urself. i just wanna breeze through life and not be caught up in the rat race. just being sufficient is sufficient enough. money can't be brought to grave so can everyone just let me do what i want. let me be happy, not regretting decisions other ppl made for me. i mean, it's about time i stop dreading the days.
